Booking touch ups is a huge challenge. You can't book online, you have to call and even then it has to be within two weeks. And falls mostly go to voicemails. They hound you when you are a new customer. But make it hard for touch ups for lifetime members. read more

I did what a lot of people do, which was to submit my interest in an Ideal Image procedure online. Within minutes, a rep for Ideal Image called me. Before I knew it, I was signed up for a procedure and a loan agreement. My fault. I could have said no. After I was scheduled, I read reviews on Yelp and BBB. I also read the explanation of each procedure, which included possible side effects and that payments are non-refundable. Neither of these very important factors is mentioned at the time of payment and scheduling. The possible side effects make me extremely anxious, and now I no longer want the procedure. I began texting and having conversations on the phone several weeks ago in an effort to cancel both my contract and loan. Marie was my first contact. After Marie, I received two more calls from reps trying to convince me of the safety of the procedure. While I'm sure many people have no side effects, the possibility of side effects is scary to me, and I don't feel I should have to be locked into a contract that wasn't fully explained in the first place. I recieved the best customer service today!!! Not only did the staff (Kristen Ricker) explain everything in detail she made sure I found the right financing to fit my needs. Shelli Brookfield worked her magis to fit all my services in as soon as possible, and Madison Arango made changes to her day off so she can fit part of my services in. I am so excited to start my Coolscupt, Cooltone, and ultheraphy journey! I have had botox, BBL and ultheraphy on my forehead and have had great results! The only issue I do have is with the new membership policy. I have been a member for 4/5 years and we alway got 1 treatment free from a list of specific treatments, and got discounted botox with no mins... now we don't get the free treatment and there are botox mins... so we are paying for a discount? I dont know that I will renew next time. I will have to really think about it. This did not deter me from getting signed up tho. read more

