When I went on The Laundry Spot's website I saw that they offered this service so figured I'd give them a try. I had a few questions so I called the number listed on the home page of the website, and the woman who answered referred me to another number for the pick up and delivery service which turned out is also listed if you click on the "delivery" link. I got an answering service and left my contact info and within minutes, James the owner called back and answered my questions and walked me through the process of setting up an account so that I could do the online scheduling myself. There were 3 convenient windows of times to select from for both pick up and delivery so I scheduled pick up between 8am-11am on Tuesday and delivery during that same timeframe the next day. I got a text a minute or so prior to them arriving both times and they were both within the scheduled timeframes. Since the home was unoccupied those days, I was able to text them the temporary door code I set up remotely and allow them to pick up and drop off inside in the entry way. The laundry consisted of two full sets of bedding, several towels dish towels, etc. All came back perfectly clean and nicely folded. Online I was able to select the type of soap (or even provide my own if desired), optional softeners, and add any specific instructions such as cold water, gentle cycle etc. I am so thrilled to have found this service! Since I'm a big fan of USEFUL technology, I'm very happy that I can do all of the scheduling from my smart phone, including paying the invoice. I was initially apprehensive about providing my credit card info and wanted to be sure the info was encrypted and secure. The owner, James, patiently explained to me that he's partnered with a few different technology platforms in order to make it possible to do all of this online, so it's all very secure and tested. One thing to note: because of the way the various platforms are linked, you see different URLs when you schedule versus looking at your account versus payment, but after it's set up it's a piece of cake. And best of all, the laundry comes back beautifully clean and nicely folded without me having to do a thing (I have back problems) so this is a wonderful solution for me. And the pricing is incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend trying this laundry service and supporting a great local Austin business!

The service I use includes washing. drying and folding. I have some items that I like to air-dry. I simply put those dirty items on hangers and they are returned the same way (cleaned, of course) so I can continue to air dry at home. I sent the laundry out in the linen liner from my hamper. It came back laundered as well. Laundry is returned in a sturdy and safe NoScrubs labeled laundry bag for future use. Our usual load is 20 pounds or under. Just to note, they don't do things like area rugs, etc. Towels, bedding are accepted. Be sure to tip your cleaner because it's well deserved. With tipping, the pricing is still less than or equal to what I pay using the laundry room at my apartment complex. However, those washers don't always do the best job. Highly recommend.

With a huge king blanket, sheets, lots of clothes and towels each week it takes about 2 to 2.5 hours there of washing, drying and folding as opposed to....,probably 8 to 9 hours of being stuck at home over the weekend waiting on the one washer and dryer to finish. Not only that, but most of the time we're in a drought situation and with a well, we have to be more conservative with water use. It has now been over two years that I've been going there. Depending on which day I'm there I can always count on seeing the same really sweet and helpful people. It's easy to go in, load the card given to you with $ and start washing. Two years ago Tip Top was purchased by Reid's Cleaners and initially they kept track with Tip Top on quality so I moved to a location near my home on Bee Caves Rd. Quality of workmanship has become all too predictable. Laundered shirts with puckered collars and seams; dry cleaned items with easy to remove spots still visible; loss of structure in dry cleaned items, etc. etc. What prompted this review was my pick up two weeks ago of a wool Roxy coat (never dry cleaned, worn twice) that ruined the fabric and a Nordstrom purchased jacket/blazer that had the lining trailing behind it under the bag. The (very nice!) ladies in the Rollingwood store helped me remove the liner of the Nordstrom jacket with scissors. Aargh! When I looked at the other Roxy plum coat it was as if someone had rolled it around in lint and dog hair. It was utterly ruined. It was a gift for my daughter which weeks before had tags on it and had **never** been dry cleaned. The poor, great guy at the Reid's location on Bee Caves Rd was very kind and said I would be called, and another woman helpfully told me I would *not* be charged for the DO-OVER on the ruined coat but was for the original destruction, which I had already paid. I would not recommend Press Cleaners and feel strongly that their business model is misleading…read more Summary: Press Cleaners charges a premium for a service they do not actually provide, offers poor customer support, and returned my wedding dress completely uncleaned after missed deliveries and multiple communication failures. I scheduled dry cleaning for my wedding dress and clearly indicated that it was a wedding dress, included care instructions, and noted specific areas with stains that needed attention. From the start, communication was a problem. I attempted to contact customer service to update pickup instructions and received no response. I reached out again with questions about delivery timing once the cleaning was complete, and again received no response. My delivery was delayed by a full day, and the original delivery time window I selected was not honored for the new day. Since no one would be home during the updated window, I contacted customer service yet again and still received no reply. Eventually, a customer service agent called me to say they were unable to remove the stains and would issue a partial store credit. During that call, I asked about the updated delivery time and was told they did not know. At that point, the new delivery window had already passed and my dress still had not arrived. The agent was not even aware that my order had not been delivered and could not tell me where my dress was. When I asked what methods were used to clean the dress or what attempts had been made to remove the stains, the agent had no information at all. It became clear that Press completely outsources everything. The dry cleaning, pickup, and delivery are all handled by local cleaners. Press is simply an app and a customer service layer, and even that is poorly managed since they have no visibility into the status, location, or care of your items. When my dress was finally delivered, it came with the bag and receipt from the local dry cleaner. That receipt showed a price that was roughly one quarter of what I paid Press. The local cleaner's receipt also included pickup and delivery, which made it very unclear what I was actually paying Press for. Press was unable to assist me at any point in the process. The dress arrived in the exact same condition it was picked up in. The stains were still there, with no improvement at all. I honestly believe no one attempted to clean it. Afterward, we used baby wipes at home and were able to remove the stains on the first attempt, which made this even more frustrating. Customer service was a poor experience as well. The agent was rude, frequently interrupted me, and was argumentative rather than helpful. I only received a refund after stating that I would dispute the charge. In short, you are paying about four times the price for a service that provides no added value. The cleaning, pickup, and delivery are all handled by another company, and Press offers no meaningful oversight, accountability, or support. I would absolutely not use this business again.

