Sad to say I had my Brazilian and underarms done and with how much they had turn over and the inconsistent training (sometimes my treatment would be 5-8 minutes fast and then sometimes the girls did great and took their time and we're through 20-30 minutes) I still have hair growing! Yes it grows at a slower rate but I didn't pay thousands to have my hair grow slower I paid to remove it. Then I've heard 3 different prices for how much I have to pay to do touch ups since it wasn't taken care of in the 16 month treatments and every time I talk to someone the price goes up and they cannot mathematically give me a calculation. Very disappointed with Ideal Image in Peoria! I went there for Broad Band Lighting procedures. After my consultation for sun spots on my face I was told I was a great candidate for BBL and so the procedures were scheduled and paid for in full. I spent a lot of money and after 4 sessions/visits, I saw no improvement. During my fourth visit and my concerns expressed, I was told that maybe I should see a dermatologists. Was told during the second treatment that I could put a numbing cream on so I asked for some then they told me oh you have to get the prescription, have it mailed to your home, put it on before you come but it isn't guaranteed to numb the entire area. read more

A couple years back I went in to get laser hair removal treatment. The price was super expensive, but the sales lady swore they had the best technology for hair removal and it was guaranteed a lifetime, so I could go back for touch ups as needed. The fine print was, and of course she didn't mention it would be $60 each time for a small area touch up after I spent a couple thousand for this already. I had an appointment scheduled today for a touch up and they called me a half hour before to let me know they raised the prices and it will now be a $100 each time for a small area touch up! I can't believe this company is still in business with how they screw people over and over charge for services. The lady apologized and said she was sorry they just found out about the price raise and was having to call and notify the customers. The staff were always super sweet and professional, but after paying $2k for a package that didn't even provide permanent results, and now hiking the price up for touch ups is a rip off. Don't let this company fool you, and con you into overpaying for a service. Go elsewhere to get the same results for less than half the price! read more

Very good at selling you products and making you pay, and I guess good at explaining to you what you think you're getting but at the end it's a different story. If zero stars are possible that's what they'd get! In June I foolishly had an online COVID "consultation" (no video, just voice) for laser hair removal and feel duped I bought a total body package! I have light hair, but lower legs, bikini & under arms aren't white-blonde, so I wasn't sure if I was a good candidate or not. Despite NOT seeing me, the sales person (in OHIO!) Krystina, was really good at selling & before I knew it, I was being pre-approved for a $4,500 loan and sold a total body package sight unseen! Krystina assured me that when I went in if I was not a good candidate I would be told & wouldn't be obligated to the contract. I made my first payment before I even had a treatment! A month later I went in for full treatment but they said they were short staffed and didn't have the time so I only got bikini treated. In the meantime I had a dermatologist appointment, and when my doctor found out I had been sold a full body laser hair removal package she said she would have never sold that to me because I am not a good candidate, my hair is too light, and I probably won't see results. Weeks later when rest of body could be scheduled, I asked the laser tech about my coloring, she agreed my hair is too light, didn't treat me, said she'd contact corporate, and I'd be getting a call to figure out what to do. I will say both techs I saw were very friendly and knowledgeable. There is no manager on-site, and when I was able to acquire regional manager's name, Christiana White, she will not call me back despite multiple attempts calling her and leaving messages. It's September now, I'm coming up on a third payment for a service I am not a candidate for! Pure B.S.!!! This is the first negative review I have written. Location is great , however I feel this place is a SCAM!!!!! Went and did a consultation for laser hair removal- 3 areas, upper lip, under arm and Brazilian- after the nurse consulted that my hair was good for laser treatments, I met with a lady who was nice however tried to offer me a 7k laser treatment bill!!!!! Like really 7k?! Then she did some typing on her computer and said she could get it down to between 4 and 5k... I advised this was too much and I would have to think about it , miraculously I received a text the next day saying that they could get the price down to 2k for my requested areas. Really did you just think I was gonna PAY 7k TO YOU!!!!! Will never ever ever go back or trust them. If you would of told me 2k from the beginning, you may just have my business just because your location is ideal. I went in there to get prices for the Black Friday special they were having. Everything was great until it was time to talk about prices. The consultant pressured me so much and when I told her that I had to think about committing myself to those prices she belittled me and said "you can't pay that a month?" After her attitude I did not want to have services here and I declined the offer. The consultant immediately switched her tone and was completely rude. She tried to kick me out of there so fast that she did not even give me back my ID. On top of all of this she wrote my social security number down on a paper! I told her to shred it and she did not want to do it in front of me. I have to say the gal who did my service was professional and knew what she was doing however, the finance gal Rachel left a lot to be desired. I asked if they accepted care credit and she told me they financed through Green Sky and that it was just another finance option like care credit. NOT TRUE! It was a loan that gave me 7,000 instead of only the 1,200 I wanted to finance. Please ask questions because she led me to believe it was 12 months no interest but failed to give me the small print details. GreenSky has less than desirable reviews... I went home and did the research and contacted Green Sky who said Ideal Image could reverse the charges if I chose to pay another form of payment. I contacted Rachel immediately the next day and when I couldn't get a call back I went to see her personally. Rachel told me she didn't know how to reverse the transaction with Green Sky so I could give her an alternate full payment but assured me it would happen once she touched basis with her finance department. I NEVER heard from Rachel again. It was poor customer service And very deceptive, when I explained the horrible reviews to Rachel she simply stared at me with no response and then politely stated the reverse charges would happen and it never did. I was ready to pay in full that very day and she refused my payment until she reversed the Green Sky transaction which tells me she knew it was never going to happen. Beware of signing what is NOT fully explained. I know I should have read but again it should be made clear what you are signing for. I was told it was a line of credit not a loan I didn't need or want that was now a ding on my credit . I paid the ridiculous loan in full two weeks later and I will never deal with deceptive companies like Ideal Image again. read more

