The initial sessions were effective, but the company has some seriously shady business practices. I signed a contract in 2023 that clearly stated touch-up sessions for hair removal would be $40 each. However, when I arrived for my appointment, I was suddenly told the price had increased to $70 per session at 75% increase with no prior notice. When I asked about the change, both the associate and manager claimed that "corporate" had raised prices. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Good while it lasts, I didn't want to give a bad review, I really didn't, treatment was effective however I have to remind people that treatment you purchase do expire. I bought 5 treatment of BBL(for freckle treatment), used 3 and I did see the result, however the result only last for about a year. And when I went back after a year to continue the treatment, and As I arrived the appointment, the staff told me my skin looked fine so I shouldn't be needing another treatment until months later but didn't remind me that my treatments are going to expired in few months. So I trusted them and left the appointment empty handed. Well today, they tell me that this was not included in my contract and just under my chin was included and everyone that was including that part in the past was wrong. Staffs were nice at the information/front desk when I walked into this place & offered me a bottle of water. My main concern was hyperpigmentation left from my acne but the online counselor suggested BBL to me (instead of laser), which it's more effective to treat redness/sun damage to try to get me to purchase their treatment. But my overall experience was good since the person (Priyanka P., RN)who treated my facial skin was well knowledgeable about the treatment (BBL) and answered all my questions honestly saying that BBL might not resolve my concern about the hyperpigmentation but will help to reduce my redness on my facial skin. As a result, I see my redness are all gone but just still have some mild hyperpigmentation (light drown). I highly recommend to get their BBL/IPL treatment if your main concern is redness! read more

I signed up for an LHR package in March of this year using a loan I was convinced to apply for. Then, after my first appointment, I was told that my chin was not eligible for treatment. I asked for my loan to be adjusted then so I wouldn't pay for anything I wasn't getting, and I believe it was. But after a while, I ran into financial trouble and decided I could no longer afford it on the whole, and it wasn't worth it. I contacted the loan company, Ally Lending, and they helped facilitate a partial refund for services I hadn't yet gotten. I saw that reflected in my loan amount, which is fine. Then I spoke to Ideal Image customer service about getting my money back for services that I had already received, and was told I would be getting a direct refund from them of $115. It's been two weeks, and after numerous attempts to contact the person I spoke to on the phone, I received a reply to my email that was frankly rude and unhelpful. It was just a screenshot with the amount of my refund circled in red, and the date it was apparently given. No explanation. However, I have no record whatsoever of that $115 being refunded on my end. The screenshot they sent me seems to state that it was processed, but I can't see it in my loan account, and it was not directly deposited back into my bank (which I was told would happen on the phone). I got no notification of being refunded. I have no idea where that money went, and my attempts to communicate with customer service have been frustrating to say the least. After reading everyone else's reviews, I regret being so impulsive and signing a contract with Ideal Image before seeing what their customer service was like. Absolutely horrible. I bought a Brazilian unlimited package for 16 months. But they don't tell you that you can only come when they allow you which is every 6-8 weeks. I left one visit with what looked like car lighter burns all over. I went to a different location the next time and the nurse commented on the marks from the burns from the last visit. I had to pay upfront so that is the only reason I went back at all. You'd think I'd get a call or offered a discount something for what they did. Anyway I'm now a couple months out from my last visit and have daily regrets. All the areas I wanted the hair gone still have hair. I now have very odd patchy hair spots. I paid a couple thousand $ and now have burn scars and look like I have some sort of hair disorder because of the random patches they left not properly treated still requiring me to shave regularly. read more

