I have been going to Posh Nails & Spa for two years, now, and not until last week was I ever disappointed after my services with the displayed level of professionalism, and lack of hygienic nail care. On Dec. 30th, 2020 my fiancé and I made an appointment for 6:30pm for two pedicures. She insisted we be there by 6:15, but he had to come pick me up, so 6:30 was more efficient for our schedule, which is why we requested said time. The owners rushed through our services (they closed at 7:00 that evening) and after asking us what type of pedicure we'd like and giving her the answer; she flat out chose another product out of a sample pack to use for our treatments. I ignored it, chalked it up to the fact that we were their last apt and said nothing...everyone wants to get home, right? It happens. After being rushed, we paid and were out the door by 7:10pm. On Jan. 2nd, 2021. I went in for an ombré full set. Nothing fancy (note pic 1) and was told by the owner, that she could do what I wanted. After an hour, and using pink & white powders, my nails were unevenly caked with coats of powders and looked nothing like the picture she'd already told me she could do. She said "You do softer ombré, yes". I told her no, that I did not understand why I was told I could receive a service, the nail associate completely do the opposite of what was requested, and then assumed I'd be okay with it. I was infuriated. In an effort to get on with my Saturday night, I told her to simply paint a natural looking French tip look to the nails, so we could call it a night. She offered to let me come back in on the next business day, and another associate could re-do my nails. She did not charge me. (See pictures 2 & 3) So, Monday rolls around (today). Jan. 4th, 2021 and I go back in this morning to have them redone. A gentleman does my service this time, to which I'd shown the original picture I wanted the weekend before, and then a new picture, saying if it could not be done, to simply to a more natural look. (See pictures 1-white/pink ombré- & picture 4 -all natural one shade look). He tries one nail, it's similar but not as vibrant as the OG pic 1, I was after all along, but I could appreciate the effort and them not charging me last time, so I just said, "that's not quite it, but better so okay." (Maybe he will do a second coat of white, it will look fine). Then, this man began to be lax-i-daisy with the precision of his handling with the electronic nail filers and buffers, and burned the sides of my nail beds and even used sharp needle nose filer underneath my nail (I know sometimes they do this to get the acrylic off from setting the top, like little strays, etc. but at one point he jabbed in down into my pinky it made my nail bleed underneath) The sides of my nail beds were filed HARDLY down and it happened more than 3 times. (See pictures So listen. At the end of the day, they tried to fix it, but honestly the re-do visit today was like torture for my nails. They are still hurting after several hours since my visit and I am $50 in the hole. Never will I return to Posh Nails after the way they handled themselves, repeatedly rushed through services and damaged the integrity of my nails. read more

I stopped in for a quick mani to basically change gel polish. The interior of this shop looks kind of old and dated compared to the places I usually go. The pricing for a gel mani is pretty much the same as every other nail salon in this area. When removing gel polish, they use the soak method rather than wrapping each fingernail individually in foil with acetone on the cotton ball directly on the fingernail. I HATE the soak method because you have to stick your whole fingertips into a dish of acetone & leave them there for way too long. This dries out my skin and is just uncomfortable. For this reason alone I will not be going back here. But to make matters worse, the lady doing my mani left my fingers soaking for an extra long time as she took another client back for waxing while I sat there. Ick. When she finally came back & finished removing my gel polish, my fingers felt pickled from the extra long soak in acetone. She did a fairly good job with the rest of my service, but there are way too many other nail Salons in this area that are much better overall than this one. I won't be going back. read more

I've been to this place once before and wasn't impressed. 6 months later I decided to give it another try- and it was an even worse experience than the first time. I requested an SNS fill in and they charged me for a brand new set. The tech spoke in her language with her coworkers but barely acknowledged my presence unless I asked a question. How are there bubbles on my SNS? Also, there's color under my nails that looks very sloppy. Save your money and go to Allure Nails by genghis grill in Ballantyne. They've recently re-designed the interior and it's absolutely beautiful with an open, spacious, modern feel an an abundance of luxurious pedicure chairs they also have plenty of clean rows of nail tables with equally comfortable chairs. I hAd a perfect pedicure by Yobana and a beautiful set of SNS nails by Kim who has been doing my nails for eight years. They have the largest selection of colors I've seen in a salon. Someone reccomended this place to me and I'm so glad they did! Tan did a great job on both my pedicure and manicure. I got a full acrylic set and he painted on part of a design I requested, and Kim came in behind him to do the fine detail. Unfortunately when I went to leave, the design smudged. They were really busy, so I offered to come back later that day. When I did, Tan and Hannah worked together to fix the nails that had messed up. They took their time and I really appreciated that. I tried this salon yesterday. There is a huge sign out front that says under new management and offering 15% off. I got a gel mani/pedi. The pedicure was ok. The chair is nice. The massage was average and the overall pedicure pretty basic. The manicure was ok, but my polish is uneven and very thin. I've used the same color forever and it's. ever been this shear. The decor of the salon is lovely. It is clean, spacious and a higher caliber than most. I do think they need to spend more time on their services and they would be the best salon around. read more

The staff here is very friendly and helpful it was clean and had very good vibes.I walked in with nothing really in mind other then I needed to get my nails and toes fixed. I came in asking for a manicure and pedicure, and I couldn't be understood by the woman at the front. I was speaking clear English but she couldn't understand me, which made it difficult. We finally understood each other and I was led to my seat, but only to be taken care of by someone else who spoke no English! Price was good, job overall was fine. Experience was meh. I'm a working mom and getting my nails done is self care and I want to be taken care of. I went here after work with a girlfriend and my nails look fine but the experience was not exciting. We had an appointment and my nail tec came in 10 mins late with her starbucks and AirPods in. My water was ice cold on my pedicure and so I asked if it could be made warmer and she didn't even acknowledge me bc she was too busy chatting on her phone through her AirPods. Pedicure massage was zero effort and no pressure. After pedicure she walked away without saying a word to me. After waiting a few minutes I asked the lady next to us if she knew I was doing a manicure. She came back, quickly did my mani and chatted on her phone the entire time and then walked away. This place is crazy overpriced! $31 for a crappy gel manicure. They left my fingers looking scraped and rough. After filing and buffing my nails, he went directly into painting, with nail dust still all over my nails! On top of It we were each only given 2 coats of gel, when my friend asked for another because her color was practically nonexistent the lady just said "no".
