There are so many options for you to create at this restaurant. You can add ingredients or go bare minimum if you want. I loved the fresh spring rolls with shrimp. You can have them made vegetarian tofu or chicken too. I really enjoyed the peanut sauce it came with. The soup can be made with veggie, chicken or beef broth. I opted for the veggie with rice noodles. It was delicious! They also have me a whole plate of add in vegetables. The jalapeños sprouts and cilantro were fresh and added a much needed flavor. We walked in and placed our order and waited for about 10 minutes for them to make our drinks. Drinks were good and definitely hit the spot! I was craving pho for my birthday back in February and saw that this place just opened, so we decided to check it out. We arrived around 8pm. There's plenty of parking available, since the restaurant is located in a big shopping center. We were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant was bright and clean. It was a cold weeknight, and the place wasn't busy. There were a few customers dining. We ordered the following: Goi Cuon (spring rolls) $4.50 Goi Thit Bo Nuong (Thai beef salad) $8.95 Pho Rau Cai (veggie pho) $9.95 Pho Dac Biet (combo) $9.95 Boba tea $4.50 We asked for a few modifications in the apps, and they gladly obliged. The spring rolls usually come with shrimp and pork, but we asked to only put shrimp. We also asked them to sub shrimp for beef in the thai beef salad. Both apps were delicious. We all ordered a bowl of pho. My guys ordered the pho dac biet and I the veggie pho. The protein to veggie to noodle ratios were on point. My veggie pho came with fried tofu and lots of veggies. My broth was lighter than theirs, but still flavorful. We all enjoyed and devoured our bowls. The bubble teas were okay. The tapioca was good, but the drink itself was made using powder. It's good to have a Vietnamese restaurant in the Crabapple area. We've gotten takeout from Super Pho a few times, and while it's not as good as the best Gwinnett or Buford highway spots, it does hit the craving. The pho ga was very good (and packaged well to go), and the spring rolls are solid too. The Bahn mi has pretty good flavor, but the bread isn't anywhere as good as Lee's Bakery. I've also tried a basil chicken dish and it was pretty good too. They also have boba tea but I haven't tried it yet. They have easy online ordering also. We will continue to come here for Viet food. read more