No refunds, even if the services are not available in your area, who cares if its 2 hours away from your house it available somewhere right??! :) 3. Next day I got into a lengthy text conversation about how electrolysis is my best option since hair lacks pigment. Booked consultation for Saturday morning, got at least 15 reminders in 3 days, drove an hour to get there to be told they don't do electrolysis. Similar experience with laser hair consultation, quoted a little over $3000 for a full face for laser of 9 sessions. After I paid for the laser (I still kick myself for spending this much when similar packages are $500 everywhere else), I went in only to be told they would not do certain areas on my face like cheek or a little behind the jaw area or between brows. That would have been fine if the sales person had disclosed that with me at consultation. She agreed to all the areas I mentioned to her but when I went to get the laser it was a different story. Either way, I ended up having the laser done but noticed my hair kept growing back 1 week to 2 weeks in. There was NO hair reduction; time would go by without hair for about 5 days and then stubble would come in and I'd be shaving consistently between sessions. I brought this up but obviously they said more sessions would clear that up. Fast forward to the 9th session and I mentioned I'd have to use of the 4 touch up sessions included in the package and was told that I already used that up... Apparently the 9 sessions were actually 5 sessions with 4 touch-ups... So I used up my "lifetime satisfaction touch-ups" without being informed. What's funny is they kept scheduling me as if this was me just completing the package. I try not to kick myself over this everyday since I was extremely new to laser at the time of my purchase so didn't know what options were out there, but Ideal Image is NOT transparent about pricing and swindles so much money out of you. Also, the consultation woman was extremely misleading and dishonest by not disclosing that the 9 sessions included the lifetime "touch-ups". AND, that the $3000 quote for full face was 50% off! Not to mention, all my hair grew back lol. This whole situation is a mess and to be honest I blame myself for not doing my research beforehand. I feel like all these reviews on yelp now are more recent and they describe similar experiences. Anyways, I went to another place to redo my laser on my face and also got a full body package (6 sessions) for LESS, I cannot believe I am saying this, but for LESS than what it cost to do my whole face. So they constantly push the " lifetime membership " that is / was $ 200 for the year. With this you received Botox units at a discount rate of $8.90 per unit and i free treatment of about 6or 7 that were offered as part of the membership. The membership renewed every year with the same package . I renewed my membership in September and payed $8.90 per unit of Botox at that appointment I made another appointment for 12/23/23 but canceled and called and rescheduled for 1/30/23. When i went in for my appointment the nurse who was doing the procedure informed me that the units are no longer at that price. They are now $10 per unit. There is no free treatment anymore , and when you renew your membership next year, it'll be $300 for the year. Obviously the lifetime membership or your yearly contract means nothing if they can change it in the middle of your contract. They said the rate of changed after Black Friday so I asked. Why didn't someone tell me this when I called to make the appointments? Why did you wait till I came in? They then proceeded to blame it on corporate the usual blah blah blah. , but if I wanted to buy 100 units upfront, they would honor the 890 price. In other words they wanted me to put up $900 and then just have it on hold until I needed to use the units. Obviously I did not get anything done and will never give that company anymore business or refer anyone to them. I just came here for a consultation for laser hair removal. The experience was really strange. When I arrived, a very friendly woman brought me back to discuss treatment options. She then brought me into a room and said a nurse would be with me to see if I was eligible. She returned and said that no nurses were available, and brought me back to discuss pricing and said I would consult with a nurse after. Here is where things got weird: I can't remember the price she quoted for my bikini area was, but it was somewhere in the range of $2000-$3000 for a package of four treatments and four touch ups. Each treatment was over $700. She said this was the 50% off price for today, and if I called to book later all the prices would double. At this point, I told her I had another consult scheduled somewhere else and her attitude cooled down a lot. She asked where the consult was, which struck me as a sort of unprofessional question to ask, and when I declined to answer she basically escorted me out. I never met with the nurse she originally mentioned. The price the other laser place quoted was $680 for a similar package, which is radically different than I was quoted here. I have been coming here for a while and was getting restylene silk to outline my lips. That product was recently removed suddenly, and replaced by Juvederm volbella. I wish there had been a time period that clients were notified and perhaps able to purchase that Restylane product. I did try the new product and it is fine but not as good for me personally as the Restylane silk. Juvederm volbella has been adequate but does not give the same definition in lining of your lip to the degree that Restylane did and that I prefer. If you are looking for just fullness, vobella is fine but for a strongly defined line I think Restylane silk is a better product. Vobella could be used for lines above the lips and to fill in fullness but for lining and correction/balancing/defining of your lip line, Silk is superior.. read more

