I clarified that my dog was a service dog and that I would sit outside. After I said that, I was met with what felt like a cold response and was simply told, "ok." After I sat outside, the same server approached and said, "We don't allow dogs on the patio either." For a second time, I explained that my dog was not a pet but a service dog. The server then responded with something along the lines of, "If it really is, that's ok." At that point, I decided not to eat at the restaurant. I mentioned that refusing service to someone because of a service dog is illegal. The server responded that he did not hear me say my dog was a service dog earlier, which was confusing because we had already gone back and forth about it. A man claiming to be the owner then came out and did not seem concerned about the situation or interested in addressing the issue, only concerned about the dog. He repeated that the server didn't hear me which I find extremely hard to believe due to the back-and-forth exchange and cold response initially when mentioning the dog is a service dog.

Beyond the culinary failures, the bill was a mess. They conveniently "forgot" to honor their own Wednesday special ($50 off a $100+ bottle of wine). When you're spending over half a grand on a meal, you shouldn't have to audit the check for basic math and promised discounts.
