I wanted a teeth cleaning so called MINT. Keep in mind I am retired and on a budget. they quoted 200 which is a lot but I decided to had a good feeling about their company. Came in and they did the bait and switch. She quoted 400 for exam and cleaning and possible reduction if I joined their discount plan for 149 a year. I have been going to Mint for 7 years and have been to various locations. Their internal communication and scheduling is disorganized. If you like to have your appointments moved or cancelled the day of that have been scheduled for 6 months, after adjusting your work schedule and requesting time off, and never seeing the same doctor, this is the place for you! They are focused on churning patients with insurance for money and do not care about their customers. I should have left years ago but kept giving them a 4th, 5th, 6th chance. Glad to say I am seeking a private practice and getting away from flakey doctors who do not care about the people who help pay their bills. read more

Mint Dentistry in Lake Worth is probably the worst provider's office I've ever dealt with. Without going into all the details (which wouldn't fit here) the office/clerical staff doesn't know their right hand from their left. My latest experience (and my last) was when they provided a fax number on a medical release form and when asked if they'd received it back, I was told "oh that fax hasn't worked since I've been here; you'll just have to go to your dr office and get it and bring it here." NO! I've already been inconvenienced by them and their lab 25 miles away several times and won't go back even tho I have a treatment plan in place. Their "corporate" office is no better. Just get bounced around and around from one person/extension to another. Their recording from Dr Field Harris says if your experience isn't excellent, he wants to hear about it. But there's no way to contact him. The dentist IS nice and seems knowledgeable. She needs to work somewhere else. read more

Really frustrated with my experience. I had some work done and am now having pain. Booked twice & at both times got rescheduled. I undusted things happen but the THRID TIME of this I had it. The little girl hung up on me, changed my appointment time from 5pm to 4pm, lied and said that is wasn't available and then all of sudden I could be seen at 5 and then refused to give me her name. Each time I called I got hung up on but they can text. After requesting several times for a name and manger I got ahold of Nicole and still had no answers. I am a nurse and my work shift is intense. If you can not accommodate patients, correct your hours on line and train your employees not to lie and freely move set timed appointments. read more

Went there for a consultation. I called and asked if there was a charge for this service and was told there was not. After my visit I was told that they were billing my insurance $500. My insurance only has a $1000 yearly max. This used up 1/2 of it! They argued with me and were very rude - Then they tried to tell me that I was there for a "preventative visit." What I was there for is a new partial, not a "preventative visit". We just wanted to get a price and that's all. They are a bunch of crooks. Edit after 1st response: It is necessary for to sodomize me?. All we wanted was a price estimate NOT an exam and x-rays. We are gathering prices and you are the only dentist that has done this. And of course you aren't going to do anything about it - you already got your money. Who ever heard of a $500 charge for an estimate? Now I only have $500 to spend on the partial. You can bet your sweet x-ray you won't be getting any more of it. You are CROOKS! read more

The woman who did my X-rays was absolutely amazing! When the dentist came to look at my teeth I told her my teeth are extremely sensitive and told the man who came to clean them the same thing. The man was extremely rough and rushed through the cleaning process. When I winced he'd say "oh am I hurting you? You're acting like I'm hurting you." when I said yes he just said "yeah I went a bit deep huh". Every other dentist I've gone to for cleanings has taken their time and have spent about 30 minutes for a good cleaning. He took max 10 minutes. My teeth still don't feel like they should after a cleaning and my teeth still hurt 3 days later and my gums are swollen. . I wouldn't recommend this place for anything other than X-rays. Oh and if you need an extraction and your dental requires medical insurance be run first they won't do it so you have to completely pay out of pocket. read more

I got to my appointment today after leaving work early only to be told they can't see me and need to reschedule. Which means I have to take off work again next week. Today was my first time visiting this office. When making my appointment I clearly asked if they would accept my X-rays from my old dentist last year. I was told yes. Then yesterday I called to confirm my appointment as well as ask where should I send my X-rays to. I explained that I'm pregnant & only wanting a routine cleaning no X-rays. They gave me an email address & told me no problem. Once I showed up today for my appointment I was told that they would need to check with their doctor on accepting last years X-rays. They then told me that I would need to get new ones in their office in order to get my routine cleaning done. I feel like they could've been upfront with me during booking the appointment or even during confirming the appointment the day before. I highly recommend if you care about the health & safety of your unborn child don't go to mint. read more

