My partner and I eat from this restaurant quite often as take out customers. The soup dumplings, ramen, and yaki udon are our favorites. This is our go to takeout restaurant most of the time for good reason: it's delicious and reasonably priced. We would eat in more often, but the location is pretty small and they are always packed, so there aren't many tables, and wait times can be long (all in all that's a good thing, they are so good people are more than willing to wait) read more

This place has been on my radar for some time, and jumped on a chance to try it for lunch. Note that this restaurant has a small parking lot our front, which can save you from feeding the meters. The restaurant was not too busy on arrival, but then a steady stream of diners streamed in, as well as a brisk pace of take out orders. We had a friendly and efficient waiter, who helped explain the menu a bit as it was our first visit. The menu is pan-asian, but I thought leaned heavily into Japanese dishes. So many dumpling and Bao dishes, I was tempted to just have those, but also wanted to try a noodle dish. Xiao Long Bao and soup dumplings were delicious, and I absolutely want to return to work deeper into the dumplings here. For the noodle dish, we opted for Seafood Maloney, which was an assortment of seafood with glass noodles. This dish wasn't my favorite, had a fair amount of shrimp, but not much else, and wasn't a flavor that I loved. Next time, will try a more traditional noodle dish. This place never disappoints. The spicy miso is a longtime favorite of mine--it tastes just as great as it looks, with deep, satisfying flavor. The pork dumplings were excellent as well, perfectly seared, light, and delicious. Excellent service and prompt waitstaff. The food was yummy and pretty reasonably priced - everyone in our group got funky drinks and bubble teas and everyone found something they liked. I wish they had a pescatarian or vegetarian ramen option because it looked pretty good but I unfortunately could not partake (my friends said it was very good). My first time at Hong's and I can definitely say it'll be a go-to spot for soup dumplings and wings. My party enjoyed their ramen bowls since they were flavorful and came in big portions. We were also given stuffed mango buns on the house, which were delicious and not overly sweet. The popcorn chicken was made to perfection, and the crab rangoons were just as good. This was our first visit to Hong Asian Noodle Bar. We had been meaning to go for some time and several friends gave them great reviews. We enjoyed Spicy Edamame, Soup Dumplings, Hong Tan-Tan and Tonkatsu Ramen. Everything was very flavorful, excellently prepared and very eye appealing. I love this restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious (the Garlic Noodle Soup is my favorite), and the service is helpful and friendly. They have great cocktails (the lychee martini is delicious) and the food is well priced. Hong is a great spot for delicious, fresh japanese food. When we arrived a few minutes after they opened on Sunday, the boba wasn't quite ready because they make it fresh every day. The soup dumplings were a little light on soup but other than that, everything was so flavorful and satisfying. The space is somewhat small so plan to come early or be ready for a wait. There's also a small parking lot in front of the restaurant, if you can find a spot there, try to back into it. The food was incredible. They have colossal portions and yet I could not stop eating the broth. The noodle bowl I had was outstanding and the ingredients were beautifully prepared. The flavors were exceptional and remained that way throughout the entire experience. The staff were welcoming and super attentive during our visit. The decor was beautiful from the lights to the room dividers and the ambiance and kitchen sounds totally made the experience feel more natural. I always love stopping by. And, sometimes, if you arrive at an odd time like 3:00 pm, you won't need to wait for a table. The spicy miso is extraordinary. I took half of it home, added a couple of hard boiled eggs, and had it for breakfast. Delicious!! Their spicy chicken app is so good that I get it every time. First, let me apologize for no pictures. I did not have my phone with me. Last night the better half and I decided to go to Dover for some soup dumplings. We had not been to Hong Asian Noodle Bar (HANB) for well over a year. Do not ask me why! We have always loved this place for their soup dumplings ... which are above average and very tasty. But they are a little thicker skinned than those you get in China. Also they do not provide enough ginger and miss on soy and black vinegar as well. But they are solid for this area of the country. But when we got there, the place was packed! 30 minute wait to get a table! And they had their full menu, something that NEVER happened all the other times we were there. So I got the tan tan ramen ... essentially spicy ground pork in a pork broth with ramen, scallions, ginger, bok choy and an egg. It was so damn good I had to just stop and really let it sink in how good this was. I would have liked to add a little spice, but hell, this was a 5 star dish hands down. Add a couple ice cold Sapporo's and you have a perfect meal. We will be going back soon ... pics to come. I do not recall another restaurant that has dramatically improved as much as HANB. Two adults and two children enjoyed late afternoon meal. Everything was absolutely delicious. The servings were generous, enough "school lunch" the next day. Really came here to say that the server, a one woman act, was incredible. She anticipated what kids would like and answered all questions. Juggled it all with grace. Such a great find on our road trip back from Maine. This place totally hit the spot and didn't disappoint. The food is delicious and the only hard part is that there are so many great options. Boba was fantastic and portions are big. My favorite was the crab and the pork dumplings. The gyoza was also really good. The service was excellent and there is tons of seating for any sized group. Friendly and efficient staff served a fantastic dish called Pai Huang Gua delicious cucumbers topped with ground chili crisp and fresh herbs, we added a side of rice. Great stop for ramen in Dover! We are a bit of ramen snobs as my husband has spent a lot of time in Japan for work. We always are comparing back to Japan. This place didn't disappoint! The spicy miso was EXTREMELY spicy. I like heat but it was more than what was needed in my opinion. They were out of tonkatsu which was a bummer. The gyoza were delicious! They also made some great drinks. They did well with our toddler. It's a smaller place so I wouldn't recommend bringing a huge group or some wild children.
