Replaced my screen on Feb 7th. No issues. Daughter dropped screen, what would have been minor drop, but it broke the screen again. Came in on March 6th and was replaced under their 30 day warranty for $80. Dog ATE the phone, broke the screen, came back in on April 1st. Said they would cover it under the warranty for $100. After I brought it to their attention that the last time it was covered for $80, they said "oops, ok $80 then". Two days later it stopped charging. Went to another place (Cellaris, Quakerbrigade -- AWESOME) they let me know that my charging port was damaged as well as some other issues. I went here after I shattered my phone screen very badly at work. The people who work there are very friendly, and they had my phone ready after 40 minutes. They were a little expensive but they offered to fix my camera as well, which also had problems because of the fracture. All in all, they did a great job, and I will definitely go there again if my phone decides to catapult its way out of my pocket. read more

Customer service is BEYOND TERRIBLE. Brought my IPhone in to get the broken screen fixed and it was only charging with one charger so it was turning on. Waited 5 hours for it even though they quoted 2 hours and when I got back they informed me they couldn't fix it because it had water damage and when I picked it up it wasn't turning on AT ALL anymore and told me they couldn't do anything. My son broke the screen of his new iPhone 5 & had leave for Europe in the afternoon, I went to this place & they were amazingly busy I requested that my situation does not allow me to wait in line. They accommodated my request & I was little skeptical so I was there all the time they were working on my phone. They are open kiosk it's not that they have a back room where they take the phone & you are not sure what is happening. These people were nice & owner was more courteous than the kids he had helping him out & they didn't had any problem me looking at what is happening with my phone. Quick service at reasonable prices. This is my go to place to repair my phone. They can usually fix a cracked screen within an hour. It's located in the mall so you can walk around in the mall while waiting for your phone. They do more then just fixing cracked screens. I have been to the store several times. They offer a great service over the cost of a new device. Unfortunately, the last couple times trying to go there, the customer service skills are completely lacking. They always have staff on for fixing apple products, however limited staffing for repairing samsung. I have tried to call bear, to see if a Samsung repair person is working, before driving there. They NEVER answer their phone. I was told by one of their employees the other day, that they do not have enough help to answer the phone. My most recent experience, I went there Friday evening to get her phone fixed. They advised me they could not fix it that same day, but I could bring it back on Saturday. When I went on Saturday, I was told they had no Samsung person working. Only after I question them further, did I find out they would not have a Samsung person working until Monday. I question them, as to why they told me on Friday to come back Saturday, if they weren't going to have a Samsung person working. The girl had no idea. She advised me I could text the owner, and that he would call me right away, if I wanted to discuss my concerns. Guess that text message goes with all the voicemail messages people leave them, nowhere. Never heard from him. All of this prompted me to do some research online to find another repair facility, perhaps one that's a little more compenent with customer service. I quickly found out that this place charges way too much money for the service. Free 15 minute ride, I was able to pay $64 for the same service at this facility wanted to charge me $120. They get one star on this review, because you can't give them anything less. However rest assured I will not be visiting them again. read more

Dropped my iphone xr in the parking lot at work. Called around and had a problem trying to locate someone who could repair my home asap. My friend used iCity Repair in the past so I gave them a try. i had brought my phone there since i dropped it and it shattered, they fixed it and told me that if something else happened, they'll fixed it for free. well a month later, lines started going on my phone and it would glitch to the point where it would turn on and off. i went there WITH my reciept from last time to prove that i was there before and so i could get it fixed for free. as they fixed it, the worker told the guy talking to me to charge me extra which obviously pissed me off. we had an arguement over it and after an hour they gave me my phone as i refused to pay. a good week later my phone stopped working, thanks lol. read more

I had a horrible experience with this customer service with (who i came to find out when i came on yelp) the OWNER on the date of august 2nd at the time 2:45, was unprofessional and knew nothing about sales, when things weren't going his way he resorted to calling me unnecessary insulting names. After that he then proceeded to swipe me off to the side and told me to "make up my mind" and proceeded to help other customers to see if he can scam them because he clearly wasn't gonna scam me. This manager was condescending from the very start when speaking to me, and undermined me by age. I am a returning customer so I was expecting better service and treatment than this especially since I told him multiple times that I was a returning customer. Due to me being a returning customer I received a coupon for 10 dollars off of my next repair. After I talked him down to a price and told him about my coupon, he (a grown man) got visibly angry at me and started mocking me by calling me (an 18 year old) "shady" for not telling him about having the coupon from the very start thus making him unable to scam me even more if he were to have this knowledge. this business should not give out coupons if they are not going to honor them under any circumstances and should put in the FINE PRINT that coupons are ONLY FOR PEOPLE THAT ARE GOING TO ACCEPT A NON NEGOTIABLE PRICE and not give them out in the first place. These guys are the worst, They charged me $75 dollars to change a screen for my Ipod touch, and I had to return it 3 times for them to fix it again and again, only second time they told me the "pins" in my Ipod are loose and I have to live with the fact the screen is not attached! The most convenient and helpful service anywhere-I had broken the screen on my iphone and called the insurance service who told me I had to go to verizon (so much for insurance :/). Then I went to Verizon at the Commons and the rep looked completely confused and frazzled and directed me to icity...I am so glad he did! The replacement screen was actually cheaper than going through insurance AND it took less than an hour! The representatives are super helpful and knowledgeable-Taylor took the time to answer all of my questions and was incredibly friendly and really knew her stuff...seriously everyone needs to know about this place :) read more

BEWARE Brought in my sons retina iPad with a cracked screen for repair. After the repair there are horizontal lines visible on the screen. The technician explained that this is because they do not use authentic Apple parts and that these lines are frequently visible on the after market screens that iCity uses. Next I spoke with Ian, the owner. He assured me that they would refund my money and put the original broken Apple screen back on so I could take it to Apple for proper repair. Here's where it gets interesting. Instead of replacing the oem part as Ian had promised, he instructed his employees to call mall security to have me removed. When security arrived, the iCity employees lied to them saying that I was irate, threatening, etc. That's when I calmly removed my iPhone and showed the security guards that I had been recording the incident. At that point, security knew that the employee was lying and encouraged me to file a formal complaint with the mall customer service department, which I did. However, my experience was so horrible that I felt I needed to write this review so that others could avoid similar issues. read more

Brought my iPhone 4 in a while back, I dropped it and cracked the front screen. I looked on their Instagram and knew exactly what I wanted done. So I went in and told them I wanted this on the front and this on the back. And they said we don't have that. And I was like um okay. What about this on the front and this on the back? We don't have that. Okaaaayyy.. Then again I chose something else, they didn't have it. So I said what DO you have? And then they said we have a white front and so and so has that back in his van, if you come back tomorrow we can put it on. And I said okay, so I got the front put on that they had and then paid for both the front and back and then came back the next day. They didn't have the back they told me they had, it turns out it wasn't in his van. So they gave me a glow in the dark back, which is supposedly all they had. In my opinion, that was really annoying. I paid over $100, could've got a brand new iPhone, didn't even get the color combo I wanted, the front was a white iPhone 4 screen that eventually turned a off white yellow color which real white iPhone screens definitely don't do. It was just such a waste. The screens were both so thick, thicker then the original iPhone screens, and it made my iPhone SO heavy then regular iphone 4's. Never again will I get anything done there, I think it's a waste and too expensive. read more
