We had a great first experience and were so pleased. I rebooked for a second appointment. But the barber didn't show up for that confirmed appointment. The shop was closed. We waited half an hour. I started bringing my son in to get his hair cut about 6 months ago and I have *zero* intention on taking him anywhere else so long as Ryan is here. I don't write too many reviews. Ryan is exceptional. My 17 year old son has curly, thick, coarse hair and he's picky about his cut. Not the easiest to shape. His hair looks amazing, thanks to Ryan. He knows what he's doing with a scissor and razor. The most convenient hours, super friendly, great traditional barbershop environment with lots of conversation and personality. Awesome shop. Worked with Bruce during my visit, and he handled it with just minor instruction on my part, and nailed exactly what I wanted. The shop is very local for me, so obviously this piqued my interest considerably and I'm glad to say I just found my new barber. The shop itself is everything you'd want in a legitimate barbershop, and the guys working here made me feel right at home almost immediately. The cut was priced fairly as well, and Bruce held nothing back (straight edge, aftershave, hot towel, pomeade etc). With that said, they have a new regular with me. Also, Bruce is a vet, which I'm always first to support and he has a badass skill set with the clippers. read more

I'm not sure if it was due to lack of care, or trying to rush; however, the haircut I was given was nothing like I'd asked, and it was very sloppy. When I'd asked to have it fixed a little it was done with no care and ended up looking worse. I've gone here twice now and can only say good things about this place. Bruce really cares about his customers and the quality of the haircuts he gives. The location is cool because you can grab a sub and then sit and relax with a full belly as you get the best haircut of your life. I love that they have authentic chairs from the early 1900's!
