The Odeon is a classic. Single-screen theatre that actually shows current films. The concession prices are ridiculously cheap.

This restaurant was absolutely fabulous, and the food was outstanding. We ordered the ribeyes,…read morefilet, and chicken, and every dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. For an appetizer, we had the stuffed peppers with brisket, and they were incredible. I highly recommend ordering them! The drinks were just as impressive. We enjoyed an Old Fashioned, a whiskey and Coke, and a couple of the specialty cocktails, all of which were excellent. The atmosphere was amazing, creating a great dining experience from start to finish. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and provided exceptional service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back.

First course was crab lobster cakes. They looked over cooked but tasted pretty good. Next I had the French onion soup. It smelled of burnt cheese when they put it in front of me. But once I got passed that, the souo was good. Hubby enjoyed his cesar salad. I ordered surf and turf with risoto and broccolini. The bacon wrapped shrimp was also very charred and steak was very very salty. It was however cooked to order. If you like a lot of salt then you may like it. The risoto and broccolini were good. Hubbys rib eye was rare (mooing) just like he likes it. He enjoyed the seasonal vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. Desert is made to order so it took about 30 minutes after order to get it. But it was worth it! The wild blueberry pie was the best part of the meal. It was a large handpie stuffed with these flavorful wild blueberries and ice cream on the side. We were full but managed to eat the whole thing! 8'oclock is when the music starts in the saloon. If you want a nice quiet romantic dinner then definitely go before 8. The music was very loud. In the saloon it was way too loud so we didn't stay for the band.

This year was mine to plan and we had a GREAT time! We LOVED the cabin and its proximity to Main Street. Beautiful cabins / bungalows, the owners and staff onsite were very nice, friendly and helpful…read more The restaurant onsite is nice, decent food, good wine/prosecco list, friendly staff ... when we had questions about anything, owners, staff were quick to respond and it was only 2 blocks away from Main Street, Fredricksburg.... * Only recommendations: would recommend about putting a couple air fresheners (i.e. plug-ins, etc), in some spaces... to help with the old wood smell, some areas gave a strong moldy smell, which is normal for old wood. I understand that the cabins are old, and authentic but it would help a little. I would also recommend a little better dusting, around window sills, and windows/curtains, a fair amount of dust that came off, every time we closed the blinds or pulled the curtains. That is the only reason I rated it a 4 instead of 5.
