New playgrounds are always calling my name and this one didn't skip a beat! Owner Brian is really nice and welcomed me into the big open space, which is currently under construction, but coming along nicely. This facility is going to be amazing when they open up to the public. This gym is going to be LIT!! The restrooms will have shower stalls for men and women (2 each, 1 of which is ADA accessible). There are lockers for you to use while you're working out. The studio had hygiene items for emergencies for its members and low and behold there it was...... a giant can of aerosol deodorant. I proceeded to hot box the entire restroom so that I could bathe in the sweet smell of "autumn dusk" Anyways long story short it made me smell a little better and I really appreciate their thoughtfulness. The coaches also come around to correct form if needed. What I love most is walking in and being greeted by the coaches, they all take the time to remember everyone's name. Yesterday was my 100th class with F45, I love that they celebrate your milestones with you! Even got the most thoughtful card from Coach Starla! Everyone is amazing! My first experience with Boombox was when I had left my previous gym in 2016 as a newer level 1 coach and Eric was quick to welcome me to the Boombox family. It took one drop-in for me to know that BMBX was the right spot for me and to know I was in good hands. Eric and I have been homies ever since, and to this day I feel so welcomed every chance I get to drop in. My point is, if you're looking for a gym try this one. It's a great atmosphere and very family oriented. My kids are always welcome and they love coming, too. I've never been one to work out consistently until I started coming here. If you value strong, steady leadership, certified coaches, and a healthy community, I'd choose another gym. The coaches and owners who held the community together are gone. Right now, I can't recommend CFIV--and leaving is one of the most disappointing decisions I've had to make. For a long time, this gym was a second home: coaches who cared, programming that made you better, and a culture where people were genuinely friends and supported each other. I recommended it without hesitation for years and felt proud to call it my home gym. Then everything changed--fast. What used to feel welcoming started to feel akward. Communication went from clear and respectful to vague, inconsistent, and often reactive. Policies seemed to shift depending on who you were, and concerns that members raised were brushed off or met with defensiveness instead of accountability. Dozens of longtime members left. Yet ownership tried to dismiss and downplay significant concerns. Marketing emails, texts, and social media posts being sent out right now pretend like there is a robust community at CFIV. Don't be fooled. There isn't. The large and tight-knit community no longer exists. The hardest part is that none of this felt unavoidable. It felt like the community was collateral damage. The drama seeped into day-to-day operations--impacting scheduling, coaching consistency, and how members were treated. The "we're all in this together" vibe that made this place special was gone almost overnight. I'm not writing this to be petty or to stir anything up. I'm writing it because I truly cared about this gym and the people in it, and I'm genuinely sad it came to this. If you're new to CrossFit and looking for a community , you wont find it here. As long as the current ownership is involved, I will not be returning -- along with many of the former members.

I have a membership at, and frequent Powerhouse gym. Today we showed up to EOS located on Murrieta Hot Springs Road in Murrieta, Ca. The lady at the front desk at EOS required me to wait for another associate to check me in. Mind you this is not the first time that we have went to EOS in the last two weeks. We waited ten minutes for the other associate and left before being seen. My girlfriend and I had an hour together to workout and spend some quality time. Waiting 10 minutes and not be seen at a gym is horrible, because you expect to go there and get your workout in and leave. For many people time is money and wasting time their time is rude and unprofessional. Members and their guest should not have to wait around for an associate to come do a sales pitch and try to get you to sign up. The person at the front desk should have the waiver form on a tablet, we are in 2026. Anyone paying the higher membership fee to access any EOS and have a guest pass should not have to wait for a sales pitch. If I was new to the area and had intentions to join a gym, EOS management would have lost my business. Allow the patron to quickly sign the waiver to go workout. If they like the gym, they will sign up because the member that brought them would help sell the gym membership for you. And if you keep a good vibe in your gym, that would also sell your membership. Quit wasting people's time and encourage a great workout.
