It has been ages since I got a skin fade again. Yet, during the spring and fall semester in Sierra college, since I bought a couple of clippers I thought to save some money to cut my own hair. Until from school, I was going to the spot where I would cut my own hair in at school, usually a flat out size two, which most of the time always ends up being way tf off. This twenty twenty six year I thought to actually go to a shop and get a skin fade again because I fail doing that ln my own. There was only two barbers today, the guy that I do not know his name, which he gave me I believe a great fade, thank you for giving me a real fade again appose to my faulty self skin fade. I hope the tip is well enough for you, even though having to go to doctors, that they are the ones taking pretty much all of my disability moneys. Oh almost forgot, there was also a little boy getting a cut when I walked in. Yet kind of why I try to keep my hair long, just to try and hide my battle scar on my temple that the doctors did to I. I just started going to this barber shop which is not to far from where I live and my barber Darin does an excellent fade. I've seen the other barbers cut hair and their work speaks for itself. It doesn't matter what nationality you are this team knows how to do hair. They have sports playing from football to soccer and each station is repping their favorite team. My barber Charles, I have been going to for about 5yrs now (started with him at his previous shop) cuts my hair exactly the way I like EVERY time. If I want to change it up a little he's right there to deliver. I'm a former Marine and am picky about who cuts me. As for the shop, ALL of the barbers are awesome. VERY professional but laid back at the same time. During this pandemic, the guys have been cutting still being VERY mindful of the distancing, allowing only a few in at a time, and spraying down their chairs, capes and using gloves for every cut. Im not one to write, but we've been coming here to get my kid his haircut and today was the worst experience ever. We had an appointment at 6:30 we show up and the person scheduled was not there so they give us his card to call, no answer. So I go back and as I was heading back the one dude was already heading out he was clocked out and I was telling him our situation so he goes on to say im off the clock, but I can cut his hair.. so to consider his time my husband ask but are you good, meaning " are you ok" with staying back to accomodate us because he just told us he was clocked out, we were considering his time and this dude takes it the wrong way and walks away mumbling saying we said we asking him if he good at cutting hair, total opposite of what we meant.. dude we know this is your job and you cut hair, who in the right mind would ask if you are good at your job??? I was looking for a good barber. So I thought I would try this place out. This is probably the most unprofessional business I have ever been to. The first time I went, the barber (Eric?) must've been having an allergy attack or a cold because he was constantly sniffing his nose and clearing his throat. It was pretty disgusting. But, I was fairly happy with the cut... Not blown away, just content with it. The next time I went, it was the same barber, and he was having the same problems. This time, the cut was extremely un-even. Maybe I was a glutton for punishment because I tried it again, hoping for a new barber... Nope. Same guy. Same issues. Today, I went to get a haircut there, came in, was met with eye contact. I sat down in waiting area, and finally gave up... Nobody was being helped. They were more concerned with a letter they just received for providing alcohol to customers, than actually helping their customers. And the barber Eric? This is my first time taking my 2 boys to the barbershop since we moved into this area recently. I had a walk in at 3pm. My kids immediately cried and threw a fit the whole time. It was like they were going to die but I am so glad that Ricardo and another guy (sorry bad with names) patiently cut their hair through the screaming, moving, tears, and boogers. Horrible service! Called and made an appointment for my almost 1 year old son for the following day. We pulled up two minutes after the the agreed upon time and the shop was completely shut down. The shop has the Barber's cell phone numbers posted on the window outside the main door. I called Darren to tell him we were there and he told me that he looked outside and saw no one and left. He was not willing to come back nor apologetic. He obviously did not care if he lost my business. I do not recommend this barber shop. Don't waste your time. My husband is the kind of man to just walk in somewhere and see whoever for his hair. He isn't a very picky or high maintenance type of guy. So the first time he saw Ricardo was about 3 weeks ago. My husband had him just clean up the style he already had and it was a great hair cut. Well yesterday my husband tried something different and had me like "WOW"! They are "open til 6" on the door and I even called and told the guy I would be there by 5 and when I showed up at 5:05 the doors were locked and lights turned off. I normally love this place but I have a wedding to go to and now I have to trust Supercuts. I wouldn't normally be pissed but the guy told me he'd be there and flat out lied. Other than that I love the place. To amend this situation, Brian contacted me and got me in at 8:30 am the very next day and explained what had happened. Been going to one of those Sport Clip places. But after a) one of them nipped the mole on my neck, then b) one of them clipped my ear, then c) got skin infection from them not sanitizing the clippers, I decided it was time to find someplace else for a haircut. There are a few around Roseville/Rocklin. Was lucky enough that Doonan's wasn't busy when I walked in last Thursday afternoon. Brian was available and started giving me a REAL HAIRCUT. Not like the quick clip I got at those other places. Took his time. Did it right. Asked if I wanted a fade. But I'm 60 years old, and don't know what a fade is. I declined and requested the normal trim along the neckline. Really perfect haircut. Inexpensive, though I think a decent haircut is necessary. Not your old fashion barber shop. When I was there, there was lots of talking and watching of ESPN. Friendly place. Nice guys. Not your dads barber. But this old man didn't feel out of place. read more

It's never easy finding a new Barber, but I definitely found me one... I was visiting my girl and I needed to get freshly cut before our Valentines Dinner. I scheduled and online appointment last night with Darin and I gotta say I'm really glad I did. First off he's a cool cat. Secondly, he asked me all the right questions to find out exactly what I was looking for and he executed it perfectly. He gave me a nice fade, my lineup was tight, and he took a little off the top.
