MY REVIEW IS FOR THE DREAM TEAM AT THE SYRACUSE, UT LOCATION~ First time there, had a 15 minute lunch break and they recommended the rodeo burger, which was pristinely prepared like it was for a movie star that just came in unexpectedly. They manned the grill and their customer service was genuine and rich in "give-a-damn"; it was definitely NOT busted as the song goes - and like most other fast food chains. They were so concerned with my experience and first time there that they forgot my burger, which was forgivable b/c they comped me an extra shake on the house which I gave to my next customer who had battled three different types of cancer and won! Very disappointing tonight at Iceberg. We've never been there and were excited to go. We have heard so many good things that we were very happy to find one relatively close to our home in Syracuse. We ordered 5 desserts. 4 small shakes/sundaes and 1 regular shake. Order #65. The attendant who took our order gave us attitude about having ordered a blueberry shake and a blueberry sundae. After 20 minutes I asked if our order had been lost. I was told that ours was next to be made. 5 minutes later order #68 was ready. It was 2 shakes. We had ordered and watched 2 couples receive their orders and leave and another couple receive their order before we got ours. I again confronted (aggressively) the attendant. They said I was next again. I cursed. "But I thought I was next last time. How much longer do I have to wait? I want my money back." I assume the manager then came out to help me. But he didn't help at all. He counseled me on not cursing in his restaurant. I counseled him on being faster with his orders. He told me its Saturday night, its slow everywhere. 1. What happened to "the customer is always right"? 2. It took Sonic 5 minutes to provide me with a similar order? 3. It took 3 confrontations from a disgruntled patron before ever hearing, "I'm sorry". I've got to say, this place is pretty awful. I just got a number one (double cheeseburger) with a mini grasshopper shake, and added chocolate syrup. They forgot the chocolate syrup and gave me a regular size shake. The problem is that they don't use grasshopper cookies. It's allegedly cookies and cream ice cream with mint flavoring added. It was more like soft serve vanilla with some off brand Oreos thrown in and green food coloring. It was gross, so I threw the whole thing away. tried to order from here. they refused us service because they were "closed" even on the door says they're open until 11 and we were there at 9:30. i understand that they have to clean the machines, i worked in service so i understand the frustration of someone coming in when you're trying to clean but it was so early. i would respect it if i came in at 10:50 but 2 hours before they close? c'mon just wanted my shake. and when we came up to the window the girl who worked there was so rude and told us to leave and that they're closed when they clearly were not. all of the employees were just standing around. just thought a manager should tell them to at least be kind to the customers because if they were closed i would have been understanding if they said it nicely like "sorry we're closed" instead of "we're closed leave" read more

found out why the service is so bad here! the manager was right next to her. The poor younger guy manning the cash register and window was frustrated. He was sick or apologizing for the managers and kitchens mistakes. Multiple people who got there order mest up from the drive through came in to get it right. My order was wrong. And literally everyone else's in the restaurant needed corrections as well. I ordered Ice cream after eating, and guess what.... they mest that up too. wrong sizes and they don't read the ticket, I had to tell them AGAIN, what flavors I ordered. Maybe don't let your kitchen staff be on the phone taking personal calls in ( in Spanish, obviously wasn't a business call on a pink iPhone) and maybe the orders will start showing up on time and correct! Good shakes - very large, even for the "mini". The burger was very average - cold bun - almost like it was refrigerated so it make the burger luke warm. The onion rings are HUGE but the onions are so thick I couldn't bare to eat them; it was like three layers for each piece and 4-5 pieces in an order. Didn't come with, or offer any sauce in the drive thru. Very slow service - guy at the window was very relaxed in taking the order - almost like he didn't care because they were 30 minutes away from closing. I won't be going back - food is better at arctic circle and they give fry sauce in their drive thru. Shakes are comparable in quality but not in size. I don't recommend eating here. read more

