Every time I come to my appointments, the staff is always very polite and making sure you are comfortable. The RNs doing the procedures are always very friendly, make you feel right at ease, and listen to any concerns you have without trying to hush or rush you just to get the appointment over with. I love that they have plenty of affordable packages to choose from and payment plans to help you make monthly payments without the stress of having to pay one big lump sum. There is some construction going on at this location, so now you do have to park in the parking deck beside the building as opposed to being able to park right in front of the entrance. Just make sure to go to the 3rd floor parking deck, and the bridge will take you directly to this location. Now i dont know if it's because Covid 19 has been backing away finally, but it does seem like it is harder to book an appointment with Ideal Image now than it was when i first started thus treatment back in 2019. When I called the first two times to try to book an appointment i was told they were booked up until late May but would call me if a cancelation came up or i could just create an account and try to book one myself. I ended up creating an account, and i just checked every day to see if an opening became available. Luckily, i did see a few open spots, so i was able to snag one immediately. I def. Recommend just creating an account and logging in every day to see if there are openings that become available if you are not able to book immediately or when checking out from your appointment. You gotta be kidding me this place was horrible. So they asked me to apply for a loan with their finance institution, which I did but no, they took it out of my checking account. Put me in overdraft and refused to answer the phone calls when I told them I do not notice any difference in my face. They told me a manager would call me back and I never got one call. Don't waste your money on CoolSculpting with Ideal Image. After paying for six sessions, I was informed I would only receive three because they used a larger pad--something they failed to disclose when I purchased the package. They later agreed to provide three additional sessions, promising a total of nine. However, during my last visit, the front desk informed me it was my final session. When I called for clarification, I found out the promised nine sessions had been reduced to four. To make matters worse, for sessions 2-4, Ideal Image used a less effective machine. This explains why the first session showed results, but the last three had no effect. Additionally, during the holiday season, they charged $247 per session. Never sign a contract until you are absolutely clear about the terms and conditions. read more

The absolute worst medical spa I've ever been to. I had botox and filler. After close to 2k, I look the same. Botox ran down my face while injecting. Filler left multiple bruises. To top that, I made an appointment with a specific injector. Had to wait several weeks for the appt. I arrived and it was with someone else. As I don't have 2k in my pockets, I applied for a loan. She became so agitated with me since I have safe guards around credit. I guess I took too much of her time. After that, when I came in for my appointment, she never even greeted me. While the nursing staff here is amazing, the overall business model is problematic. Specifically the Charlotte office, the office has over sold the amount of services that they can realistically service. Getting an appointment at this location is nearly impossible. I signed a contract with this location in August 2021, my first about for laser hair removal wasn't scheduled until Nov 2021. My 2nd appointment wasn't scheduled until March 2022. Everytime I'm placed on a waiting list with the promise of an appointment. I call and call unly to be offered an appointment in August 2022. Laser requires appointment to be 6-weeks apart to be effective. I wasn't told until AFTER I signed and paid that there was an issue with scheduling. This is FRAUD at best as I am upholding a contract by providing payment and they are not upholding their end of the contract by providing services. After filling a complaint with BBB, I was offered a "refund" that was pennies compared to what I've paid vs. the amount of appointments that I've had. I turned it down because the refund came with an NDA. I would not be able to warn people of this business practices. Based on the other reviews this is a common experience. read more

I would never recommend an unreputable med-spa organization like Ideal Image. I had no idea the Ultherapy treatment would be so painful. And no one from Ideal Therapy prepared me for the excruciating pain I was expected to endure. The Pre & Post Ultherapy Treatement Instructions and Expectations sheet that Ideal Image gave me merely stated that "Ibuprofen may be taken prior to the treatment". I had taken two Ibuprofen, the maximum recommended, but the pain was too intense for me to bear after 3-5 minutes and I had to ask the practitioner to stop the treatment. I have a fairly high pain tolerance, so I looked online to see if any others had experienced pain with this treatment and found that at a minimum, other Ultherapy providers applied a numbing cream to the area to be treated at least 30 prior to beginning the treatment to make the patient more comfortable. And at a maximum, some providers offered a facial nerve block. I was offered neither one. And when I asked for a refund because no one had told me to expect this intense pain, Ideal Image refused. They stated that per their contract, all they would do is apply my payment for the Ultherapy procedure to some other service offered by their company or toward another Ultherapy procedure at a later date. I will be disputing the payment I was required to pay upfront for this procedure because Ideal Image failed to properly communicate and manage the level of pain that I was expected to accept without complaint prior to the procedure. And after I explained that I was unable to tolerate the pain associated with their procedure, all Ideal Image cared about was keeping the money I had paid them in advance for this horrible experience. read more

Laser hair removal here is honestly a rip off. I was talked into this by Shannon. I have HS and this is why I signed up and spent 3,100$. I can say the only thing that has worked is my armpits. They limit the amount of times you can come, which in return does not help my HS flares. The hair on my lip has not thinned nor stopped growing. It's just a waste of money. Before hand I communicated with the doctor to ask about hormones and the procedure, trying to save myself for someone on my lip when it would not work. BEWARE!!!! I am so very disappointed at the results of my treatment and the amount of money WASTED at this place. Not only did I purchase a package with "lifetime touch ups" (which is a complete joke) for laser hair removal but it's like playing the lottery to even get an appointment. Constant staff shortage, app doesn't work to book your own appointment, and now the price just doubled for the touch ups!?!? I am a person of color and I understand that my hair texture is different from what they use as standard (they made it clear). I paid for 9 sessions, my hair is still coming back as if I've never gotten any treatment. This is after an additional 2 years of 3-4 touch ups. I called to share my concerns and their response was to suggest I double book my sessions so I can endure twice the agony and pain of the procedure. No thanks! Save your time and especially your money!! Look elsewhere. They simply cannot keep up with demand. They have high staff turnover. My appointments get cancelled and have had to be re-scheduled multiple times. Their reasons have always been that the nurse is no longer there. When it time to re-schedule I get put on a waitlist because they "don't have anything available at the moment". Aside from their inconsistency, the customer base to employee ratio is way too high for them.. my appointments are never 8-10 weeks as recommended by them therefore I don't really see much success from my laser treatments. They have stated that it doesn't matter how long you go in between treatments but my results show different. I find it unethical to sign a contract and pay the amount of money that I have paid to them and for them to not uphold their end of the contract. If I had known their staffing, scheduling and communication challenges prior to I would have looked elsewhere. read more

