They will close kinda randomly due to weather and we aren't taking about during a snow storm. The only way I make sense of it is because it's too cold? Because it's 10 degree out and people don't want to come to work or the water will freeze? 2. The VIP service is meant to be unlimited washes but I was annoyed to find out that they limited it to 1 per day. I was planning to get a wash right away because the first was not good enough but nope, that isn't allowed. 3. Lastly, there is a lack of customer service most of the time. They try to sell you for the VIP service but isn't around to help much. Here is why 2 stars: 1. Cancellation was easy. 2. It was convenient location for me. 3. During the middle of the weekday, convenient.

I have two dogs, and this car was 70% dog hair, 20% dirt they bring in, and 10% regular things I forgot under the back chair. Glow Auto Detail staff were miracle workers and did an outstanding job cleaning this car. They worked on it with such care and dedication that I cannot but recommend them to absolutely everyone reading. They also charge reasonable prices!!! It is exceptional work and I will for sure be calling them in the future.

The self wash is the better value, but I found that some of the self-service bays leave faint scratches on my car so I usually stick with the no touch. But the last few washes haven't been great. $22 bucks for a wash and the top of my car is still dirty. I probably won't use them again.

FYI, the undercarriage wash starts right away, so be sure to drive in slower to get a better clean. Rest of my wash went well. After the wash, I took a look at the car and it seems the top of the back window area was still a little dirty from suds. I did also attach a photo from the roof of the car, which looks absolutely pristine and ultra reflective. I went in with a pretty dirty car that had dust all over, old water stains on the roof, and some streaks of mud/dirt on the doors. Save for that spot on the top of the back window, everything else looks very clean and I'm pretty satisfied, especially knowing the bottom of my car got a decent cleaning from the salt during the winter months. (NOTE: All the 1-2 star reviews seem to be about those higher $$$ non-self services.) Will probably become my new go-to carwash place, due to their superior payment machine: you can just tap your credit card, making it much snappier than the old slide-through one at the Somerville Carwash on Washington St where I usually go. More importantly, the timer display is highly visible: nice big 2" tall bright red numbers on a monitor that is slanted in a corner making it much more visible than a flat-against-the-wall display. I just cough up my $6 for 5 minutes, enough time to do the high pressure soap spray followed by high pressure rinse spray, to get the layer of icky road salt off, and away I go. And last but not least, the self service bays are closed at one end, which means you have to back out when leaving, but is quite a blessing on cold blustery days! I would not want to come here during the really busy daytime hours especially when people get out from work, but it does seem to be thoughtfully set up with traffic cones creating orderly lanes for the automated washes, hand washes, and self-service bays---far better than that godawful place in Arlington I tried once. Luckily I always go in the evening after my Y (just 4 minutes away) closes, so no danger of that ever happening.

When I told them the manager said I had asked for the carpets not the seats(seriously, I know why I brought my car in to be cleaned for) after going back and forth they said they would do the seats for $70 more, they had to be done so I managed to talk them into giving me $20 off so it cost me $50 more, $210 for subpar cleaning will never go back to them again!