I have given this place multiple tries throughout the 6 years my parents have lived in the area. Each time it becomes worse- the wait is longer, the food is colder, and the service is nonexistent. My latest attempt will be my last. We walked in, and were the only customers waiting to be served. As we stepped up to the counter the employee manning the register just walked away, not sure what she was doing, when she came back we ordered 7 mini shakesm 5 of them were banana with vanilla icecream. We then waited nearly 30 minutes, and watched 4 different groups walk in and be served both their shakes AND food before we received even 1 of our shakes. Fed up with seeing other people both walk in after us and receive food and shakes before. We walked to the counter and requested our icecream for a thrid time. They tried to hand us half melted shakes that were not even the correct flavors. At this point we demanded a full refund (that took 3 employees to figure out how to do) and we took our leave. I was so excited to take my boys to get a yummy shake and cheeseburger after my son's baseball game. We walk in and it was so hot. They wanted to eat inside, but as we waited for our order we asked for it to go. Two of my boys ordered bubblegum milkshakes and by the time we got them they were way melted. My other son got a chocolate Oreo and it looked awesome compared to my boys melted ones. I ordered a grilled cheese and my cheese slices were not even melted. We also asked for water, And they didn't have any ice. So I've heard a lot of good things about this place so I decided to try it out. I was craving a late night treat and decided to give them a shot. I was a little taken back by their prices when I pulled up to the drive-thru. I ended up ordering a specialty shake. You could either get a mini for $4.69 or a regular size for $4.99. My thoughts were go big or go home. Upon getting the shake, I took one look and had no idea what I was going to do with all the ice cream I was given. It was enormous. I ended up getting a Heath bar mix-in. It was delicious. I ended up bringing it back home and split it it four ways between my daughters, niece and I. Terrible.... I went through the drive through twice in one day, once for lunch and then later for shakes. The first time I ordered a rodeo burger and some fries and I waited for 30 minutes just to get to the window. There I waited an additional 5 minutes for them to even open the window and get my payment. The second time I went I got two shakes at 10:00 at night where there were no people in the lobby and no one in the drive through but me and it still took 15 minutes to just get two cookie dough shakes! When I got home one of my shakes had no cookie dough in it, just vanilla ice cream. The service is terrible! The place needs to be replaced with something good! read more

Heard about this location while at a sporting event up the street so I had to come try it. It was great. Went through the drive thru and got a nice friendly outgoing welcome from Mariah. My order was difficult and I went back and forth on some decisions. She remained friendly and very helpful. I drove up to the window where she greeted me with a great smile. Took my money and have back my change. In a couple minutes I had my shake and she offered extra napkins because it was so big. A few minutes later (a total of 5 from when I ordered) she gave me my food. A rodeo burger, onion rings and two fry sauces. The service was not the best. When I ordered it took 10 mins just to get the order in. I only got one oreo shake. After they got my order it took a good 30mins to make one shake. There was nobody else there. My friends shake took only 2 mins. They total forgot about it. So I had to go ask them where it was and even after I reminded them that they forgot it took them another 5 mins to make it. I also witnessed the workers horse playing in the back. I was there around closing time and they rolled up there carpets next to where you order and they put them on the counter. I found this very unsanitary for a food business. My wife and I went to Iceberg on 1792 South 2000 West in Syracuse Utah tonight for my birthday. I walked in and there was food and trash on the floor and all the tables were dirty and napkin dispensers were empty. We reluctantly ordered anyway and waited 30 minutes and still had no food. I walked up to the counter to ask where our order was and they said they had lost the order. They took my copy of the receipt to finally make my order and never returned it. We were the only ones in the place at the time, how do you loose at order when we were the only ones there at the time. Around 10 people had come in after us and had their food and left. By this time I was mad... They came out 5 minutes later with our food. My crispy chicken sandwich was ice cold and my wife's burger had a rock hard bun. I complained again to the manager and all we got from her was, "it wasn't her fault" and she gave us a 15% off card for our next visit that has been expired for 2 years! I couldn't believe it, what horrible service, food and excuse for a business. We finally got over food, but by the time we began eating we had been there nearly an hour...A few years ago it used to be clean and nice establishment, now it is a trash filled incompetently staffed outfit! The franchise owner should be ashamed!!! I hope something is done to fix the inability to have competent staff that shows responsibility for there mistakes and keep the place clean. If I were the Owner I would of fired every last one of them, including the manager! She is the manager and should take ownership of her staff, not just give a lame excuse that she didn't do it and give us an expired coupon. I was super excited when this place was first built here, but I was not/am not impressed. All the food is fried and greasy, and not even good. The workers are all teenagers which isn't a problem, it's just slightly annoying when you're waiting in line behind a high schooler having a conversation with the cashier. The only credit I can give this place is their ice cream. It's nice and thick, and my favorite is just the plain vanilla. The "shakes" are okay, but they're gigantic and not even real shakes. They should just say "ice cream in a cup", because that's all it is. read more
