    The quote

    Went to iconic 2 weeks ago for an oil change and to see what they found wrong with my vehicle to compare it to the dealership. Needed water pump, brakes, control arm and joints and struts, he wrote everything down, numbered by importance and a total. So i took out a loan to get the work done, when I went back a week later to schedule an apt, told him I want everything done, he looked at the quote and started punching in numbers, I asked him a question, he said, im trying to figure out how I came up with that quote. After he said he'll do it at the cost he quoted me, I dropped it off, and a half hour later he calls, says I need shocks and he will cut me a deal on labor to do the shocks and struts at the same time, I said no, just do what was on the paperwork. He told me they recommend to do the shocks at 150 thousand miles, I asked, how bad are the shocks, he wouldn't answer, just said they recomend them done at 150, I still said no. Next day I picked my car up, and noticed my front end still seemed the same, when I got to Walmart I looked at the receipt and no struts, I called he tried to convince me I said no on the struts, I said no to the shocks. He messed up on his quote, tried to make me look like I didn't understand, but yet I have it on a receipt and he stated, I can't figure out how I gave you that quote. If he would of said, I made a mistake, can we work this out, i know people make mistakes, I do also, but to make it out that I was the one that misunderstood and to try and add more to compensate for the quote that was given, that's messed up.

    I had an appointment scheduled for four new tires. After I had sat down and started reading my book Abe came out and told me to come out and look at something. He said he was poking around and he found my boot on my rack and pinion steering was bloated and needed service and he admitted he poked a hole in the boot and it was draining out fluid onto the ground. It was probably a teaspoon or less but the fact of the matter is he admittedly poked a hole in my boot and I didn't ask for that service I am appalled that he won't even pay for half the replacement of my boot. There was no hole and no leaking outside of this boot but he had a poking tool in his hand and he kept poking a hole in the boot as I was listening to him explain why he did it. He kept saying I don't think you understand ma'am, there is a leak into this boot and you would have had problems down the road. I was quite appalled when he said he would not be paying for any of the repairs on this boot. BEWARE OF THE MECHANICS THAT GO POKING AROUND ON THEIR OWN AND START TO MAKE ISSUES WORSE THAN THEY ALREADY WERE WHEN YOU HAVE GONE IN FOR ONE TIRE SERVICE AND COME OUT WITH RACK AND PINION BOOT HOLES. I'M ABSOLUTELY APPALLED AND IN MY 59 YEARS I HAVE NEVER EVER SEEN A MECHANIC ADMITTINGLY TELL ME HE POKED A HOLE IN MY BOOT. I WOULD TAKE HIM TO COURT BUT THEY'RE SMALL FAMILY OWNED LOCALLY AND IT WOULD BE SMALL CLAIMS COURT...

    My wife got home from work and said her tire was low. Sure enough the back tire had a nail in it. I brought it to Iconic and they took care of me really fast. Half hour before closing and who wants to deal with a customer, these people do. Now I don't have to worry about my wife driving to work in the morning. Thanks so much for the fast friendly service! This place has just earned our families business!!

    Iconic Tire in Maricopa is honest, fast, and reliable. I recently needed work on my truck that the dealer quoted me almost $2,000 to complete. I called Iconic and they were able to complete the same work plus additional repairs needed for almost half of the dealer quote. Best of all they were upfront, explained the process and completed the work the same day! Thank you Kevin for helping me and showing me that there are still honest repair shops out there that care about their customers.

Even though my original Firestone tires have been discontinued, the store has a different set that was close to the all season tires I bought in 2017. So a couple of things here: 2017 is a LONG time to drive on any tires. I don't drive a lot but the Arizona heat is brutal. The fact they survived this long is an impressive testament to Firestone's quality. Also, I received a veteran's discount, which I really appreciate. Mike and John were both wonderful professional, kind, and funny. I enjoyed the service, and I have no complaints. Oh, but something important to note: my father in law came with me to put these tires on his line of credit (so I can pay him back), and his APR went up to 39%. If you're someone who lives off credit cards right now to make ends meet, I'd recommend thinking a bit before applying for that credit card. I don't feel 39% is worth the value, even if you do need this work done. Aside from all that though, this was still a 5/5 star experience.

