This is my third time seeing Jenny over the past eight years or so. Every time I go have a great experience. In the past, I've done the Microblading with combination brows, however, this time she showed me a newer technique called nano brows and can I say the results are just very natural realistic looking I get lots of compliments. When you come in the atmosphere is very chill, her daughter painted a mural on the wall and I think it is very beautiful. Her decor is cute. New Location is kind of hard to get to, parking is also difficult. I recommend take the train, especially if you're coming from Westchester area. She made me a Thai tea and gave me snacks as well. Very accommodating. Brow Sessions last around 2 1/2 hours. You go for one session, heal for around 4 to 6 weeks, and then come back for a perfecting session. Two words: Worth It!!!! I've had micro-blade brows in the past, first time in 2012... it was very painful. Then had a slightly better experience in 2018... with low pain tolerance... and PTSD... I was hesitant to redo my non-existent brows again. However, Jenny came highly recommended by my sister and so I finally splurged for my birthday and booked a consultation. Jenny is amazing! She's calm, professional, so sweet and ensured me how she would tweak my old brows and added volume with a combo nano-brow. I have super sensitive skin, so I told her in advance - don't worry, you will see redness on my skin, it's normal... it always happens. Even though I reassured her of the potential redness, she was concerned and gave me ice pack to cool down my skin. Her space of work is clean, very chill and relaxing. My session took about 2hrs, but my friend was done in 1hr. All relative to your skin tone. Jenny will mark up your brows first with a pencil, then once you agree on the shape, she'll numb your brows and then relax while she does her magic. You'll receive a healing ointment so follow the instructions! The package also includes a perfecting session in 4 weeks. My recovery timeline - 6 - 7 days after 1st session - all good. This was the first time I had my brows microbladed aftering thinking about it for years.  I am so happy that I discovered Jenny Lei from an IG post by Brooke Baldwin in 2021 before Jenny started IDO Salon.  I have followed her work for years as I had considered microblading, but was always hesitant since it is such a long lasting procedure and I was afraid that with the wrong technician, it would be too bold, unnatural and I dreaded the healing downtime.  I had gone to consultations that were closer to my home, but they did not ease my fears. The complimentary consultation with Jenny immediately put me at ease as she is so kind, attentive and really listened to my concerns.  Jenny's consultation not only explained the entire process, she also mapped out the brow shape she thought would be best for me and cleaned up my brows and tweaked the shape with me so that I could visually see what the actual result would look like.  As I was considering both microblading and combination brows, Jenny even did one brow as a combination brow for me to compare which one would suit my lifestyle best.  I was so happy with the mockup and Jenny's attention to detail, that I immediately did the microblading after my consultation as I was lucky enough that Jenny had an opening immediately after.
