After the first, I called and chalked it up to a missed signal (the detailing appointment was made by someone else as a gift), and so we rescheduled. The day of the second appointment came and I sent a text when they didn't come at the time we'd agreed on. Ten minutes later, I called and left a message. An hour later, I received a text that they sent a confirmation email, didn't hear back, and had to do "snow removal" instead. We'd received about an inch of snow the day before. I double checked and did not have any email, not even in the junk folder. I asked which email address they had but received no response. I have asked for a refund.

I received a text confirmation the day of service, and the employee arrived right on time to provide the interior detail at our home. Our Chevy Tahoe wasn't in terrible shape, but between two little boys, we had a nice covering of dirt, leaves, and food that was enough of a mess I couldn't clean it properly myself. With the car in the driveway and mobile detailing station outside, two hours later our car was transformed. The interior honestly looks better than when we bought the car, and I'll be calling Shine Show again in the future. Definitely recommend!

I booked an appointment online through Lux Mobile Wash website, paid for my deposit, and got immediate confirmation that it was confirmed and that I would receive a call soon to also confirm. I asked my roommate to stay at home for the day I had scheduled. I never received a call to confirm, which I found unsettling. I called the number and left a voicemail, and immediately got a call back! It turns out that they had another appointment scheduled for the time I had booked, and could not detail my car, so they would cancel the appointment and refund my deposit. I appreciated this, but asked if we could instead reschedule. Here comes the sketchy part. He agrees to reschedule, offers a 3 pm time slot. I said, my roommate who I arranged to be their during the day can't be there, but I live in a safe neighborhood so could leave my car open. He says yes, but asks me to leave my keys for him in case he gets locked out while detailing. ... Seriously? He expects me to leave my keys in the car??? I agree (but was not planning on it, figured I'd just run home if he got locked out). Anyways, he promises to call again as it gets closer to 3 pm, and as you may expect, he never does. It's now been almost a week with me calling every other day asking for an update, a call back, or my money back. No reply. Left multiple voicemails.
