Their optometrist (who I saw two times and was late 40 minutes for my appt) did not know what the issue was. I spoke to another optometrist at a different company recently and he explained why I was having issues with my glasses. The optometrist at View Optical and the staff who I saw do NOT know how to handle progressive lenses. After my second appt with the optometrist, she sent me to a front office staff, and said he would help me resolve the issue. Joe tells me I have to select a smaller frame. I asked him how small, and he tells me he has to see it on my face??? Really??? There are sizes on the eyeglass frames! After trying on multiple frames and being told they were not small enough, Joe chose a frame and tells me it's the right size. He took it back to the optometrist who said it was STILL too big! The optometrist told me she would call the lab manager to get his opinion. Then I find out I have to come back AGAIN to meet with the lab manager! I was DONE at that point, but was told I had to meet with the lab manager first before I could receive a refund! I finally received a call from the lab manager (Joseph) and he said he understood my issue. I asked for a complete refund. It took nearly a month and a half, and hours of wasted time since ordering my glasses to get my money back. This review is for all who wear progressive lenses. Find a place where they guide you on the proper size frame to buy. A place where the optometrist understands how progressive prescriptions affect your vision and avoid a lot of frustration and wasted time.

Even though I had no appointment, they still helped me out when I came in. Service was great. I signed a quick waiver. No charge! In less than 15 mins, Antonio, Genna, Noah and Brandon put a new screw in for me. They did a small file/cut to smooth out one of the edges for a more clean closer fit. Looks professional and my mom can't tell the difference. Thank you so much! I am super grateful! I'll definitely recommend Bella Eye Care to local friends :)

She took extra time to ensure I fully understood my condition and the possible treatment options. She also examined our 8-year-old daughter and was wonderful with her. Our daughter genuinely enjoyed her eye appointment! The only downside was the limited selection of eyeglass frames. The only luxury brand they carried was Gucci, and even that had very few options. Tri-City Optometry is the gold standard for bad customer service…read more This review is written on behalf of my sister, who is hesitant to post under her own name because she recently purchased an expensive pair of glasses here and is worried about possible issues or retaliation if she needs repairs in the coming year. Dr. Shital Chatwani rushes through the appointment, speaks down to the patient, does not answer questions clearly, and becomes visibly impatient when questions are asked. The entire interaction felt less like a medical appointment and the clear priority seemed to be getting the patient out quickly and into ordering expensive glasses, rather than taking time to explain things or address concerns. It honestly felt like dealing with a businessperson more than a doctor. Unfortunately, the poor experience did not stop with the doctor. The overall leadership and culture of this office seems weak, and it shows in the behavior of the staff. There are many employees walking around, yet when customers have questions, they often say "I'm busy" and walk away without offering to find someone else to help. In a professional practice, you would expect at least a basic effort to redirect you to another staff member. That simply does not happen here. The staff appear selectively nice to people they are trying to secure business from but otherwise the service is consistently rude, rushed, and unhelpful. The overall attitude is 'take it or leave it.' Even when there is no problem, you are treated with disregard. If there is a problem, I would not trust this office to handle it with care or professionalism. There are many excellent optometrists who accept VSP and other insurance plans. I strongly encourage people to look elsewhere and consciously choose to support a practice that actually respects its patients.
