I already knew this place didn't have a great Yelp rating. So my expectations were already low. When we arrived, there was only one woman there ... in the entire place. We asked if she could accommodate two walk-ins and whether she takes VISA, she told us yes to both questions. I noticed that the price chart on the wall says that their 60 hr. foot massage is normally $40, so I thought, "Hey, at least we're getting a deal." She took us to the massage beds (which is in an open shared space) and started making a bunch of phone calls. It sounded like she was calling for people to come help. So we probably sat around for 15 minutes before the second massage therapist showed up. The massage was okay. One thing to note for those who aren't familiar with these types of discount Chinese massage spas -- A 60 hr. foot massage is usually never fully focused on your feet. They will also massage your head, neck, arms, back, and legs (all with your clothes on), which I'm fine with. BUT my fiancé wanted more time dedicated to his feet and felt misled by their advertising. Two things to know about checkout: We were charged $2.50 to use a VISA to pay for the massages. Not a big deal. We tipped 20%, but then was asked to tip them $10 per therapist, which comes out to more than 28%. We did it to be nice, feeling bad about their lack of customers. BUT, what is the point of a $5 "grand opening" discount if you're going to ask your customer for a higher tip at the end? Yeah, we won't be coming back. There's several better options for your discount Chinese spa in Asiatown. Check out Oasis Massage in Dun Huang Plaza if you're looking for a great place!