I've been meaning to write a review for this location forever. The cost of service is a tad high, but you 100% get what you pay for. The customer service is impeccable too. Every time I walk in to check-in they offer me a beverage and they always have a stacked coffee bar. My specific nurse, crystal, is the sweetest woman ever. Cool Sculpting client - 10/28 - areas treated - hips and lower abs. I am certainly going to give it more time... as suggested during my follow up appointment. Right now... I am not at all happy with my results. I just completed my "after" photo's and saw very-very little improvement in my lower abs and zero improvement in my hips. I actually think they look worse in the "after" photo. I am going to be patient and see how it goes over the next 6-8 weeks and perhaps gaining a couple pounds (yes just a couple) over the Holiday didn't help. I expected WAY more noticeable results from this procedure at this point. I am an avid gym member and have about 15lbs to loose... to be Skinny! I am not a couch potato expecting this to be a miracle cure for my stubborn areas. I work out with a trainer 2 days a week at my gym as well as classes the other 3 days and weight training. The employees here are super nice and helpful and really convinced me this procedure would help in those stubborn areas. I sure hope they are right and I see results soon. The price is very expensive and I am now paying for this service every month and I cringe every time I send off my payment to Ideal Image. so far... extremely disappointed in Cool Sculpting.... and I have a huge bill to pay back. :( read more

In regards to my experience with ideal image and the cool sculpting . I will not be returning to ideal image for any further treatments nor will I ever recommend them to anyone else that i know. During my consultation they were very misleading. I remember specifically discussing having two treatments purchased. I was even offered prices for one treatment vs two treatments and had the option to wait to purchase the second. I said I wanted two treatments and was under the impression that I was moving forward with that purchase. During my treatment in May the nurse even stated how good I was going to look after my next treatment and after I was finished and we were scheduling my next appointment she stated the next treatment would be at 8 weeks and we would scheduled it before I left. This whole time it was explained verbally to me that what I purchased was two treatments. They manipulated me and changed what I was agreeing to without me actually agreeing to it. The sales people are very clever and good at convincing you that you are getting a great deal and moving you through the paperwork and having you sign for something you did not agree to verbally. The treatment i received from Jessica over the phone was also very rude and condescending. Asking me why I signed the paperwork. I signed the paper work that we discussed verbally because I trusted her. That trust is now gone. I was scheduled for a second treatment that mysteriously needed to be rescheduled at the last min and when I call back I was told that it is for something else. This I believe was also part of their scam. They scheduled me for that appointment 8 weeks ago stating it was going to be another 4 hour treatment. I received amazing customer service during my consultation from corinna but the prices are definitely not ideal nor reasonable. I was quoted $1500 for underarms at 50% off. However I had called during the 60% off promotion and wasn't given that price until I had said I was about to leave. "well it looks like you had the 60% off promotion, let me print you out the knew price". Not okay, I should have been given the 60 % off promotion from the start. Even though it was still $ 1100. Underarms is a small area, I can't imagine what you charge for a large area. Yes, they offer monthly payment plans. However, I am not going to do that just to be charged interest on top of that. I looked elsewhere and found somewhere that uses the cadella lasers and changes the settings each time for 9 treatments for $200. The markup is ridiculous, and their competition has them beat. read more

