Today, Steinberg calls and said they have not gotten the pre-authorization from my urologist office for this test. They claim that they do not do insurance pre-authorization for testing that required the doctors office that refers you to them to get it. I talked to my urologist office. They send it in the day. I had my appointment last month and then send it again today. However, a supervisor at Steinberg claims they never received it and they simply canceled my appointment. I have told my urologist I no longer trust Steinberg Diagnostic to do my testing. I prefer to go back to Desert radiology I have always had a good experience with him. I will never ever ever use Steinberg again nor should you.

The rep took down my information incorrectly. When I went in for the appointment, they corrected it at the facility. But it didn't correct it as far as billing goes. My insurance denied the claim due to incorrect birthdate. So desert rad just resubmitted it without changing anything. I've called multiple times, submitted my information, and been told it's been fixed. Weeks later it's still not resolved and there is no one local to talk to, and not one competent billing rep amongst them. I don't know that this will ever get fixed judging by the people they contract.

Why are all the employees at Innovative Pain Care Centers incompetent? They are incapable of…read morescheduling an appointment with the correct person. I knew this was going to happen after I spoke to their incredibly rude manager two weeks ago. Fast forward 2 weeks, my appointment was made with the PA instead of the doctor. I have not been given a shot nor has the manager called me to discuss why my appointment was made with the wrong person. This is the only location that schedules three separate appointments for a trigger point injection. PA will see you without coming in for the initial appointment before the tpi. Dr Wu won't do that. I've been lied to as to why the first appointment is required. at first, they claimed they needed to check to make sure that my tpis are covered by insurance. This was a lie! After I called them out on this, they started seeing me without that first appointment. Last Thursday after they screwed up my appointment, I emailed their manager and I still have not received a response back. I get that they don't care about their patients, but now I have to wait even longer for my new doctors to get my MRI results and to schedule a TPI. I told this situation to a very nice blonde, slightly foreign accent Phlebotamist, who was so extremely nice enough to help us with check-in and ensuring that the pt will still be seen in a timely manner. Fast forward to pt's arrival (almost 45 min later) the other Phlebotamist, which I learned later whose name is At, was so extremely professional, efficient, highly skilled (got the hard stick pt in 1 try!!) and super personable. Her appt was made for 1:10 and we arrived at 11:00. She was wet and uncomfortable and I wanted to get her in sooner sincerely since we were already here. there is no reception and there is no one that ever answers their customer service line do simply go around voice prompts over and over again . I had to knock on the door just so I could speak with the provider when the lab tech came to the door she rudely said. "could you please not knock on the door. Did you need something ?" I explained the situation she rudely cut me off and said she needed to call 3 other patients that had appointments when it was clear that none of them were in the waiting room. I asked if she could take the timeslot. She said no we have to call them 3 times it's protocol and she can't take the slot. Well we waited 40 mins more. Not only did they not ever recall the names again it was clear they were not here. I asked again why my mom's 1:00 appt couldn't be moved up now after 40 mins? This time she closed the door on me. I'm so ticked off with the lab. No value to the patients, horrible customer service and VERY RUDE staff! At all cost I would even pay more just to not have to come back to this lab ever again and this is my second poor experience. Management should be more professional and proactive because this is not acceptable!
