So, I informed her that it's playing - she wants to go. Arrived for the 2pm showing (only $5.75ea, great deal) - picked out our seats and went in. We are the only ones in this Theater - it's like a Private Showing and that's really cool. Our Seats (love those lounges) are in the middle of the theater and we both set them back as far as they would go - nice and comfy - but the do have a strong sweaty odor (that's bad). Raised up the Arm Rest and saw at least 60+ Popcorn under the Arm Rest. Placed it back down and relocated out seats. These seats also have that bad odor but no Popcorn under the Arm Rest. Enjoyed the movie but hated the odor in the Theater. When the movie was over I was going to raise up all the other Arm Rest but decided not too because the Lounges had that bad odor. I did raise up the one where I found the Old Popcorn. Hopefully they will clean this - and the other Theaters - better. We are not going back for several months because they don't clean very well.

I love movie theater popcorn! All the theaters in town are the same price, same movies, same high price concession stand. So AYCE popcorn gets my vote! And yes, I can eat a lot of popcorn! Atmosphere: Great new theater. Plenty of options for each show. Several different options for viewing whether you are a 3D fan or not. If u aren't into 3D then u can watch the movie in a regular old theater. If u like the best audio and video experience without 3D, u can watch it in XD. And if u like a little adventure but still not in 3D then u can sit in a DBox seat. Each of these options are available in 3D as well if that is your style. The 2 greatest features of this theater however are the reserved seating and the reclining seats. It is so nice not to have to show up for your show an hour or 2 early in order to get those prime seats right in the middle. Now u just pick your seats online and u r good to go. The reclining seats are just as amazing. Soooo much better than plain Jane. The theater temperatures have been spot on at every visit so far as well. I usually have to wear a hoodie to stay warm. Now just a long sleeve tee will do it. 2 Stars Food: not such a big candy selection but they make up for it in everything else. In a big way. Great popcorn. They have the awesome drink machines that u can choose hundreds of options from. Huge Icees. They also offer lots of snack foods like peanuts and chips. Instead, I walked into what felt like a mall on tax‑free weekend meaning it was lively, loud, and full of folks with the same idea. Thankfully, I'd already bought my tickets through Fandango, so I was able to breeze past the ticket line like a dream only to be snatched back into reality when it came to the concession line! Now, the concession line... that's where the plot twist happened. One single‑file line moving slower than traffic on a Monday morning. I took one look, decided my peace was worth more than popcorn, and headed straight to my seat. Like a bad Monday morning, I decided I'll just go in later for the popcorn. The auditorium itself was clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. But then I met the D‑BOX seats...the $20‑per‑person motion seats I'd splurged on for both me and my husband. Let's just say they looked a little "experienced". Worn enough to make me pause and have a quick internal conversation with the Lord praying that I didn't leave with anything that I didn't come with. Luckily though, I did go prepared in long sleeves and pants. But here's the surprise: while those seats looked like they had been around the block more than a few good ole times, they WORKED like they understood the assignment. Once the movie started, they shook, tilted, and rumbled. It felt like a mini amusement‑park ride, and honestly, it made the movie even better. I've gone to the Odeon twice now in the last couple of years. This old style theater has been…read morerenovated into a working movie theater again and I'm glad for it. Mason is only about 20 miles from Brady so it's the closest place to catch a current release. They show one movie a week, typically one showing a day on Thurs-Mon. They also do some special shows and music acts when they can. You don't have to bring your own chairs anymore as there are comfortable sliding theater seats, and the AC works great on a warm Texas summer day. I saw that they want to raise money to get nice curtaining for it next, with greater ambitions leading to putting a balcony with more seating in later. Please consider giving them your support!