As long as you make your next appointment at the end of your current appointment, you shouldn't have too many issues finding a time. They are very busy so you do need to book a decent amount of time in advance. The laser sessions can be painful, but the technicians are very kind and help you through it. BEWARE!! BEWARE!! I honestly don't know how Ideal Image stays in business after reading so many horrendous reviews. A class action lawsuit needs to start immediately! Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before allowing Leah (a telephone sales rep out of Winston Salem repping for the Charlotte office) to scam me over the phone for my credit card number. We tried to have a zoom appointment but that failed and we were disconnected after a brief conversation. So we continued with a simple phone conversation. During the phone conversation I stated that I wanted an appointment anytime the following week in the Charlotte office. Leah said sure I just need to get your credit card information to set an appointment. She said she would send a link over for me to enter my card number. I get the link and she tells me to scroll to the very bottom and click... like an idiot I did exactly that. This continues three times, me not being told what this is. I finally get to the credit card information an enter it. Leah says great, let me call you right back with your appointment. I waited 20 minutes and didn't hear anything. I called the Charlotte office to schedule and the girl who answered said they have no available appointments for several months!! I called Leah back immediately and she didn't answer. So I emailed her immediately and asked her to cancel my credit card charge for $1,511.00 I finally get a call back a few hours later and she said she didn't know that Charlotte had no available appointments. Fine... but refund my credit card. She said once again let me call you back. She called back that evening and left a voicemail to say she could get me into another location 45 minutes away in 3 weeks. I emailed her and kindly asked again, please refund my credit card. A few days passed and my credit card was charged. I emailed Leah and she didn't reply. Called her and left a voicemail and she finally called me back to say she would have her manager call me. Her manager called and had the audacity to say I signed a contract, yet I had no idea that what I was scrolling down to clink was a contract because Leah failed to mention anything about a contract!! Leah said it was for my credit card information and something about "a lifetime warranty" program... NEVER any mention of a contract! Fortunately for me I have contacted American Express and explained this scam, but I have also contacted my attorney if Idea Image wants to fight American Express. My past couple appointments have been canceled. Every time I try to book they tell me they have to put me on a waiting list. Ever since I've paid all my money they will not get me an appointment. If I would have known this I would have went somewhere else. I have been using ideal image services since 2013 and got a good professional service. Though the services are pricey I stick to it due to moment of inertia and comfort. Today I had very bad experience with my touch up appointment. On date of appointment they couldn't find my schedule as I had completed the credit card consent in timely manner. So when I asked they mentioned I needed to completed the additional step just within 10 mins of appointment schedule call, otherwise the appointment will be cancelled automatically, which I had no idea. So long story short, I had literally dragged myself from work for this appointment, only to know that my appointment got cancelled automatically and no appointments available on same day. I hope they are more transparent and honest on what offices have to offer for scheduling and treatment. Per contract, it is non refundable and all services should be executed before 6 months. The contract can be extended but Whooh getting in contact with corporate is the opposite of fun! The customer service department will take weeks to contact you back and each department is segregated so there's no point speaking with anyone besides the subject matter expert. Buyer beware - and read the small print. Ideal image is unable to support their client demand. In other words, they charge you an outrageous amount of money. Then, they are unable to fit you into the calendar for appointments. And someone will call you when an appointment opens up - ha! Further, if you do not complete your package in one year, you are out of luck and stuck with a payment that yields nothing. But wait, if you want to accumulate more debt, the business will happily charge you per visit to continue what they could not complete in the first place! Their theoretical capacity to provide services offered is similar to oceanfront property in Arizona. In closing, do not get sucked into their marketing scheme and purchase multiple areas for removal or cool sculpting because that will consume more time and require an extended appointment they will not have available. Call them after im vaccinated and it's hard to get an appointment. I had to "renew my contract" again and go to their location in Winston Salem just to get an appointment in September (so now I pay $$$ for hair removal and $$ to drive out of town to get a session) And oh by the way, if you are late they cancel the appointment (reasonable, so I get it), but at the WS location I had to wait a whole hour after my appointment time to be able to see the provider. And then call the Charlotte office to schedule my next appointment and they have nothing in October or November? And said they would call me back? And that my contract will have to be renewed again. No one has called me back to schedule me. I'm definitely not getting my money's worth. I thought of this as an investment in myself. They were able to schedule me immediately when I first went in to pay and rushed me through the contract . But since then, it's been impossible to get an appointment within a 2 month period. What's the point of paying a few thousand (that's right, their fees run to thousands and they make you pay ALL of it upfront) to be hair free if you a) can't get enough appointment to be hair free and b) your contract keeps expiring all the time? Why have us pay upfront then? Have a pay as you go option. Very unprofessional. Seems like a scam and I feel taken advantage of. Find another place for your laser hair removal needs.
