I've been to this office twice now, an initial new patient appt and deep cleaning. I originally picked this place because the online reviews were really good. Both times my wait time to be called back were less an 5 minutes. All the staff were extremely nice. The dentist himself is very personable. The technician who cleaned my teeth was very thorough, probably the most thorough cleaning I have ever had. Great experience, upfront about pricing and options, and did not make me wait. I am very pleased with this office and their staff so far. My two teenage/adult sons are also patients and commented they had positive experiences so far. read more

I originally went to this office in Lake Worth because I needed four teeth pulled. All of them were cracked and causing me extreme pain. I remember that day I came in it was an emergency and they were the only dental office that was open on Saturday. What a blessing that was. I needed a high dose pain medication and antibiotics until I could see the oral surgeon which would've been that coming Friday. I knew I had an infection, but if it wasn't for this office being open and they're kind and understanding demeanor to my situation I thought I was going to lose my mind. This was back in August of this year. As promised, I told him I would return to do the periodontal scraping which I was long overdue. Because I went through cancer, treatment, radiation, and chemo therapy over 15 years ago the special attention they have given to me is above and beyond kindness. I went in 2 weeks ago to do one side and Lisa is a complete Angel.. excellent job they numbed me perfectly and I have a high tolerance for pain but let me tell you I didn't experience any at all even after the medication wore off! Lisa talked to me while she scraped away explaining what she was doing and keeping me calm because I had a bad dental experience in the past so I wanted to grip the armrest like the hulk but she kept it very professional and even shared some VERY helpful facts with me. She was kind and friendly just like Texans normally are! The entire time she kept saying I was doing great and she helped keep me calm! It felt like my best friend was taking care of me! I was there again yesterday (Friday) and Lisa did an exceptional job again! She's been doing that job for 50 yrs so I'm telling you that kind of experience puts your mind at ease! I was really looking forward to seeing Lisa and the rest of the team there! I also had two small fillings done; the doctor and his assistant handled me with care and was most expedient in their work. Do not waste your time going here. Literally the worst dental practice EVER! For starters they do not send the paperwork or quotes and you will have to hunt them down for it and call to get what you need from them. They don't fill you in on ALL the cost until after they have started the treatment. Imagine my surprise when after I got my root canal they then ask for an additional 1000 for the remaining part. I had already paid 1000 but had no idea the additional cost. They will act surprised and gas light you and say they for sure sent the paperwork only to confirm they had NOT sent the paperwork. They constantly reschedule for " emergencies" They called me 1.5 hrs before my apt to reschedule! They did this 3 times!!!!!! After they INSISTED I needed to have the temporary crown on for only 3 weeks max, they then call to re-schedule and when I threw a fit about it they acted like I was somehow in the wrong because I was upset I had already taken off work. Good luck if you have a job and have to take time off because they for sure will screw it all up. I already paid up front for what I need done so I am stuck with them until the last procedure is complete. read more

I gave them two starts because there office staff is incredibly kind. They helped me with my insurance and helped with my two year old while I was seen. They are all such kind people and really did make me feel welcome. As much as I loved their staff I won't be returning to the office. They took, what felt like ten thousand X-rays and then took individual photos of each of my teeth. So they're thorough in that regard. Dr C came in and did an exam immediately after finishing the X-rays. He immediately suggested two crowns and braces to straighten my teeth. My teeth are incredibly straight-- never in my 32 years of life has a dentist ever suggested braces. One of the crowns he wanted to do was one that I had just had done less than a year ago. He wanted to redo the entire thing. ‍ I asked if it was a necessary treatment and he said it's more preventative than necessary. Just seemed like he was suggesting some expensive procedures for someone who wasn't having any kind of pain. The braces still throw me off, but I assume they must get a good percentage back on Invisalign (which is what he suggested). After the exam-- they proceeded to clean my teeth. I was pretty disappointed in this procedure as well. They started with the polish and then the dentist came back and briefly "scraped" and then they put some fluoride on my teeth and sent me on my way. Everything felt very backwards. Generally, I've had my teeth scraped, then polished and then examined by the dentist. The staff was soooo kind. seriously, some of the nicest folks, but the actual cleaning was lacking and the pressure for unnecessary procedures was disheartening. read more

Dr. Bui and his team are amazing. They explain everything, take their time to answer questions and make you feel comfortable. The level of customer service is rare. They going through every step with you, even a breakdown of your insurance and any balance. You don't feel like just another patient. They take the time to get to know their patients. Everyone avoids going to the dentist because of fear of pain or expense. But at Lake Worth Dental they put every client at ease and offer great payment options. read more

I have been going to this dentist office for a few years now! I WILL NO LONGER BE A PATIENT AT THIS OFFICE!!!! I went in for a teeth cleaning like I do every 6 months! The lady that gave me prices on the insurance gave me a discounted price on a mouth guard and mentioned my insurance would cover the rest. If I knew I would be receiving another bill of $159 after the $200 I paid for with the curtsey discount of a $100 off my mouth guard I WOULD HAVE NEVER PURCHASED IT!!! I work for a doctors office you would think the office would work with me on the additional fee my insurance didn't cover. I believe I spoke with a lady named Autumn I told her I would no longer be a patient I would find another dentist to appreciate my loyalty all she said was "OK"! I really like this place but I think it's more of my dentist than anything. I really enjoy Dr. Bui! He is super professional and he always gives me great advice. He is real he doesn't sugar coat it but doesn't try to scare me into things either. He tells you what is really going on and what he recommends. Have you ever had a dentist that you wondered is he really helping me or is he just trying to sell me stuff?? Well not here he is an honest guy and gets stuff done. Easy to set an appt and they have saturday appts which is really nice also. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a dentist to come by and check this place out and ask for Dr. Bui because you know he is going to take good care of you. The place is super clean and looks pretty new as well so you can't go wrong with that. Easy to set an appt which makes it super easy for me. Don't expect reasonable pricing here. After immediately giving me x-rays I did not want, the doctor spent less than 5 minutes looking at my tooth. Giving me an astronomical price for crown, they said my bill was going to be $270 with cleaning. $88 for 4 x-rays $68 for doctor, and $120 just to clean teeth. So now they give me insurance price for crown, reducing price to $1300+. And after the fact I realize the $129 insurance per year would have covered the $270 bill. But that wasn't pointed out. read more

