In my frustration, I hopped onto Yelp and submitted a project request for a fabricator in my area. This turned out to be a HUGE blessing because we received several responses but the one that stood out the most was Greg from GT Stone Works. He quickly responded to my inquiry and was the most pleasant, respectful and incredibly thorough person we spoke with. He was highly knowledgeable about all things countertops and could not only answer all of our questions, but also asked us questions to help us think of things we hadn't thought about. We knew right away that we wanted to work with him and boy, are we so glad we did! Greg walked us through the entire process, was even super patient when we realized midway between his driving to us that we had to postpone the measuring until the sink was installed (we were newbies!), had solid vendors he uses to source the materials, and thoroughly communicated with us throughout the process. We decided to go with quartzite and he even FaceTimed us to make sure we were happy with where he was cutting out the pieces to get us precisely what we envisioned. If you in the market for a countertop, look no further than Greg. He will take care of you every step of the way and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Annie and Robert came and measured our kitchen and provided computer generated sketches for us to approve. Their on-site installation crew are also fantastic. He is a natural stone expert! Our kitchen is now 12 years old and it is used like a kitchen -- we do not just order takeout and throw things in the fridge. Kitchen use = granite abuse. Art sets realistic goals. You cannot make something that is heavily used and abused into something brand new again, but that does not mean you have to let it fall behind either. We found out that our bathroom shower wasn't sealed correctly and were faced with having to re-do our bathroom. We started the process looking at Floor and Decor which was fine but felt impersonal. My husband suggested we stop by Glendale Tiles and Tops which is in our neighborhood. It was there that we found our dream tile for the shower statement wall. Martin and Abel were the team who did demo, tiling, constructing the new shower etc. They were lovely to work with. Martin is a very talented tile installer and Abel was his right hand man, always professional and hard working. They set up and protected our floors every day, were very clean and considerate and maybe most importantly did an excellent job. The electrician and the shower door guys that were brought in by the team were also very kind and good at what they do. Whenever we hit a snag or problem - for instance we had to figure out placement of the mirrors and that was a bit of a puzzle, Sam would come by noodle on the problem until we came to a solution. We ended up buying a vanity base and Sam made the vanity top - we used the same quartz on the shower bench, looks great. I couldn't be happier with the final result. It's truly a dream bathroom and we had a wonderful experience.

Immediately after…read morereaching out, Graham was in touch about a consultation call, talking about what we were looking for, different styles, and got us a quote more or less immediately. Having seen what they'd done for other clients, we didn't have much doubt and pulled the trigger and couldn't be happier we did. They put together some renderings for us with measurements and notes, and when a couple of the items weren't quite what we envisioned they immediately changed the renderings to our specs and sent over the new revisions. They really worked with us to ensure that the product we got was the one that would make us happiest. It took about 3 months for us to receive the final product, but once we did it was beautiful, even better than what we'd pictured. It's definitely the centerpiece of our conference room and almost every client remarks on it. I also want to add that only a few weeks in, we had a brief issue where some epoxy fell from a slot in the bottom of the table. It wasn't anything structural, and it happens from time to time so I mostly just wanted to make sure we got it repaired. I called up Graham and he made it happen immediately. Since we're based in San Diego and PW is in LA, he found a solid woodworker down here and arranged for him to come (at cost) and fix it up for us, which made us feel really valued as a customer. Overall, definitely recommend these guys and their product. The next time I need a custom piece, I'll definitely return!

Throughout the entire process, Mike was very professional and the level of expertise he exhibited was obvious. Before Mike, I had met with 3 other contractors to compare services and quotes but what sealed the deal for me was the 3D render service Mike offered. It was affordable and it would be free if you end up going with MDM for your remodel. Mike was able to get the renderings to me very quickly and made adjustments whenever we wanted to change something. Seeing the details of the renderings really brought what we were envisioning to life and helped with the design process. Fast forward to beginning of demo/construction, Mike's employees were impressively fast and efficient at their jobs, but what really impressed me was how clean they kept our property after each day of work. And that stated true throughout the entire process of our 7 month renovation. During construction, if there were any last minute changes, Mike would always try to cater to our needs whenever possible. Even if subcontractors made mistakes with anything, Mike would make sure it is fixed and perfect right away. Keep in mind, you can't rely on Mike for everything (as much as you might want to). You really do have to do your research (in terms of design, finishing materials, sourcing those materials, and getting them delivered on time) and know exactly what you want and how you want it, that way, Mike can plan and put into action what needs to be done. After this entire process, we are extremely happy we got this project completed with MDM. What really sets them apart is the quality of work, dependability, and the great people that work for MDM. Shoutout to Mario! They really respected our home and were very considerate of us during construction. Even after everything was finished, they guaranteed that they would come back and fix anything that needed fixing. Cannot recommend them enough if you want to improve or build your new home!

We wanted to get as much done as possible before moving in so we did not have to live with all the dust that goes into a kitchen remodel. We met with a few contractors including Ferney and received bids from all of them and nothing came close to the bid we received from Ferney. Also, the other contractors did not give us a clear price and told us that things could cost more as we got into the construction. With Ferney, we received a clear bid for the complete project and a timeline that he stood by as well. He managed to finish the kitchen on the day we were moving in which was unbelievable considering he did it in four weeks start to finish and stayed late on many nights throughout the project to make sure it was done on time. We also had to redo the flooring and paint throughout the entire house. I received many bids and many of the contractors were flaky or could not starts when we needed them to. Seeing that Ferney was doing a great job on the kitchen, I asked him to do the floors and paint the house as well and him seeing my frustrations with other contractors, he decided to take on those projects as well. I cannot say enough good things about Ferney. He stood by his words, delivered on time, and was honest throughout this whole process. We met as two people doing business together and became great friends throughout the process. I have referred Ferney to many of my friends and family and I would not hesitate to hire him for any other projects. Thank you Ferney for your hard work.

He took a lot of time for us to show us all the different options for cabinets, materials, etc. He came up with a great 3D model for our kitchen and he worked all of our needs and wishes into the model. The final kitchen even exceeded our expectation from the 3d model. Fer came back after a week to install an additional floating shelf we had come up with during construction.
