Very disappointed, removed my vehicle from service don't recommend. January 5 2026 wanted to support local business brought in for AC work. Told pressure switch & service valve to be replaced - paid $933. Following work service receipt states and was told no leaks detected now operating as designed. After a few weeks of cold weather and AC not needed, February 20 system blowing hot air again. Took back and told the replaced service valve is loose allowing Freon to escape. Retightening and recharged with no additional charge. March 12 2026 again blowing hot air, brought in third time for service. Now told small leak in evaporator core and wanted $523 for EVAP cleaning and stop leak service or in thousands for EVAP core replacement. When does it end? Bottom line they took $933, had my car in their shop 3 times and I still have no AC and they want $523 to work on it again. Expected them to service my car right the first time after paying $933, or at minimum make it right if they didn't, and not keep charging me exorbitant fees. Spoke directly to Mike the owner who I felt had no interest in making it right. DONT RECOMMEND. read more

I took my toyota 4 runner to the dealership for an oil change, rotation and 110,000 mile checkup. They told me I had some critical things needing repair. Leaking ball joints $1600 front $1,500 back. steering wheel flush, induction, new wipers ect. I knew I had just replaced the wipers so I was like hmmm. I took it to Ice cold air for a second opinion. The said they found no leaking ball joints and said everything was tight. They showed me the steering fluid, wiping it on paper. It was clean. So the only thing I had done was the induction that they agreed needed done. I saved over $3,000. I highly recommend this honest shop! Thanks again Mike and crew. I am so grateful! read more

Didn't even bother to call me back I told them I needed a lot of work done on three of my vehicle they were just going to fix the fuel line where the old gas came through the rubber fuel line they didn't even bother to call me back for that after I went down there at a 1 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday today and told them what was wrong after stopping by and they told me the day before to stop by tomorrow in which I did gave them my number they said they call me back in an hour and a half that was about 1 o'clock Play Denver bothered to call me back after they said they would and I have a lot of work to do on three of my vehicle to the tune of probably a couple thousand dollars they know my number we'll see if they ever call back one star read more

We broke down the other day while filling up just across the street from these guys. I knew it was the serpentine belt and I felt complete devastation since my wife isn't well and has a very bad back condition. I thought I was going to end up buying a hotel room, paying for a tow service, and then possibly waiting for the part. While I silently panicked and began calling people in this area, asking if they could help, my wife looks up and points to this place and says "Hey call them!" and so I did. I thought it was an extremely slim chance they'd be able to help immediately but they said they could and they had access to getting the part as well. Casey and Mike we so professional and helpful in making my wife comfortable as possible while we waited, bringing her a fan, and place to sit with her laptop. Fortunately, they were right across the street, and I made it without needing a tow also. In under two hours, we were on our way home! I HIGHLY recommend this place and these guys! read more

Hopefully this can save somebody some money. I brought my car in because it had a coolant leak on a Thursday. I left it with them as they were busy and couldn't get to it until the morning. Got a call Friday and they told me the technicians diagnosis was that the leak was coming from the upper radiator hose. I gave them the go ahead to replace it and also had them replace my upper and lower control arms as well and install new shocks on the front suspension. They say it should be done Monday or Tuesday. Didn't receive a call Monday, I called them Tuesday for them to tell me it'll be done Wednesday. Get a call Wednesday it's done, I pick it up and drive it less than half mile home. Two hours later I go to pick my wife up and after driving about 8 miles my car beeps and says STOP pull over coolant low. I get out and check and it has completely leaked out(this was happening for weeks before I brought it in to get fixed). So I have to pull off the road and refill it with water which luckily I still had in my car from previous use. You can imagine my frustration as this is the same exact situation and issue I wanted fixed. If I had not had enough water to refill the coolant reservoir, I would've had to call a tow truck I gave them a call,they were closed. Left a message. Got a call back the next day, so I bring it back in on that Thursday, a week after I originally brought it in. I believe the owner came out and I showed him how it was still leaking from the same spot it had been for weeks. They tell me they're not gonna charge me for a new diagnosis. Get a call back later. New diagnosis the problem is your thermostat is cracked. "It must have gone out after you drove off. it's just a coincidence." he didn't mention that the lower radiator hose was pretty corroded and could break at any point so they want to go ahead and replace that too. Now this was never mentioned on the original diagnosis when they replace the upper radiator hose. I told him it is leaking the exact same way it has been for weeks. I have video of it leaking the exact same way weeks ago. He tells me they should be done tomorrow(Friday). I gave them the go ahead because I need this problem fixed. Don't hear anything from them Friday. Got a call Monday, it's done that's going to be another $550(this was with a $100 "discount" for my trouble). I talked with the manager about the entire ordeal and told him how I felt taken advantage and how if the ORIGINAL diagnosis had reflected all these issues totaling over 1.5k I would not have gone through with it. All in all the problem was not fully diagnosed when I originally brought it in and I feel like I was played for as much money as they could get. That was my first and last experience here. The service was great. I thought I needed a new positive battery cable because I thought the old one was frayed. The mechanic took the car into the shop and 10 minutes later drove out finished. All the car needed was a new battery clamp and a clean up of the terminals. When I went to pay Kevin said "no Charge, just tip the mechanic". That's the kind of honesty these guys operate with. WARNING! Come with a full wallet. These guys quote you a price, verbally, then do the work and charge you $100 more. Quote of $400+ charged $525. They don't break down the invoice, it just says compressor kit $500. No labor or parts breakdown. You and I can buy the same compressor and dryer for $164. So they are charging $336 for an hour job. That's just labor and profit. Got me once, it won't happen again. Tell your friends and neighbors, RUN AWAY from this place. I certainly wish I had. read more

We've taken the car back 4 times in about as many weeks - the air is warm and NOT blowing cold - let alone ice cold. They say they've replaced the compressor... have they all been bad?Their website is also false reporting and A+ BBB rating when I just checked and it's a B+ read more

One year ago I took my vehicle in to ice cold air in st Pete because the air wasn't working well,they diagnosed the problem and they gave me several options,due to finances I opted to just get a charge and take my chances .They charged my system and charged me about $60 I had cold air for 9 months with no problem.went on vacation and when I got back my air conditioning wasn't blowing real cold so I brought it to ice cold air in largo told them to just charge the system ,and that I knew about the problem with the system.5 minutes after they took my vehicle in they brought me back and tried to sell me acall $300 repair job, I requested that they just charge the system and that I couldn't afford the repairs . They charged me$80 and told me the system needed the repairs,when I left the air was worse than when I brought it in ,I went to Wal-Mart and got a $32 a/c pro ac charging kit and charged the system as per instruction (system charge was Much lower than it should have been) it's been3 weeks and I still have cold air,if you need ac work don't go to ice cold air in largo, go to the one in st Pete different owners awesome service read more