It is a bit expensive to do leather jacket cleaning, but for the experience and process, I would say it was totally worth it. They texted me to let me know when they would arrive to pick up and to drop off. They gave me a clear time approximation and even beat it (they estimated 6-8 weeks but I believe it only took about 2-3?). My jackets came back wrapped really nicely, and the delivery driver took proper care to deliver at my door. In fact, I wasn't home and she asked how I would like my jackets to be dropped off. The thoughtfulness and consideration Ian's provides can't be beat. I also appreciate that they have an app so you can easily plan your pick-ups and drop-offs. If I have any articles of clothing that will need dry cleaning in the future, Ian's will be top of mind.

They've got rows with different sizes of washer and the price varies based on size, the lowest being around 4.25 for 25min cycle. You can get quarters from a machine at the front that takes 1s, 5s, 10s, and 20s. *Fair warning, it did eat a 5 of mine at one point and there wasn't really anything I could do. You can also purchase dollar tokens with a credit card, but keep in mind that many of the machines are not full dollar amounts. There was a drink vending machine and a snack one, the snack one also had some mini detergent bottles and clear plastic laundry bags. I didn't try the ATM but there was one. The soda machine offered tap but tap pay was not working so I had to use dollar bills. The dryers were honestly the best part, they're huge and 25 cents gets you 5 minutes, and I found I could dry what I needed within 20 minutes. Overall, a good place to go if it's what you need to do.

Seems like alot of places out here have the option to pay with your debit card or through an app which I loved but this is the second laundry (previous was a different business) I've visited where this was an option and once again there was a sign that said the option to pay with card wasn't available. But this location at least had a ATM so I got some money and just said screw it because I needed to do my laundry and didn't feel like driving and driving around. Put in $20 in the change machine because the ATM had a minimum of $20. I used the $7 washer and realized after putting in the quarters I had about $3 left. Now I'm not good at math but to have $3 left after only using $7 in change. Yeahhh I was missing my money so I put a complaint via email and the Texas area manager got back to me asking me to reply back with a date and time of when to meet one of the managers at the laundry so I can get reimbursed. I told them 8am the following day. So I showed up with laundry because I ok I'll just use the reimbursement to do some more laundry. Got there and walked inside, there was only one person doing laundry and no one else. Waited in my car in front of the store and. Emailed the manager of who suppose to meet but that I was still waiting there at 8:19.. waited till 9am and never got a response back. No one else was in the laundry. They basically wasted my time and the machine stole my money. Horrible first experience