Taylor was my check in lady and she was so sweet and extremely helpful. The client before me was running a bit behind, Taylor and I chatted the whole time, answered all my questions and alleviated some of my nervousness being this was my first time. Nadia was my nurse for the laser hair removal and she was OUTSTANDING! She kept it real with me, walked me through every step of the way, we even discussed in great detail my ancestry so we could figure out the correct laser for me. Never knew how much of your ancestry matter when it came to lasers and the affect of it! I gladly showed her my 23 & me, we looked at the percentages of a specific ethnicity I have, and determined the best way forward. EXTREMELY appreciated it! I specifically requested Nadia again for my future sessions. For those getting laser hair removal, it isn't terrible, but it's like a you're getting flicked in the area but flicked with heat but for just a second. I knew this girl was special because of the genuine nature and caring for ME the patient. I have been going to ideal for a little under 2. years. After my husband tragically passed away, I was in need of some loving care as I lost my lips. I have used other technicians in the past.. They were just "good".. Priyanka IS SPECIAL.. My results were great as I knew they would beL.. She went the extra mile using her HONEST opinion which, I thought was the sign of a great nurse. I am frankly shocked that she isn't in a dermatologist's office. She definitely needs to be. I hope this company knows they have a caring, professional, very classy young lady that strives for perfection with the patient. If she somehow leaves the company, I will probably follow her. Overall a good experience. Pro: I got 8 sessions on my armpit. Overall I dont see any hair, only see some light hair and an ingrown hair, its been 2 years. The technicians and receptionists were always welcoming and helpful. Cons: After a "70% discount" it was $1,500. I was a fool to agree on this amount, when there are other companies who offer cheaper services with the same experience and services. Also the main reason why I got this treatment was for this one stubborn ingrown hair. They treated it for the last 4 sessions then this sucker came back again after 1 year from all 8 sessions. I guess since "the body's hormone changes hair blah blah it might grow out again", its super annoying. Now if i want one session anytime for life it will cost $40 which is good, I guess. Pros: Staff is extremely nice and helpful The place is very nice, clean, staff is well trained. They are very accommodating - ice packs, water, bathroom stocked with toiletries. Cons: Spent $4000 for full face laser hair removal (includes lip, chin, cheeks, sideburns) It didn't work at all for me, so I still have to spend $ on waxing. This price was HALF OFF the original price of full face laser, and still crazy expensive. I went here because they're trustworthy, but it just didn't work for me (even though I have lighter skin and darker hair so they said it should work great) and was HUGE waste of money. Very hard to find street parking, I ended up paying for the parking garage each time. They do give you a discount card, but it still is pricey for parking for a half hour of time. Had a Broad band light procedure to remove dark spots on my face. This was my third treatment. After my second treatment a month ago, my face was very red on my upper checks near my eyes like a sunburn. It did subside over the next few days. I warned the technician of the reaction and to be careful near my eyes.. During the procedure, the area on my upper check was very sensitive and burning. I let her know this during procedure. After the procedure I needed an ice pack because my check was very red near my eye socket. I immediately put an ointment on face and applied the ice pack for 20 mins. As the day progressed I didn't pay much attention to it until the evening and noticed that the area was actually burnt and there were small blisters! I applied a burn cream and ice pack again. When I awoke the next morning, I could visually see my eye was swollen as if I had a trauma to my eye! I was happy with my skin and the results prior to this procedure.. Then when you come to the office, the door is closed, nobody's in and when you call the phone # on the door to get someone open that door- nobody picks up the phone. You are calling Ideal image main phone # to request cancellation of the account and stop charging for FAILURE TO PROVIDE SERVICE and all they say is We can't cancel your account or refund money. Please note that they take money from Ally Lending for the service you sign up and do not provide service. Investigation Request taking 30-60 days , within this time Ally Lenfing sends you statements and messages advising to pay for the service you never received. read more