My appointment was scheduled for 11:00, and when I arrived, I was told it would take an hour. How does a simple muffler inspection take an hour, especially when I had a scheduled appointment? If you can't honor appointment times, don't schedule them. Save yourself the time and frustration -- I recommend finding another shop

    My testimony is 100% truthful with proof and I am willing to go to court to substantiate my claims…read more Tommy charged for parts and work he never did on my vehicle. Sounds like an old school auto repair scam? Indeed. He claimed to have replaced 2 catalytic converters and replace 6 spark plugs on my van. I had asked him personally if he worked on my car and he said he did. The van still had problems and I had suspicions of his work. I decided to pay Firestone to examine the car to see if the work was done. Lo and behold one of the catalytic converter is my old original stock piece. The tune up for the back 3 cyclinder was not done. After confronting Tommys with the scam, he agrees to pay back for the work not done and told me to pick up a check since he claimed he doesnt know how to do refund for credit card payment. When I came to pick up the check the business was closed early and the shop was closed the next few days. I did not hear back from him after that. I am taking all legal means available until compensation has been made by Tommys diagnostic. Bringing dishonesty back to auto repair should be his tagline. Latest Update: I had also paid him to replace fuel pump which he charged $548 and claimed that this is an expensive job since the gas tank had to be pulled down. I had just got a confirmation from a third party that there are no marks on tank bolts, straps or hose indicating recent removal. Another fraud that will be reported

Check your battery, he likes to steal them and swap out with old ones. Have someone double check that Tommy did all the work promised. He does not!!

From The Best Car Buying Experience - To The Absolute Worst! A MUST READ for anyone considering buying a vehicle from these people This past Saturday, I drove all the way from far East Mesa to Maricopa not just for a destination vehicle but for a small town owner/operator, skip the big dealer, no-hassle car buying experience. The reviews online for this dealership were a dominating factor in this decision, and I arrived at Maricopa Auto Outlet expecting the best car-buying experience ever! When I arrived, I was a bit disappointed to find that the high-end luxury Lexus Sports Car I was there to purchase was not in any shape to be sold or delivered, though it had been sitting on the lot for 9-months! The tires were mis-matched and irregularly worn, the brakes were worn to the point of being unsafe, the engine compartment was filthy, and it only had one smart key. After a test drive, I went in the office to meet with Roman and discuss the transaction. I mentioned my concerns to him, he inspected the vehicle and agreed that all I had listed should be addressed before delivery. At this point, I made him a fair offer to take the vehicle immediately as it sat. Roman declined, saying he would take care of the pre-delivery maintenance items and wanted to keep the vehicle at the full asking price. I agreed to this only under the stipulation that ALL parts and tires met OEM standards and that the tires needed to be at least a 60k mile tire. To which Roman answered "that's fine" and adds these items to a "WE OWE" form in the deal. We come to terms on my trade value and Roman reaches across the desk to shake my hand to seal the deal! PLEASE READ ON: Once the paperwork is completed we agree that they will deliver the car to me in Mesa on Tuesday once all of the work is done. I agree and leave. A bit later in the day, I ask Roman by email to please let me know what kind of tires he puts on the vehicle and provided him with the OEM specs. He later replies with a photo of a receipt from Discount Tires asking me if this is ok. Upon examining the receipt, it clearly states: "The tire you have chosed is different from the original equipment provided with your vehicle and may change its handling or stability characteristics". I looked the tire up by model to see that Roman has selected the least expensive tire that will fit that vehicle! (NOT OEM AS AGREED) Ultimately, I am paying for the tires and the vehicle, and I have a reasonable right to receive the correct tires! When I asked Roman if he could equitably replace these with the correct tires, he explodes! Roman then replies to me to inform me that our deal is unwound and that he is cancelling the transaction. After some back and forth communication to resolve the situation, I ultimately I get this from him: "We do not want you as a customer, we do not want your business. Do not contact us in any way. You are not welcome here either. Do not show up. If you show up, we will charge you with trespassing as this message states. Further message will be treated as harassment. Any deception to our business will be treated right back to you" ALL OF THIS BECAUSE THEY BOUGHT THE WRONG TIRES AND REFUSED TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE! IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BUYING HERE - RE THINK IT!