New place that just opened up! Very clean and pretty inside. I walked in and was directed to sit down at a table that was quite frankly in a horrible spot unfortunately. It was near the kitchen and right in front of me was their cart where they disposed of all the dirty plates and a big bucket which held the pho broth from other customers. Hearing them dispose right next to me was gross and no one wants to see it while they are eating lunch. Huge turnoff, 1.Yes I could have asked to sit somewhere else but I didn't want to bother them since they sat me there 2. They should just be mindful that they shouldn't be leaving a cart full of used plates and bucket of broth anywhere in the dining area for people to see. It's just nasty. The food was ok. I ordered a small pho with steak and meatball. I got a good amount of meatballs, not nearly enough steak. Maybe 2-3 pieces? Not a lot of noodles either, and for some reason the broth was sweet! Well, finally, we have real pho in Alpharetta. Saigon Cafe does not count. It's located near the silos in the Crabapple area and just having gone, I'm near grateful. :-) The restaurant is rather large and spacious with plenty of seating. The folks who work there are very attentive and friendly. The menu looks overwhelming, but it's really not extensive to a fault. It just provides all of the options to some classic dishes. There's other things peppered in, too. The pho and banh mi are really good. The broth is really rich and delicious. Perfect for these recent colder nights. The banh mi bun is fresh and crispy and the filling is on point. So why the four stars? Well, the pad thai wasn't that great. It was actually pretty bland. I would recommend sticking with the Vietnamese stir fried noodles if you're feeling that route. Last thing, the menu depicted what looked like real Vietnamese coffee -- as in strong coffee slow-dripped into a cup of sweetened, condensed milk. Pros: this new restaurant is nicely set up and decorated. Although, due to COVID, it only offers takeout.. *the menu includes Thai, Chinese and Japanese items (plus the Indonesian satay appetizer). Cons: the food quality can use a lot of tweaking and improving. So far, it is not better than its competition in the area. Overall: Meh. =============== Ordered: Chicken Phó: nothing special and the chicken was dry. Shrimp Phò: again nothing special. Satay Chicken: nothing to do with satay. It was more like fried chicken pieces that Chinese Mall food court people pass samples of to lure you in.. minus the flavor. Spicy Basil: uhh not spicy and yeah, there was a 3-leaf stem of basil, and a lot of julienned bell pepper and a few pieces green beans. Very average. Spring rolls: they're supposed to have shrimp and pork or chicken. You bite into it and all you get is rice noodles with this strong raw chicken flavor. Not a fan. We never have any leftover spring rolls normally.. well, we did this time! 1.5/4 eaten and not enjoyed. I hope the quality of the food and flavors improve to justify the price. It is definitely nice to have a pho place without having to travel to Buford Highway or Pleasant Hill (Duluth) area. I decided to give it a try after passing by a few times. I walked a little after 12pm, I was the only patron at the establishment. The lady behind the register greeted me and said I could take any seat I want, so I did. It took her a good almost 5-7mins to bring me a menu. Then maybe another 6-8mins before a different person asked if she could take my order. I ordered shrimp spring roll, Thai tea, and the combination pho. I started watching a video on my pho and lost track of time, she drops off my shrimp spring rolls and said Thai tea will be ready soon and hurried away. Great! I can eat.... NOPE!!! She didn't bring me any dipping sauce for the spring rolls (pictured). I continued with my video, she finally drops off the Thai tea, and before she can scurried away... I asked if I should've gotten a dipping sauce. She then scurried away and came back with the dipping sauce and my pho. Well, at this point, I wasn't going to let my noodle soak in the soup and let it get cold... so I started with the pho and ended up not eating my spring rolls. The soup is sweet, but a bit fatty to my taste. The meat portion isn't as much as other pho places, but it's a decent amount to satisfy the cravings. The Thai tea.... It's not Thai tea. I don't know what it was, I kept trying to figure it out, but it's not Thai tea. And I know Thai tea. The server only checked on me 1 other time, which is fine because I was chomping away and watching my videos By almost 2pm, I was ready for the check and a to-go box for my spring rolls. At this time a party of 4 walks in and seated at the table next to me. The server drops the check and the pen rolls to the ground, she scurried away as she said sorry. For the 2 hours I was there, I probably spent most of my time waiting . The service could definitely use a major improvement... considering I was the only person in the restaurant, can't even imagine if there was more than 1 table occupied . The food is good and it will do the trick to satisfy your craving for pho. Oh!!! I finally ate my springs rolls for a late afternoon snack. It was good. The dipping sauce has a hint of spiciness to it which enhances the flavor of the shrimp. It was delicious!! There are lots of things to like about Super Pho. The service was wonderful, even though we waited for entrees and drinks because they were short-staffed. I didn't mind because our server was so kind. The noodle dishes, salads, and hu tieu were good. The drinks and bubble teas were also good. Their menu has lots of entree options and that was impressive. The only thing we didn't care for was the combination pho, which was a little disappointing since that's the namesake of the restaurant. We eat pho often, and the broth at Super Pho was very different to us. It was fishy and bland, and lacked the flavors that make pho taste like it has cooked all day. Moreover, our bowls barely had any meat. Maybe we are spoiled by our usual spot, but if you're going specifically for pho like we were, I can't recommend theirs. We recently tried this restaurant out for lunch. (We really miss the little Viet rest. that was on Hwy 92 next to the gas station!) Lot's of choices here, my companion had the "build it" Pho. She was very satisfied with the exception that she felt their should have been a bit more noodles in it. We shared the Spring rolls, 2 to an order a bit larger than we are used to. My companion said it had some chicken in it, I did not taste that. The peanut sauce was outstanding! I had the barbecue port banh-mi. The roll was great, filling fine but it was missing jalapeno's, I took some from my companion. Actually, for lunch, I did not need the spring rolls, the sandwich would have been enough. A man was taking care of all the tables, not very crowded, about 5 tables occupied, including us. He managed to keep up, we didn't have to wait for our order very long. We came here shortly after it opened in 2020, prior to COVID-19. The service was good, especially for a new restaurant. The interior is well lit, clean, and there were plenty of tables/booths to choose from. They sat us in the corner and were presented with menus immediately. There are two small TVs in the corners that play music videos. The pho tai was not too oily or greasy, which was great. As for the goi cuon we got, they were a little on the small side for the price, but tasty. The vegetables seemed fresh and the we were overall satisfied with our meal. If you want to add veggies to your Pho, you're now flirting with a nearly $20 bowl of soup! Amazing food. A very nice and friendly staff. My daughter and I went there having never had pho before. Amazing flavors and the only thing working against them is the location. Since there are no other restaurants in proximity outside of Alpine Bakery and that is on the other side of the center. The interior is gorgeous and a great dining experience overall. I highly recommend this place and hope that the location doesn't prevent them from being successful. I will bring back the entire family as this was an incredible experience. It pains me to leave this review having owned a restaurant myself, but if you're not ready to open, don't. I'll cut them some slack because they have just opened and hope this isn't a harbinger of things to come. Saw they were open by a sign near the road and stopped in for a quick snack. The space is beautifully decorated and welcoming. After several minutes of no one greeting me I went to the register and ordered two orders of two each pork summer rolls to go. The order was placed and 28 minutes later I finally got my 4 summer rolls. The pork was like pork jerky, dry and utterly tasteless and contained no discernible herbs. The rolls themselves were tough and too loosely wrapped. I didn't bother to taste the peanut sauce that was included. Ate one roll and tossed the rest. One guy was working the register and attempting to serve the few occupied tables but had no sense of urgency. I've eaten Viet food all over the world, including in Vietnam. I'll try it again in a few weeks and order the pho. If it's better than mediocre I'll update my review. Back to Pho Roswell (superb) or a schlep to Buford Highway for now. read more

Worst restaurant Ive went. First order, which was Pho, came in an hour later, and rest of the food came even later, which we were very unhappy as some people in my party already finished when some even didnt get their order. There was only one server and when we asked for some utensils or side dish, some requests were never met until we got out. When the Pho came, the soup was not hot and the broth was VERY sweet. It was a taste of a commercial chicken stock, not beef based authentic soup. The order even came in wrong size, and mine had hair inside the soup. When I told the server, she didn't seem to care. She didn't say anything, but just took the bowl away. I've never had such ignorant, unprofessional restaurant. If they are not ready for business, they should not be open. Lastly, the tip section started with 20%, then 23% and so on. With such service, they shouldn't expect such high tip. I will never come back, and absolutely do not recommend this place. Why pay $14 for Pho when it is worse than some instant pho at the store. read more

Well.. Well.. A Pho spot near me in the suburbs. First, this place is very nice. The Pho is pretty good. Tofu rolls can be a little better. But overall, good quality and decent price for the area. Being close to my house is a plus of course. So if you're around Alpharetta towards sweet apple. Go try super Pho.. Not the super hero of Pho by no means. But, a good side kick.