FOLLOW UP from my review and experience on May 27, 2021 (read my 5/25/21 review below for background). Conveniently, after I left my BBB review, someone from their customer service department called to apologize for my experience. I was told I would receive a refund and asked if I would remove my review. Later on, I received a Release Agreement contract stating that, in order to receive my refund, I would remove all of my reviews within 5 days of signing the contract. Keep in mind - my review is 100% FACTUAL and based on my actual experience with this fraudulent company. They basically steal your money. I paid for services in March 2021. I still have not gotten the hair removal they made an appointment and when i got there they said i missed my appointment time. (This was in June) and then scheduled my new appointment in September saying they don't have space. They won't refund your money and it's expensive. I have been a "member" of ideal image for several years. Member being they charge you $250 annually to receive discounts on their services and give you a "free" service. The problem with the free service which they don't tell you at the time is that most all (BBL, cool tone, cool sculpting) all require multiple visits to be effective. Cooltone especially requiring visits fairly close to once another. For the close to 4 years I've had a membership they never have calendar availability to set these appointments up in a way that is effective for the service. I've spent hours on the phone having to call back to see if calendars "open up". Every time my contract has expired and they have to renew it to just fulfill the remaining appointments. And every time they are way beyond the recommended weekly intervals for Cooltone. I went to a Cooltone appointment in January of 2023 because they had a cancellation. At the time they had no appointments and had to extend contact. They looked at end of session and still had no appointments but said I could use their app daily to see if I could get any last minute cancellations. They also said they'd call when the next months calendars opened. They never called....On 4/14 I was confirming my BBL appointment and asked if any openings had come open to be told, oh, your contract expired 3/29/2023. Of course I asked them to reopen it because it's $1000's of dollars for the treatments. Stacey said she'd have to ask a manager as she couldn't do this. I received a voicemail on 4/13/23 saying "our manager said no, you've had too many missed appointments, but she'd be happy to give you good pricing to purchase an appointment". Needless to say I was not thrilled. In almost 3 years I cancelled, with notice, 2 appointments, one because I tested positive for COVID, which not having severe symptoms I could have just gone, but did the right thing and didn't. The second was due to a family emergency. I've never had to pay a cancellation fee, never didn't give notice. The manager (Lauren) didn't even call herself, asked Stacey to call. I think in total between buying packages for Cooltone, Cool sculpting, and BBL, and the memberships, I have spent close to $4000. I have no positive before and afters in either skin or Coolsculpting/Cooltone treatments and have only continued doing them to try and get the ml he spent, even though they would never be successful as the recommended intervals aren't even an option. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. There is always turnover, you can't call the office directly, the appointment scheduling is so challenging. The nurses always agree and say that they know, they are getting more staff. Please, there are so many places in Richmond to get treatments like these. Don't go to Ideal Image. The member deal isn't even a deal when you can never take advantage of going. If there was a negative rating, this company would receive a triple negative. My advice to anyone seeking any kind of service from Ideal Image, buyer beware. I can't negativity rate the Glen Allen facility but I can definitely provide insight to the business overall. First, DO NOT agree to anything verbal or in writing. Secondly, do your homework and search past and current customer experiences. Thirdly, DO NOT do any financing with Ideal Image, you will be crawling into bed with their partners in crime. Now let me get down to the full description of awareness of the company. Once they have you obligated to their contract it is a pattern to schedule and cancel appointments with no explanation. They really do not want to work with the client's schedule, seems like everything has to be scheduled in the morning. So beyond not being able to keep scheduled appointments due to their consistent cancelling, if you financed the services with their partners in crime, Ally Financial, you are falling further in the quick sand. Ideal Image will contact you to a point where it becomes borderline harassment to work a deal with you. DO NOT address to any discount deals! Once you agree, they have you hook and sinker. The discounted agreement is just criminal. They want to place a gage order on you so strict it is unreal. Within the discount agreement if you have written any reviews on the company you have 5 days to remove any postings or the agreement is null and void. Within this agreement, if signed, you cannot sue or get any compensation should the company cause any damage to your body during services being rendered. In the agreement they called themselves 'Ideal Image Medical Center'. Granted if your physician caused damage to your body with permanent scaring wouldn't you think you could sue that doctor for malpractice? Well not Ideal Image and they will not cancel your contract with them either. They will refer you back to the contract you signed. But yet they are providing services that are inline with medical procedures; temporary or permanent. If you continue to question their services and practices they will give the worst attitude you would ever encounter. Once I pointed out the fact they call themselves a 'medical center' and do not want to take responsibility for any damage done to you and you have no recourse was very disturbing. Then you have the predatory contract and financial lending. Once I launched a complaint with the financing company, Ally Finacial, I started receiving phone calls from Ideal Image Headquarters wanting to see how they could 'fix' the issue. Interesting when I called headquarters I could get through to talk to anyone, being switched from area to area and placed on hold for hours to then be disconnected from the call. Needless to say once I was able to connect the dots of Ideal Image and Ally Financial's relationship, and stated that I wanted to consult my lawyer with the agreement before signing. It was only then when the rep obliged me with cancelling that predatory contract and returning Ally Financial the money they took up front for services that had never started. Very unprofessional. I haven't been here since before Covid and my very first and last appointment back was terrible. From the minute I walked in the door eight minutes after the appointment time I was told by ZOE I'm to late and there's nothing they can do. After driving over 35 mins across town in a Monday down 288 at 8 in the morning when traffic is crazy. I ask didnt they do courtesy calls saying "hey are you almost here" when time was near or even a grace period and the response back was we are already half way through your appointment and the next appointment is scheduled in 10 mins so there's nothing that can be done. No EMPATHY at all and then she had the nerve to tell me that NOBODY ELSE is ever late. I then asked to speak to someone else because she clearly wasn't trying to help from the minute I got there and her first response was nobody else is back there. I called her out on that and then she switched and said well they're not gonna be able to help you out or get you seen today. She eventually got someone else to speak to me after i told her I didn't care if they could get me in today I just didn't want to talk to her anymore and wanted to speak to someone else. I concur with many of the other reviewers. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. However, they are poorly trained, lack experience of any kind and have limited knowledge of what they are doing. They are hastily trained in the office then placed immediately seeing patients and performin procedures. They are certified RN's however have little to no clinical training or experience outside of the brief office training on the highly technical procedures. I had booked an appointment a month and a half in advance to have it canceled the day before due to lack of staffing. The next appointment I could make due to lay offs actually l of staffing was a month in the future. Having worked for Allergan Botox Sales force. I am fully aware of expected results. When I first started coming here earlier this year it was very short staffed but now they have new trainees that are soo nice. Do NOT go here the people in charge will manipulate you into signing contracts and will then treat you terribly once you sign! All this place does is lie to you to get your money. They won't remind you of appointments. They will tell you that you will have a lifetime membership to get treatments done on what you have paid for, however, if you miss an appointment the truth will really come out(even if you cancel ahead of time). When you miss an apt here they will then tell you that you will have to pay extra on top of the hundreds you have already spent for sessions you have already paid for. This place is so poorly managed. Today I went in for an apt. made a cup of coffee and was waiting to be seen. After a few minutes I was told they couldn't treat me since I had my son with me who wasn't 13 and that I would have to leave. I was very frustrated that I wasn't told this policy until I was there. It was only after I asked to speak to a manager that I was told the manager could watch my son. I did not want that because why couldn't she have offered to to that before I was told to leave. When I told them how I was annoyed at all the things that have happened and wanted my money back for the sessions I haven't used I was treated extremely poorly. All the employees left the front waiting are to go behind a curtain to talk about me. They left me and my son in the waiting room alone for 20 minutes. When another customer walked in they then decided to be more professional and ask if I wanted to wait somewhere else. I did not at that point. As I was leaving all the employees ganged up on me and gave me terrible looks. As I was walking out the door I was told by the front desk lady that I was "so rude". She also made a comment about my 2 year old son inferring I was a bad mom. When I responded to her to tell her to not get involved since she isn't a manager and that I was going to write about this experience on social media she threatened to call the police. Then the manager then said she would call the police when I was responding to the front desk lady's comments. This place is a joke! I can't even believe any of this happened! When I got in the car I called to get the number of a regional manager. They refused to give me the number of the regional manager to call because they know they were wrong. I was told whatever number I called I would always be transferred to their store, since they are in Richmond. When I asked if she was really refusing to give me the number she said she didn't know one but I could probably find the number in my contract. When I told her to forget it I would just look online she told me to hold on and made me wait for 5 minutes just to say "it's 1-800- BE- IDEAL." She had to have known this the whole time. Thousands of dollars. They have canceled multiple appts since they can't keep employees. But they don't open their calendars to do so, then they tell you to call at the first of the month at 8am to get an appt for that month and I did exactly that and nope, can't book for two months out. I got cool sculpting done not long time ago, under my butt cheeks, first of all one side is completely different from the other one, one side you can see that the fat was taken off but it didn't even blend in with the rest of my leg fat, it looks ridiculous, on my second leg, it didn't take any fat at all... my legs just looks so uneven and bad, I wish I was told that this could happen, this was the biggest mistake of my life, they didn't even offer to fix it, because they don't know how and they can't promise me that they can make it look better, so much for years of experience lol, such a waste of money! 2500 k for this treatment, still paying for it even tho I'm very disappointed. read more

They happened to find me an appt at 11:40...after I drove an hour..the front counter clerks were rude and didn't seem to care that they inconvenience my time.
