I paid high out-of-pocket costs in addition to my insurance coverage and initially felt it was worth it. However, I was referred to the same dentist twice for additional work, and both experiences were unprofessional. After expressing my concerns, no alternative referral was offered, and I was left to find a provider on my own. Most recently, I learned after my appointment that my insurance was no longer in-network. This is typically verified and communicated beforehand, but it didn't happen this time. I was later balance-billed, and although a small discount was offered after I voiced my concerns, the situation was still disappointing. Overall, the decline in communication and follow-through has made my experience fall far short of what I expected.

I purchased zoom teeth whitening from Groupon, I read reviews, and I even went in for a consultant. The doctor was pleasant and focused on care and comfort for his patients. It's his staff that is unprofessional and needs training to meet the needs of their staff. I had a follow up appointment 3 weeks after, and unfortunately because of their incompetence they canceled my appointment without reaching out to the correct number. I make it to my appointment on time, and the receptionist shared she called me and couldn't leave a voicemail, and sent text messages. I shared that's strange because I haven't received any since the last time I was there in mid December. I asked if she can call the number on file, she calls the wrong number (there were two numbers strangely on file- only 1 number different from both phone numbers on file). Which I'd think due diligence would be calling both numbers if one number doesn't even allow you to leave a message. She proceeds to argue with me, and share that's it's not their fault and that unfortunately I do not have an appointment anymore when I waited 3 weeks prior to vacation for this appointment. I will take accountability, maybe I shouldn't have purchased the zoom whitening on Groupon and stayed loyal to my primary dentist. So disappointing and never again. While my old orthodontist had wanted to charge me $600 for two retainers, I paid the same amount here for six! I got to say that my experience with their customer service was excellent from the minute I called to make the appointment to the minute I left the office. First, they do take emergencies and promptly provide same-day-service, which I was extremely grateful for that. I called to make the appointment before office hours and the lady who took the call was very pleasant and let me know I would get a phone call from an office representative as soon as they were available. I got the call one and a half hour later and they gave me an appointment right away. The office personnel greeted me with a smile and with a friendly personality, especially Katherine, who saw in a distress mood, yet, she managed to put a smile on my face. Then Yamilette, she was with me through the whole process. We conversed, we laughed, while she was explaining every step or procedure she would do. She was the dentist assistant and she is a beautiful soul. And last, the dentist, Dr. Pham... AMAZING! Dr. Martin immediately came up with a plan to move the teeth to create spaces for implants. When the spaces opened up he attached Pontic teeth, so I wasn't left with giant gaps. Other orthodontics that I had talked to gave the option of shoving all my teeth together, which would have deformed my side profile and bite. Dr. Martin is the most accommodating and personable doctor I've known. His staff is the sweetest and is always apt to advocate for you. Several times they've made me retainers absolutely free. It was a long but truly rewarding experience. I would never have chosen to go anywhere else. I couldn't thank him enough. He's changed my life.