I've had the worst experience with Ideal Image Liberty Place. I purchased a $6000, 16 month hair removal package. Ideal Image closed for covid for about 4 months, but when they re-opened they had very limited staff and did not answer their phones. I could not reach them to reschedule the appointment until the 6 month mark, i left 20+ voicemails over a 2-3 month period.. When I finally got in there, the front desk ladies told me they would credit me for 4 months. I did not agree, so i asked to speak with the manager, who was "not in at the time". She never called me back either! So, I hunted down her email and literally emailed Amy Battaglia, the Office Manager, a total of 6 times between October & December, 2020 and she has yet to answer my question of: When does my package now expire ? I should have a 6 month credit. They literally refuse to respond. Then on Saturday February 27th, 2021, I had an appointment for my hair removal. I drove from NJ into Philly, I pay to park, I showed up 10 minutes early at 10:10am for my 10:20am appointment. I wait outside 5 minutes before someone greets me at the door, they tell me to hold on, they come back another 5 minutes later and proceed to tell me my appointment has been "AUTO CANCELLED". What the heck does Auto Cancelled mean? I'm standing in your office for my appointment time slot, 10 minutes early and you "CAN'T FIT ME IN"????? They literally told me they couldn't fit me in for my appointment and I just drove from NJ to come there!! I never got a call or email asking to confirm or to cancel the appointment! --I am a reliable person who paid $6,000 for a hair removal package, why would they auto cancel me, with out calling me?? So, I say to the young lady, can you please put me in for Monday? The response is "NO, I can't reschedule you, because we don't have the schedule released to us yet". Now if Ideal Image had any sort of common curtesy or customer support, they would have called me Monday to make sure I got an appreciate time slot. But 3 more days have gone by and I haven't heard from them. So not only has 5 months gone by and I can't get an honest answer out of them about the covid shut down time frame credits I am due. But on top of that, I am now wasting more time, energy, and wasted money down the drain because I am not being provided the services I paid for! And can't even get an appointment with them. Disappointed My wife started in the ideal image in miami fl i was convince by the customer service representative that day and they told me is a guaranteed that the hair don't grow back so I was convinces so we started over there for her treatment for upper lip area my mistake was that I paid for the treatment cash we transfer to Philadelphia to finish her treatment but her hair still grow back and her treatment was only the upper lip area i ask why still grow back and they don't know why and she follow the treatment like they told her. My August appointment went as smoothly (if not more so) than my prior appointment. Arrived on time, was seated and they offered me a beverage and a snack and within 5 minutes I was in the back receiving my treatment. The treatment time was minimal and done professionally and courteously. My next appointment is actually next week :) I don't think I mentioned last time that they offer validated parking if you park in the garage associated with the mall. There is also ample street parking though. As an aside: Now that the summer is over (where they advertise 40-60% off a summer package), I think my only gripe with Ideal Image itself (not this location) is that they seem to advertise a 60% off discount ALL year round sooooo it's not really a discount... read more

I work approximately 14+ hours daily six days a week- with VERY limited amount of time to spare or WASTE! 1- Scheduled three weeks ahead and requested for a late evening Dysport Consult/Procedure and I had specifically asked about wanting an appointment where I would be able to get the procedure done immediately following the consult (Please note:I've gotten Dyport and other injectables before procedure follows upon completion of consult/brief medical history) - They charge by the area not by the syringe or units. - Was told that I had to schedule another appointment for the actual injection because the nurse who administers the injections left early for the day. By far this place FUCKING rocks.. The staffs are extremely (EXTREMELY) pleasant like over the top pleasant and joyful , but not over the top of annoyance. If you know what I mean. From the moment I walk in to "check in" for my appointment I get greeted and ask if I would like anything to drink with a huge lovely smile. I've been going this area for three treatments now and things are looking great. The laser hair removal process is so easy and quick. The Nurses who normally administer the laser treatment always ensure that I am comfortable with every "ZAP" and she makes sure that my pain level is tolerable according to the "level" of laser I'm receiving. 10-20 mins I'm in and out hair free.