This location is super amazing! The team are professional, kind and efficient. They were patient to explain what they were doing and my upcoming procedures I needed done. The ladies in there make you feel so comfortable from the front desk to the back before you even see the dentist. They practice social distancing and clean thoroughly the area after each patient. They make it affordable and try to help in every way possible to help you get what you need done. I'm telling all my teacher coworkers to go here! Great job ladies! read more

The office manager, front desk assistant and the woman who did my x rays were all very sweet and helpful! The lady who checked my teeth was extremely rude and even told me to tell me to handle my diabetes before arriving at my appointment so they wouldn't have to deal with it... The man who cleaned my teeth was also rude and very rough. I asked for him to numb my mouth because my teeth are very sensitive. He seemed super judge mental like I was wasting his time. My teeth are super sore and he didn't seem to care about my comfort whatsoever... Not returning. Only giving 2 stars due to the few nice women I encountered and the really awesome waiting room design. read more

My Experience with Mint Dental went like this. You be the Judge. They Charged me $200.00 to remove one tooth with My Health/Dental Insurance covering the rest which was much more than $200.00. I had one tooth removed a large Molar in the bottom right of my mouth. About 2 Weeks later tooth fragments starting poking out of the area that the tooth was pulled from. It was quite painful with swelling and bleeding from the fragments they left in 2 times offering no help. I can deal with pain but that's not the point. They did an X-ray the first time. The second time again after the 3 large tooth fragments were removed out of the same area they worked on the previous weeks. Here's where we get to Negligence. I believe you should communicate if there is an issue with something that the other side needs to know about. So about 2 weeks later after the first tooth fragment's were removed. I feel a painful spot that turned into a large swollen area with another sharp tooth fragment finally protruding out of that area. It was cutting into the bottom of my tongue badly and got very painful then went to bleeding. I tried myself to snap off or remove that sharp tooth fragment because they were closed the following week being the New Year and then Omicron hit. I had to deal with that issue until someone was back in the Office which was about another week or so after the New Year. Well the large tooth fragment is still attached to my Jaw at this point. I go back into Mint for an Emergency Dental procedure I thought. They weren't happy because of their mistake costing them time I guess. They told me this 2nd time in for fragments of tooth and jaw bone that I needed a Dental Surgeon. Then simply refused to communicate with me as they had screwed up my jaw and another tooth next to the one half removed. They asked me to leave when I started asking bothersome questions. Quite Naturally I was concerned because the whole situation felt like they had hurt me which they did and would only repeat you need a Dental surgeon without any further explanation. I ended up going to 7 Day Dental which is fantastic. They have a Wednesday offering Half Off most all procedures and Money is very tight right now for myself. I had to spend quite a bit to resolve the issue they created and choose not to deal with. If you call their Corporate office No one answered for me. You can verify this for yourself. If you need real estate or the like they are selling that as part of their Dental Business. Sure seems like their focus is on Money and not at all taking responsibility for injuring me the patient. I can't give less than one star if I could it would be none. Mint Dental takes no responsibility and if you pay cash your out of luck it seems. I would say go anywhere but Mint Dental to avoid getting injured. I hope you don't have to go through this so I wrote down the fact's so you could make a more informed decision thus the long review. I usually check reviews espacially if the business is health related. In this case I should have done so. Good luck with your Dental procedure if you choose Mint. They aren't any less expensive and they aren't using modern technology that would prevent these issues. I went to 7 Day Dental my experience was really great. The pictures of your Xrays are done on a live TV right in front of you with communication being very good compared to Mint. They Got me in for an Emergency Appointment later the same day. They corrected my issue by removing the attached fragments of tooth and Jaw. I was lucky. Mint left me in Pain with no options except sorry about your luck. Seek a Dental Surgeon was all they would say period. I guess Mint doesn't have any on staff?. I find this very strange as the Dentist at 7 Day took care of my issue Mint created very well. Some find Dental uncomfortable. If Mint creates an Issue. They choose not to address it and leave me in Pain with tooth and Jawbone fragments in my head. I'm no legal expert but I believe that's called Negligence. I have an attorney that is taking this case for free. I could not afford to correct an issue I already paid for in the first place. I hope this helps anyone avoid this unprofessional practice as this is not being responsible. They had no problem taking my Money. Good luck with your dental health. read more
