The fries are nicely seasoned and pair well with the entrees. Well priced for the size and quality of food. We love going here to indulge in Asian inspired fried chicken dishes! The staff are friendly and space is clean. Only couple reasons why they're 4 stars instead of 5 - 1) the food takes a while since it's made fresh to order. when e we went the other day, we were only one of free tables for an early lunch & had to wait 25+ mins for our popcorn chicken bowls; 2) there's only 1 small restroom. Otherwise highly recommend, and for the reasons stated above maybe consider ordering ahead for takeout!

Not wheel chair accessible, but there is outdoor seating. Seating is size accessible. However, it's a bit tight to maneuver through. Hostess/bartender/server was really lovely as well! LOVED THE MOCKTAIL menu & taste. I got the basil mule. The katsu was delicious and fried well. I also liked the seasoning on the fries. The other chicken was missing something taste wise, but still good. Will definitely be back to try something else!

We went to Gopchang Story on a Saturday evening and were a little surprised it wasn't more crowded…read more It was clear, though, that those who were there knew exactly what they came for. There was a strong Korean presence, which always feels like a good sign when you're looking for something authentic and a bit outside the norm. I was especially excited to try gopchang (grilled intestines), and it ended up being both new and oddly familiar. The texture is definitely different, but not off-putting at all. When you think about it, sausage comes from similar ingredients, so it's not as foreign as it might sound. Having had sweetbreads and offals before, some of the flavor notes felt recognizable, which made it easier to appreciate. Other items, like the thin-sliced brisket, were more familiar and just as enjoyable. Everything we had was fresh and well-prepared. The space itself is clean, bright, and welcoming, with K-pop videos playing and a solid selection of Korean drinks like soju and Milkis to round things out. The side dishes were creative and accessible, including corn cheese, steamed eggs, house salad, and japchae noodles. The egg fried rice was excellent as well, and a great complement to the meats. Our group ranged from adventurous to more cautious eaters, and everyone genuinely enjoyed the experience. Cooking at the table took a minute to get used to, but it was part of the fun and easy to pick up. Service was friendly and helpful throughout. The ventilation was very good and not overly smoky, which can sometimes be an issue at Korean BBQ spots. It is a bit on the pricier side, but for a special occasion or a night out to try something new, it felt justified. This works well either as a fun date night or with a small group so you can try a variety of dishes. Even dessert was a highlight, creative and well executed. This is the kind of place that feels like a special night out, and we would absolutely go back.

I walked into a space that is small and moody, the kind of room that feels lived in rather than designed for a particular aesthetic, and it suited the casual neighborhood feel of the surrounding area. The hot stone bibimbap is the dish that comes up most consistently and with the most enthusiasm. I ordered it and the stone bowl arrived sizzling. The rice along the bottom edges got crispy against the heat in a way that changed the texture and flavor of the whole dish as I ate through it. The beef and mushroom tofu versions are both well executed, and the egg on top finished the bowl correctly. The katsu is a solid option for anyone coming in looking for something more straightforward. I tried it and the breading was crispy while the cutlet inside stayed tender, and the sauce ratio was handled well rather than drowning what was underneath. The gyoza, japchae, seafood pancakes, and yaki soba fill out a menu that covers enough ground to satisfy a table with different preferences. Side dishes are served in modest portions, which was the main point of friction for me since I am used to more generous banchan. Food came out at a good pace and arrived hot. For Korean and Japanese comfort food in Providence, Den Den is a reliable and genuinely satisfying stop.

Sun & Moon is not bad if you know what to get. I've only been here twice and I've gotten some items…read morethat are good and some that are not as good. First of all, Sun & Moon feels like a home-y Korean restaurant. The owners are Korean and I'd come here when I crave Korean food. I will caveat that it's not necessarily the best Korean food I've ever had, but it's probably the most authentic you'd be able to get in Providence. The vegetable pancake was surprisingly really good - crispy around the edges, right amount of veggie to it. This one I would recommend - it's legit. I've also had the knife cut noodles which is pretty good, but different than the kind I normally get at other Korean restaurants -this one is more seafood forward which is usually not the case at other Korean restaurants. The spicy rice cakes were a bit mid - I would skip out on them next time. The rice cakes didn't have a good chewy texture and they were quite pricy too. The tonkatsu was actually pretty good, so when I got the tonkatsu udon, I was expecting that too be good as well, but the udon was way too salty and had too much MSG flavor, so I couldn't finish it. Overall, cute little place to come when craving Korean food. Menu is huge and not everything is a hit on the menu, but if you know what to order, you'll hit your craving. Parking is street only!

Checked in if we needed any help or menu orders. Great selections and options to choose from. Authentic flavors. The setup now has the majority of meats, veggies and sides in the back area where it's self serve - grab as much or as little as you want, this is def the more preferred option for me. We opted for just KBBQ and no hotpot as the hotpot burners aren't built into the tables so there would have to be burner setup placed on the table which would just crowd the space in my opinion. They also have several appy type options to order as well to accompany the meal. The apps can be ordered by scanning the QR code on the table that will directly connect to your check. My fave app was the fried dumpling and for meat options, I absolutely love the pork cheek - I like to really cook it down as it's pretty fatty but it's deliciousness in my belly. The pork belly, calamari and bulgogi chicken were pretty good as well. We really enjoyed our visit and our waitress was great, super attention and friendly. The only downside is that with having to cook your own food, anything that is seasoned will cook and smell to high heavens on your clothes - but so worth it. Can't wait to come back.

The meal starts with miso soup & salad with ginger dressing. The soup always comes out piping hot & has great flavor. I love a good ginger dressing & this one has some zing. The Sushi & Sashimi Combo is a chef's selection of 5 pieces of nigiri, 5 pieces of sashimi & either a California roll or salmon avocado roll. Since we ordered two of the combos, we went with one of both rolls. If you like California rolls, this is the one you want. I personally judge a sushi restaurant on the quality of the salmon avocado roll. Is the salmon bright in color, buttery mouthfeel & firm? Is the avocado soft & perfectly "avocado green" in color? YAAASSSSS to both! We also ordered a negihama maki - yellowtail & scallions roll. It is a guilty pleasure & one of my favorite rolls in all sushi-land! Even though Sura was a bit busy, the food came out in good time & always with a smile! NOM NOM NOM #YUM