Though I have been a patient of Lake Worth Center Dental now Ideal Dental of Lake Worth for a couple of years now, lately, I have had the most unprofessional, incompetent poor customer service experiences I have ever encountered. 1. I had a confirmed cleaning appointment scheduled for my son. I get a call less than 24 hours beforehand saying the dentist is on vacation and they would have to reschedule more than a month out. The receptionist was apologetic and ensured that she handles scheduling and would put us at the top of the list to get him in sooner because people cancel all the time. I never heard back from her. Then, a couple of weeks later i take a call while at work from Barbara with the dental center saying I'm late on my Invisalign payment. I advised I don't have Invisalign..she says your braces then. I advise my braces were paid I full a year ago. She goes on with another guess before I stop her and advise to get her facts straight because I'm at work, now with the appearance that i don't pay my bills. I never received a call back or apology or explanation. 1 week later, I show up at 4:40 for my 4:50 confirmed scheduled cleaning and the door is locked. I call the center and Barbara says the dentist is gone for the day and they don't schedule appointments after 430, I must be mistaken. I check my email/text and advise my appointment confirmation says 450and ask what time she has in her book. She says 5pm, but quickly goes on to say they don't see patients at that time, sorry. She would only reply- I will have my office manager call you about this (like the other call i never got). By this time I have quite a few choice words for the 1. Entire wasted vacation day 1 scheduled off work (the 2nd in as many weeks); 2. The complete incompetency to schedule an appointment beyond business hours, confirm an appointment beyond business hours, fail to contact me to reschedule, leave for the day with another appointment on the books; 3. Fail to offer ANY type of restitution for the multiple egregious treatment of a customer. In conclusion I never received a call, me and my son need to find a dentistto schedule cleanings at the end of the year (good luck with that) ..I am out of 2 vacation days, wasted at the hands of the dental center, and am left with absolute frustration and disappointment. read more

Hi LaNora, The staff at this location is phenomenally pleasant. The office is clean, Dr is knowledgeable. No issues with the service. The statement " can we go ahead and get this work taken care of today" is a closing the deal statement. Also, when someone says no thanks and a follow up statement is made " what would prevent you from taken care of this work today" is a sales rebuttal. It may appear as if this rebuttal is being helpful but it is in fact weeding out the objections, once you narrow down all objections, isolate the real issue and provide a solution sale gets closed. 99% of the time the objection is money. A SALES based business is often times today centric" right now" because if you have time to think about it you may not move forward. A SERVICE based business is future centric " let's schedule it next week" because we don't want you having to wait around for an hour or two because we value the customers time. This company isn't bad, the techniques used are deceptive. People expect to get sold something at a car lot but they are unsuspecting at a dental office. I didn't post to be a jerk, I merely posted to make people aware of what I experienced. read more

The front desk is nice, but be prepared to wait. Their wait times are ridiculous especially given only 3 of us were in waiting room with other patients leaving. I would say go there for regular checkups but definitely DO NOT use for orthodontics because after waiting 45 min after your appt time you still won't get called back!!! read more

Worst dentist office ever! Go anywhere else! Staff is rude, irresponsible, and unresponsive. Constantly rescheduling. They have no idea what they are doing. Switched to 7 day dental I am much happier. Highly suggest 7 day dental. They are not accountable for their mistakes. Do not tell you how much u truly have to pay. Biggest mistake i ever made was coming here. My entire family left because none of us liked it. 2 of us r required to stay under contract. I have never been so depressed hearing i have a dentist appointment. Strongly suggest anywhere else. Which is very disappointing because my first impression was, "I think I will like this place." I've gotta say, I HATE going to the dentist. But who likes to go, right? I've had bad experiences in the past with other dentist offices but this one is amazing. The front desk people are so friendly. I love Dr. Bouey (Don't know how to spell his name). He is very professional and friendly. Took the kids today to See Dr. Z and on the way home my youngest said: "that's the only dentist I want to go to because they were so nice!" She confirms 4:50, but quickly follows with we don't even see patients at that time, sorry. By this time I have quite a few choice words due to: a. an entire wasted day I scheduled off from work (the second in as many months due to the dental center), the complete incompetency to b. schedule an appointment beyond business hours; c. confirm an appointment beyond business hours; d. leave for the day, seeing there is another appointment scheduled; e. failure to contact me and reschedule; f. fail to offer any restitution for the multiple egregious encounters at the fault of the office. In conclusion, I received what was obviously a blow-off of I will have to have my office manager call you. I reply with like you were going to call me back to reschedule my son's appointment that YOU cancelled because the dentist was on vacation??? Again- I will have to have my office manager call you. In conclusion, no one ever called. I am left in need of a cleaning for myself and my son at the end of the year (good luck with that); I am out 2 scheduled days off for the sole purpose of my appointments which were cancelled with little to no notice, and endless frustration and disappointment. read more
