Whoever you get from this place will treat you right and only prepare you for your test. I got Moises as my instructor and from first session he made me feel comfortable and made it clear that he's just there to help me not to stress me out. He is very nice and helpful and is the best instructor I've ever gotten so if you can get Moises! The instructors here go over everything you need to know the become a better driver and to pass the test. After failing my test a couple times, after my sessions with Moises, my first test back and I passed it so these people really so help out and never hesitate to ask questions or to go over something they will not get upset or annoyed. I was researching on yelp for a driving course, to take before my drive test, read all the great reviews about Chris and Moses and compared their ratings and took a shot with this company. 4 practice drives and a drive test later i PASSED!! I started my courses 3 weeks before the drive test and was amazed AMAZED at how much knowledge and skill i was able to retain in such a short time from driving with both Chris and Moses. Chris taught me secret tips to drive/park perfectly each time and Moses helped me over come my incredible fear of driving on the freeway. I cannot say enough great things about this place! I'm so happy I decided to give them a call, every other driving schools I contacted were rude or disinterested. IE Driving Academy responded very quickly to me when I requested information and helped me get my license in less than two months. Chris is the best instructor ever!!! Due to complicated circumstances, it took me several years to take my driving test. I had bad luck on the driving tests before, and failed due to silly/unfair reasons. Chris is a PRO and has a unique capability to give you confidence and comfort behind the wheel (in crazy LA traffic, even on the freeway), while teaching you throughly. After-all, he has practiced his profession for 15 years! I had wasted money on other driving schools before, where the instructors would prefer to chat with me instead of teaching me the paramount cautions on the streets (or the unusual little things examiners can fail one on). Chris is very friendly, and makes you feel like you are driving with a family member, yet at the same time, he is beyond committed to teaching you as many details about driving as possible. He is empathetic and very responsible, and genuinely cares about his students. He goes out of his way to accommodate to his students' schedules and locations, and rather sacrifices a few extra minutes of his time, than the opposite (that's common at other driving schools where the main incentive is profit). One thing that I particularly liked, is the way he makes little "sharpie marks" on the car (wheel and side door) to visualize some logistics. He also has a street map handy, to draw some examples of potential collisions or to review possible mistakes. I detail-oriented and I think in pictures and graphics and this manner helped me to understand how to maneuver the car better. He is serious about his job, and funny at the same time ;) I cannot recommend him more!!! I didn't plan to review my driving lessons, as I am embarrassed to get my license so late, but I am happy to validate his skills on this social platform, because if there is one thing that this humble teacher needs to improve, it's advertising his phenomenal business more! I did my research for months looking for the best and most reasonably priced driving school I could find. I'm so glad I found this school. First of all, Brandy is always so friendly and accommodating with my busy school/work schedule. Chris is amazing! I always crack up when I remember my first lesson with him. He told me to go ahead and get in the drivers seat. My response was, "but I don't know how to drive". He said, "I know that's why you hired me". Super funny moment but he was right! I always feel so comfortable in the car with him. He's very knowledgeable, gives me amazing tricks and secrets, and is super patient. I have my moments I overreact when I get nervous because naturally I'm a drama queen, but Chris keeps his cool and is very understanding. I've learned so much from him, I'm eternally grateful. Moises is also a really cool guy. I had a lesson with him once, we practiced parking, turns, and I feel like I learned a lot from him too. I am an international student, and I have never driven a car here before. I am so excited and happy today because I got my driving license in my first try!!! But actually all of these credits should be attributed to my teacher Chris!!! He is so patient, prudent and detail-oriented, he even can draw a picture to show me which part that I made mistakes, and which part I should pay more attention in the driving test! "Professional" this word is not enough to describe his teaching methods, because to me, it's bravo! Fantastic and highly-efficient! He is also a good friend that you can talk with, no matter which part that you forgot or confused, just ask him, he will let you drive there and practice again and agin, finally, he will draw a traffic picture to help you to review the whole mistakes you had. If you are a girl like me, a little bit timid, or if you are an international student (English is not very fluent or have some accent), don't hesitate, Seriously, DON'T HESITATE !!! find him immediately and directly ASAP!!!
