I went for annual check up with X-rays and cleaning. Staff was very courteous. The facility is clean and has all modern equipment. Dr Doan reviewed the X-rays and pictures with me. The cleaning used the high pressure water method which I think is the best. I asked about uneveness of my 2 front teeth from years of grinding. This might take long, but here it goes. I have been putting it off going to the dentist to get my teeth fixed. I just never had a good feeling about the ones I went too. Well I said, enough is enough. I finally made the appointment. So I went to my first one appointment. The greeting was okay, but let me tell you once I got back into the chair and talked with Manny on of the techs, he made me feel so comfortable. Then here is the kicker, Dr Patel came and it was like being reunited with an old friend. She made the whole experience so pleasant. I haven't experienced any of the problems I read in the other reviews of Ideal Dental. Over the three years I've been with them, they've been courteous, professional, high-tech, and thorough. I was told a year and a half ago that I needed two crowns and I've procrastinated. On my most recent visit, they again cited the two needed crowns (kudos for consistent findings) but they did not pressure me to go ahead and get them. I would never post this except it happened to both me and my daughter! We both went to Brush32 and were told we had cavities. They told me I had two, and they told my daughter she had several that needed to be filled immediately or she would have to have root canals. When she got back to college she immediately made an appointment with a new dentist who told her she had two small ones that were nowhere near root canals. I was skeptical of going back, especially since the whole time I was there, they kept trying to talk me into getting Invisalign braces. I have never been told I need braces and was shocked. I said no and they wouldn't let it go, even as I was checking out. I went to another dentist who reviewed Brush32's X-rays and said I have no cavities! This cannot be a coincidence. We got braces for my son here. We were never told that the orthodontist is only here once a month, which means if there is any emergency or anybody is sick, you are out of luck for another month delaying your child's care. Just received EOB for my wife in today's mail. These rip-off artists are attempting to submit a claim to a Federal Benefits Insurer for every type of imaging under the sun, and deep perio cleaning that was not conducted. y wife requested insurance covered exam and xrays and an insurance covered cleaning. She received no written estimate ahead of any dentistry that was performed. Upon departure, she was told by the clerk that everything was covered and that she owed nothing. We will call the Federal Benefits Insurer tomorrow and discuss potential (have not received bill from provider yet) surprise charges and unethical billing. Ideal it is not. Wanted to get a cleaning at Brush 32 now Ideal Dental. They gave me an appointment right away, 1st red flag. Then called an hour before my appointment to say they had a problem with my insurance. Finally got that worked out, and got an appointment the next week. Went in an filled out all the forms and went back for the obligatory x-rays and pictures. The the Dentist comes in and without even looking in my mouth says I will need a deep cleaning. OK and then the office manager comes in with all the paper work with $ figures and tells me my insurance will not cover that until 2023. If I want to pay out of pocket they can do it right away. I asked about a regular cleaning to get me by until 2023. No, can't do that. So when they ask you, " How can we make you smile today" tell them to do what they said they would do. NOT. read more

I visited Brush 32 because of a grand opening special they were running. I told them I didn't have insurance and I had not been to the dentist in several years. What I received from them was a suggested bill of $11,480.00 which included Invisalign for my bite that way way off and fillings for 5 cavities among a few other things. They proposed a monthly payment plan for over $300/month. Naturally I decided to wait and talk to my husband. In January I got on his insurance and decided to go to Gatlin Creek who gave me a perfectly clean check up. No jaw or bite issues and ZERO cavities and "perfect oral hygiene ". I was very stressed out about Brush32's diagnosis because I've never had dental issues. They had such an urgency for me to sign a contract with them because my dental issues were so severe. It is very scary to me that I could've trusted them and paid that kind of money to a drs office and had the extensive amount of work they suggested done when I had absolutely NOTHING wrong with my teeth and jaw. I'm not the kind of person to complain or write reviews but I feel like people need to beware of this business. I am often too trusting. If they had told me $500 or even $1000 worth of work I probably would've done it. I am thankful the price was so high and unbelievable that I didn't believe them. Consider Gatlin Creek. Is it normal to take 8-9 shots to get numb for a root canal? No! The Dentist kept trying to work in my mouth without me being numb. I was in pain after this dental work for 4 days and was told this was normal. I was also swollen and developed a small hematoma. When I was sent a bill for the services, nothing was listed like "root canal work" so I called to request an itemized bill and finally received it. I have yet to be contacted by management to address my awful experience. Definitely go somewhere else for your dental work! read more

Do not go to this dental office!!! Similar to other reviews, I was told I had 6 cavities, needed a crown and possibly a root canal. I was in shock, since I have always taken great care of my teeth. I new something was wrong then and there, but after they took 5 minutes to clean my teeth I was certain it was a scam operation. I told the front desk that I was aware of their questionable ethics. Because of what the Belterra dentist told me, I made an appointment-to go to another dentist who had excellent reviews. BEWARE I went for a teeth cleaning last week because I couldn't get into my dentist as quick as I wanted... I was there for an hour and forty five minutes. They immediately had me watch an Invisalign video. I was very confused! I'm 30 years old and I've never been told I need braces so that was strange! Moving on...the dentist barely looked around in my mouth and I was told I need 11!!!! Cavities filled! 