I'm currently getting laser hair removal from Ideal Image and previously had coolsculpting about two months ago. I don't have any complaints about the laser hair removal yet.... and really my review is more on the service not on the actual procedures. When I first went into my consultation for the cool sculpting in my abdomen area I was evaluated by two different people and was told I was a good candidate so I went ahead and agreed to have the procedure done and we got financing set up and scheduled an appointment. It was determined I was going to need two sessions. So the first session was done in November 2017 about two months ago and I have not seen no difference yet, which in all honesty I think it is too soon to actually determine if there even is going to be a difference. I just recently went in for my second session and when the lady was going to start on the cool sculpting this time she kept touching and looking around my belly button, she called in another "nurse" and she looked at my belly button as well. They both said that it looked like I have an umbilical hernia and that they would not be performing the procedure on me without a doctors note since they said that the cool sculpting can aggravate the hernia more or that if it was determined that I have a hernia I would get my money refunded for both sessions. The lady asked me if my belly button was like that since before the cool sculpting or if it got like that since after I had the first procedure and I told her it was like that since before, which I am pretty sure they can look at my before pictures and see that my belly button protuded our the same way. So I went to the doctors and it was determined that I do indeed have a hernia. I got my doctors note and took it to them for which they said I would be getting a call back to explore my options (either get refunded or credit it towards something else). When I did get the call back they told me they would only refund the amount for the session that I had not received and the session I had already received was not going to be refunded at all because I would still "benefit" from the procedure even if I have a hernia. She said that she didn't know where the confusion came from about the "nurse" telling me I would be refunded for both sessions. I honestly feel like I should have been refunded the full amount because I feel like I was deceived into getting the procedure even though I was not a good candidate. It honestly just feels like they want your money. If the "nurses" that evaluated me would have told me from the beginning that I was not a good candidate or that there was a possibility of a hernia then I would have never agreed to the procedure. Not only did I waste my time and money but they also put my health at risk, which above all is most important. Right now it's too early on after the procedure to see if the cool sculpting will affect my hernia but I don't see much of a "benefit" to the cool sculpting like the person I spoke with said I would have if they just aggravated my hernia more. I should have read some of the reviews on here because from the looks of it it looks like they care more about the money not their customers being satisfied. read more

I went to this location for a laser hair removal underarm treatment consultation. This was not a typical consultation...I would say, in total, it lasted roughly 5 minutes. The only time my underarm hair was even glanced at was when I showed the specialist a current underarm irritation. I was under the impression that it would be a more thorough evaluation being that you are literally melting hair out of your armpits...She just asked me what type of deodorant I used, how I currently remove my underarm hair and if sensitivity is immediately after shaving or when the hair regrows. My hair was not checked or looked at, and my skin was not examined. I feel like that should have been a big part of the consultation, and it concerned me that it wasn't. I don't think it should have been expected of me to ask either. Again, I was under the impression that this free consultation (can I emphasize CONSULTATION?) was to customize a road map for MY personal treatment. I was just given a general overview of the procedure, which was helpful in understanding the process but did not ease any of the worries I had before arriving for the consultation. Maybe had I agreed to offer up some money my skin would have been evaluated prior to the procedure and I would have been given more of her time, but I felt very pressured to have a decision right then and there despite having stated in my communication prior that I was not looking to get anything done following consultation. When I finally made it clear that I would not be following through with the procedure, communicating that I did not want to make an impulsive decision, I just got stared at, and there was this unnecessary silence. I felt like it was a "What do you mean you need to think about it?" type of look. Like, it was almost offensive to her that I decided not to follow through with the treatment. There was no talk of side effects, aftercare - nothing about the procedure that explained how I would be personally effected by the treatment. I shouldn't have had to ask for that information in a consultation. That IS what a consultation should be. And I shouldn't have had to agree to a payment plan to get that information either. Overall, this was a waste of my time, and I am disappointed in how I was treated by this particular specialist. read more
