The staff at Ideal Image Braintree are incompetent and wasted my time. I wen't for a consultation and they scanned my license and asked me how old I was I said "Im 18" they then proceeded to make the appointment and have me pay. I show up for my appointment and I am told I can't have filler because of my age. They knew my age when I originally came for a consultation and should have told me then. Instead I had to waste my time driving there and back just to be told to leave. Extremely disappointed and If the staff paid more attention this wouldn't have happened. This was a huge waste of time seeing as I don't live close to ideal image and took the day off to go. Will never try to go there again even when I am "of age". read more

Biggest scam ever!!! 3,200$ for a full Brazilian laser. Prices are insane you can pay half that price and get your entire body lasered.

I paid $11,900 for laser on bikini and upper legs for myself and extended bikini and brows for my daughter. I financed and I am still paying $334.00 a month for these services. I realize now that I could have had these done at my dermatologist for half that price. However, my biggest complaint is that Friday I went in for my 6th treatment laser hair removal. I arrived waited 20 minutes no one else was there waiting - the receptionists were nice. Once I was in the room, the treatment lady Julie, stated I was here for bikini. I said yes bikini and upper leg. She said we have you for bikini. I said I need all the areas done it is an hour drive and want everything on the same schedule because that would mean more driving two hours total back and forth. She left came back and said she could do both but in two hours because she had another person in 20 minutes. Also while waiting I had some kind of liquid drip on my head! I was wiping it off and i looked up and saw the ceiling leaking! Julie did't seem to care about the liquid that dripped on my head nor that the ceiling was really leaking quite a bit? I ask her why she couldn't do my treatment first since I had an appointment? (I had to wait a month and a half for it by the way.) I left work early and I was on time. I told her I didn't understand why I could not have the treatment? She said I could , but only the bikiniI. I said again, am here and would like to have them both done. She said she didn't have the laser? She left again and came back to tell me that they couldn't do all my areas until 6:40 so if I wasn't interested in that I would have to reschedule. At this point it is 5:00 on a Friday with Boston traffic so it is going to take 2 hours to get home! I left the treatment room with no treatment - left work early, drove an hour and now have to rebook a month out, drive another hour in and home for another day! Then another lady comes out from the back apologizing for the error and how can I make it up to you. I said well for all the extra driving and time could I have one skin product please? She replied no, but you can purchase it. So I hope anyone reading this will look for other options, be smart and stay away! read more

Disappointed to leave this review because I have been a long time customer at Ideal Image and unfortunately will not be going back. I went in for Botox, the esthetician told me if I did not get enough Botox I could come back within 2 weeks for a bit more. I waited a week and decided I needed a few more units (it takes at least that long for Botox to "kick in"). Phone was not picked up for days, I left several messages with no return call. It was impossible to get an immediate appointment thus I would be out of the 2 week timeframe. When I called to confirm, I was told the nurse reviewed and that I could not come back because I was outside of the window. I was told to come back in April or May which will not be happening. I asked for a manager to call me to discuss which of course did not happen. Very disappointed. There is a lot of competition for Botox in the market, I want better service somewhere else. read more

Ideal Image is a scam if I ever saw one. Pleases, do NOT let these "consultants" con you into paying $8,000 for basic laser hair removal. First, Ideal Image will not give you a price-point over the phone. So I went out of my way to meet them today for an appointment. Why do they do this? Because they want to get every extra dollar out of your naiveté. Laser hair treatment is, at most, $1k/2k per major area (back/torso). But at Ideal Image Braintree the "consultant" quoted me at $25,335! That's right, she quoted me at more than a new car. Let that sit in for a moment. Twenty-five thousand dollars for basic hair removal. I then mentioned the Kiss 108 discount and the female consultant cut the price to $12,688, as if the price can just change with the wind. I said that was still much too high. So she knocked it down to $7,500. And that's where her charade broke: no matter my request this greedy sales "consultant" could not help herself from scamming me. (I have to put "consultant" in quotes because, being a real professional, I find her title fraudulent and misleading.) She then stated she would not drop the price below $7,500 for my torso and back. As a reference, you can go to a different cosmetic company and get laser liposuction for less than $5,000, and that's a real procedure. I've also done it. So I think I'm allowed to speak on these matters. Laser hair removal is not new science, and there are many other places to go where you won't be preyed on by pathetic hacks. You'll also pay less anywhere else you go. Ideal Image has a sales team that's equally egregious as they are unethical and who are, by the way, not licensed doctors or nurses. I am encouraged that our Yelp community will work together to expose Ideal Image's abusive pricing practices and trust their customer service will look inward before scolding us. Honestly I had a great experience with this group up until recently when I came away with painful burns, now scars, all over the top of my thighs from laser hair removal. I woke up the morning after my treatment to see all of these burns that were the shape of the tip of the laser used for laser hair removal. I paid for armpits and Brazilian but the girl I had that day decided to go onto my upper thigh (where I had never been treated before) and use the extremely strong laser which ultimately burned me. I couldn't contact anyone at the front desk when I tried to call the next day and was in pain and panicking that I would have scars from this. Finally, I reached out via Twitter in hopes of getting In contact with someone. I finally got a call from a nurse practitioner who told me to put aquaphor on it and that was pretty much it. I asked if I could speak to the manager at this location as I'm upset I spent so much money (and still have treatments left to go) and got such terrible results. I was told my information was forwarded and never heard back from the manager. I truly cannot believe that the manager would see someone physically burnt and scarred and would not even reach out to apologize or answer any of my concerns. I am still actively trying to contact the practice and will continue to pursue as I have photo evidence of my burns and documentation of all conversations with the practice. I'd recommend going elsewhere if you are considering laser hair removal since this location clearly does not care about their customers and making it right with them after something terrible like this. I cannot even reach the corporate customer service. So unacceptable! read more