11!!!!!!!! I was shocked!! I've only had two my entire life!! Next as I'm sitting around waiting for whatever happens next, the receptionist brings a pricing sheet over. $3,000 to fill 11 cavities that they say I have! She also brought over pricing for the Invisalign... $4,500! The dentist barely even spoke to me about Invisalign! I told the receptionist I was getting a second opinion! When I was checking out she wanted me to sign off on the Invisalign!! I'm not sure if they thought I was that stupid or what! This week I went to my normal dentist and get this....... I have ZERO cavities!! And no need for braces! (I'm laughing as I write this) I can't believe this actually happened to me and a business would scam people!!! I came here for the first time because I wanted something more convenient and close to work. My cleaning was super rushed, the fastest cleaning I have ever had, and she was not gentle at all. At the end of my appointment I was presented with a $2000 quote which included 8 fillings, not even including my far back tooth which I was told "you might need a root canal, but we won't know until we get into it". As someone who has always taken good care of my teeth I was completely taken aback. 8 fillings and a possible root canal!? I immediately called my old dentist up north and made an appointment. I went to my old dentist today and they took 45 minutes to actually thoroughly clean my teeth. The hygienist said it looked like my teeth hadn't been cleaned at all. Makes sense in retrospect. The dentist found that I needed absolutely NO fillings, and the spot on my far back tooth is a stain. I have never had dental anxiety but I do now, thank you for that. I am not going back to Brush 32 and I'll make sure to share my experience so hopefully other can avoid this. I can't believe they told me I needed all of that work and I am glad I felt uncertain enough to get a second opinion. Completely shady business practices. So I've been coming to this dentist for a few years. Let me start by saying if you like continuity in care - DO NOT GO HERE. I've seen probably 4 different dentists in the last 3 years. And truthfully, I just found this office through my dental insurance and I had no real complaints until this year. This office is definitely a business - they're not focused much on patient care in my opinion. I've been getting my teeth cleaned every 6 months to the tee until COVID. So I missed my last 6 month cleaning in June. They put the blame on me that I had 9 cavities needing fillings for not being to the office since 10 months ago?... The new dentist was nice, she's personable and honestly compared to other dentists I've had she's fairly gentle. She even showed me the areas of cavities on my xrays because I asked her to. Since I've be getting my teeth cleaned here in 2017, I've never needed a cavity filled so I was shocked when she told me I needed 9 fillings and 2 crowns after missing one 6-month cleaning. I've now asked 3 times if I should be concerned that all these cavities were missed on my xrays and each time she's blown me off saying "she has to go back and look" but then never follows up with me. I asked the receptionist to send me all my dental radiographs on my file (again been going here since 2017) and I received all rads from my most recent visit and half of them from my visit in Dec 2019. The areas the dentist pointed out were present on my last set of dental radiographs - I'm no dentist but uh if these are truly cavities then that's a straight up malpractice/negligence lawsuit waiting to happen. Especially since they drew up an estimate for $2000 for me. Woof. So again. I asked would I need this much work if they had been caught sooner? "I'm not sure what was on your radiographs in December, so I'd have to back and look".... So I basically said okay well I guess if I need to get the work done then just get it over it. They quoted me to split it up into the right-side fillings, the left side and then the 2 crowns (1 possible root canal) in 6 months. I went in yesterday for the first half of my fillings needed which probably took twice the amount of time it should've. Every time they tell me the dentist is running behind and then I can hear her bouncing around to different rooms. Remember when I said they're into business not patient care? Yeah, she's doing way too many things at once, which in my opinion and experience is a recipe for error. When she told me she wanted to do 9 fillings and 2 crowns I told her I was about to start an Invisalign refinement period with a different office and she said that's fine - the fillings won't affect it but the crowns should wait until after my refinement. Well I guess this was all completely forgotten because after I did the first half of fillings yesterday I asked her again if the work done would affect my Invisalign refinement and her eyes got real big and she paused then said - "oh. Well. They can alter the fillings however they need to for your refinement trays to fit"....um. wat?... Okay so let's talk about COVID now. The office has procedures in place to try their best to protect patients and themselves. As someone in healthcare - I think this is important and I highly value clinics that are doing this. WELL when I got my teeth cleaned a couple weeks ago I thought it was awful ballsy of them to just wear a surgical mask when working in patient's mouths - I'm talking the dentist, dental assistant, hygienist, everyone - but hey to each their own. EXCEPT that if they catch COVID and asymptomatically transmit it around then we have a problem. I understand I way more cautious since I'm on immunosuppressant medications for an autoimmune condition. Well thankfully, for my fillings the dentist wore an N95 and a surgical mask but the dental assistant only wore a surgical mask. I was actually about to have a panic attack when she was placing the matrix bands for my composite fillings because she was very obviously straining and open mouth breathing in my face with just a surgical mask. Look. I can have grace if you have a deviated septum or allergies that are causing nasal congestion but regardless please wear the proper PPE to protect yourself AND YOUR PATIENTS. That did me in. I don't think I'll be completely the recommended work until I get a second opinion because graduating PA school during a pandemic means you negative money and I think we all have a little dentist anxiety as it is. I read some other recent reviews that looks like the newest dentist is pushing a lot of fillings and Invisalign which probably means she's working on some sort of commission. I just went to Brush 32 in Belterra Village and I had a great experience. I had a bump on my gum that was hurting and they got me in the same day. I had to bring my kids with me because they are still off of school and the staff was wonderful about it! They had a kids show on for them, answered all of their questions and let them each pick a treat! My x-rays, fillings and cleaning were easy and my teeth look great.
