The design of the place is simple, clean, classic. Service was very quick and responsive, answered my questions without hesitation. The food, I ordered the tonkotsu ( pork bone broth Ramen) was absolutely delicious. The ramen were firm, a bit chewy in a good way, the vegetables were crisp, the pork belly was decadent. Each time I come back to this place--now three or four visits in--I'm reminded why it's become one of my go-to spots. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, and the menu pairs perfectly with the excellent house cocktails from their full bar. The ramen bowls remain the highlight. The Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen, especially, is outstanding: a rich, deeply flavorful broth, tender pork, and that comforting warmth that hits the spot on a cold New Hampshire day. The Bao Bao buns are a great way to start the meal, and the Takoyaki--light, crispy spheres filled with diced octopus and drizzled with savory sauces--adds a fun, flavorful twist to the appetizer lineup. On our latest visit, we tried the Okdol Bibimbap. The presentation was appealing and the flavors were solid, but the dish leaned a bit too heavily on the rice compared to the protein and vegetables. A slightly more generous balance of toppings would bring it right up to the level of their other standouts. About a month ago I was seated near the front door. Long story short I'm just getting over the cold I picked up shortly after. Was being forced to sit in the drafty Winter location a factor? Maybe maybe not. All I know is that if it happens again, I will leave rather than take a chance. read more

Our first visit to the new Ichi Ramen. We had a couple new experiences with our meals. Our original server was very kind and knowledgeable and the manager made a couple stops by since my entree took a few minutes longer than my wife's. While they have yet to obtain their liquor license as others have stated in reviews the place looks "unfinished" on their interior decor. Our appetizer was the Fried Potato Shrimp While we've had shrimp battered several ways, this was new to us with stringy potato wrapped shrimp server with what I would describe as a mix of sweet and sour with chili sauce. Very delicious. My wife ordered Miso Ramen. Even amounts of all the things you expect in a ramen bowl with a soft boiled egg and pork broth. While this had a great mixture of ingredients it lacked depth in flavor. I ordered Okdol Bibimbap with Beef. This came in a scrotching hot bowl with all the elements to be stirred in the bowl to make Fried rice with Bibimbap sauce served on the side. After mixing all the elements with the sauce added this was a truly great dish(new to us). Personally I believe it needed a small amount of broth added to the bowl. read more

Went on a Friday night when the restaurant was very busy. It was extremely loud and hard to have a conversation that wasn't overpowered by everyone talking around my table. The service was great and food came out quickly. I personally think the appetizers and small snacks were better than the ramen I tried. read more

I'm not typically a fan of ramen, but this is pretty tasty. I feel like the noodles are premade and prepackaged, not made in house. Also it's an additional $2 if you want to swap out the half of hard boiled egg for a fried one, which is ridiculous in my opinion as it already costs over $15 for a bowl of ramen... I also think it should include more than just 2 thin slices of meat. Otherwise it's decent. read more

Overpriced and underwhelming. No online menu available/no website - were able to order based off some half ass photos of the menu (which lacked descriptions) $9 for 2 Bao buns that shared 1 paper thin slice of pork between them, and almost no greens or sauce. We were charged an extra dollar for them to put canned garlic on the edamame. The chicken Karaage was the size of a 5 pc mcnugget, and more rubbery even. $20 for about 3 bites worth of food across 2 appetizers. The noodle bowl seemed microwaved and was lacking flavor with an off smell also. The egg was brown. We were very disappointed for the $ spent and because we were optimistic for a new place in town. read more

This place is so good! The tonkatsu ramen and the xiao long bao at Ichi tastes exactly like what I had when I visited japan. Delicious. If you like eel, the unagi don (bbq eel on sushi rice) is amazing. We also got fantastic cocktails. The service was great and we really enjoyed our bartender. read more