I will start off by saying that I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Disease) which gives me excessive hair growth. When I signed up about 3 years ago for my full face and full bikini (treatments are separated by 6-9 weeks depending on the hair and your skin type) I was told by a woman who is no longer with the company that I would be hair free. by the time my 12 sessions were done, and that I would only need to use the lifetime warranty/membership years down the road for a couple breakthrough hairs. When I was not hair free after the 12 sessions I met with the Christina who now oversees the Braintree location. I was pretty upset seeing as though I spent a VERY lot of money, but after meeting with Christina and multiple other nurses they informed me that even with PCOS I would in fact never be "hair free" because of the PCOS and that the other woman should have told me that from the beginning. after the conversation Christina worked with me gave me multiple complementary treatments, and we have a new plan now. I will get touch ups every few months to keep up with the hair growth on my face. My bikini has definitely decreased by over 80% I barely have to shave anymore. I am definitely satisfied with the service after my conversation with Christina and the nurses that re evaluated me. (and, yes I am seen by a gynecologist and I am on medications to control the symptoms of PCOS as there is no cure) read more

I would NEVER go back and DO NOT recommend to anyone. After my consultation, I was scheduled for a laser hair removal treatment. I was charged several thousand dollars, with the understanding that I would have about nine treatments. At my FIFTH treatment, the nurse told me that the hair did not have a dark enough pigment for the laser treatment to be effective. None of the prior nurses told me this, and the treatment did absolutely nothing. After hours on the phone, the only resolution ideal image offered me was a 50% refund. Had treatment done same day for bikini hair removal. Hair has decreased significantly with only one treatment. Staff are on the sales side, I wouldn't say pushy but sellers. Although nurses are very helpful and seemed all have a great understanding and experience on it. My mother who went with me also had some fillers done which looked very natural. Me again. I received my first Botox apt w Lucy and she was wonderful. I booked my second apt for a touch up because after my first apt I still had 11 lines. I went for my touch up & paid another 90$ for my crows feet and a couple more units in my forehead. After the apt on my way home the right side of my face went numb. Not sure why this happened. I thought my touch up was going to be with Lucy & unaware that they didn't give me the same injector I was upset & of course that my face went numb. This isn't a normal reaction to Botox. I tried calling when I got home to ask if this was normal or what was going to happen should I go to the emergency room or what? & they didn't have a manager on duty. They had to call a manager and call back. Also. When I first booked my apt I tried to cancel and they told me If I cancelled I wouldn't be able to get a refund my daughter was sick so I didn't want to go to an apt in case I was sick to but after hearing I wouldn't get a refund I went anyways. In my opinion. I would definitely get Botox from a small business or a privately owned business, chains have to much "fine print." For a business like this it's all about the money, not about the well being of the customer or the results. So therefore I won't be giving any more money to this establishment in the future . read more

