Throughout my entire appointment, I could hear the staff speaking Vietnamese and talking badly about customers. Unfortunately for them, I also speak Vietnamese, so I understood exactly what they were saying -- and they were talking about me the entire time. On top of that, my nails were done crooked and uneven. When I politely asked them to fix them, instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was scolded and spoken to disrespectfully in Vietnamese, in front of me, assuming I wouldn't understand. I genuinely don't understand how a customer is expected to spend their hard-earned money somewhere and then be insulted and treated disrespectfully by the people providing the service. The poor workmanship was disappointing enough, but the disrespectful behavior was completely unacceptable. I will never return to Grand Nails Lounge, and I would strongly recommend others think twice before spending their money here.

It was not worth the money and the both of our toes are starting to peel after just hours of getting them done.

I used to come here all the time and never had a bad experience but strayed away after Covid + moving. I tried a place by my new home twice and it was awful. They lacked attention to detail, they rushed, and they checked their phones while performing a service. So I decided to go back to where I remembered I had a good experience. I made the drive to I U nails and I'm so happy I came. They are so personable, friendly, and pay attention to detail and I am so grateful for that. Amy started on my nails and did a great shop shaping them into such a pretty almond shape. Hip finished off my paint + design. Hip also did my pedicure and did not skimp on the leg massage or rush it. She really strives for great customer service and it shows. I will never go anywhere else again. I have been trying to find words to describe what happened here yesterday, 6/25/19. An extremely rude and quite honestly, entitled, irate woman came in for an appointment to get a broken nail fixed. Not only was she condescending and belittling to the male technician who was unfortunately given her, but she continued to exhibit that same sense of elite behavior when confronting the manager on duty about how unhappy she was with the service she was given. I hope Nancy B is ashamed of herself as she should be for treating another human being with such unnecessary attitude. This nail salon is one of the best in the neighborhood and in my opinion ALWAYS strives to provide exceptional customer care, even when they are being attacked by spoiled adult children. read more

No excuses but that Sunday we had one tech called in sick and then another one left right before your appt because he had a cold cannot stay work for the rest of the day. For the lady seated next to you, she waiting for her mom and at the last minute she changed her mind and wanted a pedicure. That was the reason why she was sitting there. Again it was my fault that I didn't get your number when you called to make an appt, that way I would have called you back to reschedule due to emergency sick techs. I walked in with my daughter and we were happily greeted with fast service. We were able to sit down for service immediately. The nail technicians were friendly, respectful and helpful. My 8 year old daughter got the classic spa pedicure and j got the special. They treated my daughter well and were kind. I was very impressed with the salon and service my daughter and I received. I grew up in Salons as my Mom was a beautician so I'm very picky. I have to say I was so impressed on my first visit. They were fast, efficient and so nice! I recently moved to the area and wanted to have somewhere close that I could go real quick to get my nails done. This place is excellent. I was in and out with exactly what I wanted. Initially I was against it but when my girlfriend started giving me tasks to do around the house while they were gone, I quickly changed my tune. So glad I did! Where do I begin... she knicked my cuticles and held the drill down too long it and burned my nail, I flinched as every other person would as it is an instinctual reaction to pain. The first time this happen she said ok I'll drill really slow because you're sensitive and I said no, you burnt me it's not being sensitive" Then she knicks my cuticle and I went to check if it was bleeding and she had this look on her face she looked at her coworker as if I had just spat in her face. Then again she gets my cuticle and I jerk my hand out of reaction and I And she says verbatim "you are kind of baby" and I looked at her and said "excuse me?!?!" And she didn't say much after that. When I had picked my color she went and got a different color and said this one's prettier let's do this one. And I'm like uhhh ehh and she said ok you pick and I said I'll keep the dark one I picked out. At some point she got hot and put the fan in her face and being silly she put the fan in my face and then I smiled but then she pulled her shirt collar outward and put the fan angled down so the handheld fan was by her chin facing down. And then while I had my hands with acetone foils on all my fingers and with how fast she did it.. she grabbed my shirt in the chest area and put the fan to my chin to have air blown on my boobs. And I kinda froze up and was really quiet and I didn't say much after that. She kept trying to push a manicure on me I had to tell her no over and over and over that I only want a GELL manicure and as the session went on she told me I'm too sensitive and I shouldn't get GELL. And I said why? She said because I'm too sensitive and I look at her and say no. I like GELL. After another time she burned my nail with the drill she rolls her eyes and said do you want her to finish? (Le Ann) and I said you know what yes. I want her to finish. She was so so so damn rude. Absolutely Crossed boundaries. Tried to make me feel like I was doing something wrong. She also asked me if I'd been there before and if one of her coworkers had done my nails and I said yes everyone in this room (3 other people) has done my nails before I've been here forever. Not once have I been treated like that. She literally was calling me names while expecting me to pay her? Like It's her job, not mine. So if you wanna be borderline assaulted, talked down to, told that your color is ugly, and be treated like you're the biggest inconvenience on plant earth, you'd like it here. Linda is the worst nail tech I have ever encountered in my fucking life. Oh! She also told me to stop watching as I was looking at her do my nails. I was watching a YouTube video and I would glance back-and-forth, but she literally said stop watching her do my nails. I encourage you to go to other nail salons. Or if you do stay here. Do not give Linda your money!!!
