Emerald was chipped while in their possession. (The store manager after his inspection said the stones were "perfect" that they just needed polished up.) I have the receipt where it was not damaged. 5) The other ring the shank was destroyed and has to be replaced. 6) Charged $69/ring for resizing instead of the quoted $57. 7) Manager would not get off the call from his boyfriend to service us. I could go on and on... I Sent a letter to the corporate office...they called me back and was all apologetic...despite my troubles at that time all I wanted was to be refunded the $69 that they charged my for one of the rings. They said they wanted to get the store manager's version... They called back a couple days later and and it sounded more like they were trying to cover themselves for a lawsuit rather than satisfying a customer.. They told me that we signed a receipt stating that the ring was in good condition...if they have one it is a forgery!!!!! Bottom line no refund...now I want the costs of the repairs and the emerald!!!! I plan to sue them in open court... STAY AWAY FROM SAMUEL'S JEWELERS...not to mention we saved over $2500 on our wedding set at another competitor...same exact ring...in fact the diamond was a higher grade.