I am happy with the results im getting but otherwise this place is AWFUL! i go to the braintree ma ideal. Once you become locked into a contract they suddenly stop treating you respectfully. Ive encountered rudeness from someone whether its the front desk or my nurse herself, every appointment. Ive never felt so uncomfortable. I hate going to these appointments. However my last appointment was the worst. THEY BURNED MY NECK THEY BURNED MY NECK!!!!!. almost a week after treatment and i have a nasty bubbling and peeling burn on my neck. Im in a wedding tonight and it looks like a hickey. I called them last night to get some insight- it look me 3 times to get them on the phone because someone kept hanging up on me! They proceeded to tell me the manager, christina wasnt working!!!!!! So i spoke with a nurse. The next morning i find out the manager Christina was working that night because she left me a voicemail! COMPLETE RIP OFF! $2500 for 5 laser hair removal treatments (lip & chin) with the bonus of another 5 "free visits" having 2 treatments, with no results. Called, complained no return phone call or email. Went in for 2 more treatments, showing a minimal 20% result... I am light skinned and do not have dark or course hair. After treatment 5 I gave up. This is the very first review I have ever done and unfortunately it is not a good one. After spending a lot of money for something that did not work, I was told that they were going to help me with some other services. The girl who did my procedure told me to give them two weeks to give me a call back. Well two weeks came and went with no phone call. After I left messages asking them to call me back and for the specific nurse who did my procedure, all calls when unreturned. I tried very hard to give the benefit of the doubt but after more calls going unreturned, it's obvious they have no intention in assisting me. I heard a promotion on 96.9, called for a consultation, and was able to get one that same day with Joelle. She was so informative and friendly, she really dumbed-down the process for me so I was able to see what I was getting myself into and what was expected. Felicia and Sonja really took care of me during this visit. I didn't get to completely shave a certain area (hmmmmm) and I thought I was going to have to make due...but nope, they were both hands on (hmmmmm) to get my situation right. I have been interested in Voluma fillers in my cheeks for quite some time now. After amazing word of mouth feedback about Ideal Image I decided to give them a call. I got connected to Jenny in the Braintree location and I knew just from speaking to her that I had made the right decision. Of course I had a few questions and Jenny had mentioned to me that the services I was interested in were running promotions and promptly booked me a consultation. When I arrived at the consultation I was warmly greeted by the two women at the front desk. I then went into my consultation appointment with Joelle moments later. I explained to her exactly what I wanted to have done there and she explained to me the way their system works. I purchased a few services in bulk. I knew this was somewhere I would feel comfortable having my services done. Fast forward to my actual appointment with the wonderful and talented Felicia. I was pretty nervous about my cheek injections because I had never had them before. Felicia took the time to find out exactly what I was looking for and performed the service accordingly. Having received Botox in the past I'm very familiar with how it all works. I called the Braintree location to inquire about there services, they explained they were having a special on Botox for $8.00 a unit. I thought that was a red flag but decided to try it. When I arrived for the appointment I was called into a room with I guess a sales person, I felt like I was at a car dealership not a Spa. In my past experiences I have never had this type of sales type experience and was very uncomfortable with the whole experience. Normally I would meet with the professional injector and go over the area's of concern and solution at the point. At this place it was like I said a car dealership experience. When I asked why I was in the room the sales person explained this was procedure. A nurse came in the room once we were done with, "the pitch". She asked what I wanted and area's I wanted to address. After explaining she then left and sales girl explained in order to get the $8.00 a unit special I would have to purchase 50 units. That was the reason I was there for the "special" of 8 dollars a unit but was not told I had to purchased that amount until in the room. I agreed with hesitation, I should have listened to my gut. When going in the room a different girl came in to inject. She basically rushed through the whole procedure, I actually had to stop her and ask her If she knew what I wanted. It took literally 5 min., and said she injected the full 50 units!!!!! With no results after 7 days I called to complain, literally 50 units should have more than done the job. I went back in for a touch up 10 or so days later, still the results were weak. They Comped me 30 units. After 8 or 9 weeks I needed more and went back in for the 30 units and still the results are not noticeable or much improvement. Buyers BEWARE!! You really do get what you pay for. read more

Front staff is either ageist or racist. But I happened to be there on Black Friday for a consult and I was signed in. An older white women came in and they told her all about the different promotions and giveaways that were happening and encouraged her to spin the wheel (which she kept spinning until she got a deal she wanted) and sign up for the raffle that was being drawn which included things that I came in for. They also offered her food and water while she waited. The staff was nice but that was really shady and terrible customer service. read more

I paid 1800.00 for 5 treatments of BBL to get rid of age spots and red spots. While I liked the professionalism of the RN's, physician assistants and nurse practioners, the actual treatment was a colussal was a waste of money. I still have age spots, my nose is still red. I almost feel bad for the people working there. While it looked esthetically like a very serene, clean, and professional business I got a shady feel from the sales pitch. While I think the prices are probably worth it, I can't go to a place that makes me feel like I'm being duped. First of all, let me clear something up, I have not been to this place yet; however, they completely discouraged me from getting anything done there as soon as I called their 800 number to inquire about pricing for individual treatments and packages. .....The customer service representative that help me was very nice but she refused to give me any pricing over the phone because she said that I absolutely had to go for a consultation first. .....I explained to her that I've been having laser treatments done in different areas for the last couple of years and that I absolutely love the place where I go; however, I am interested in getting my legs done and that I'm just looking for better prices than what I already pay. She kept insisting that I made an appt for a consultation so that they can give me a price; however, I explained to her that I didn't want to waste my time going for a consultation.
