This place serves as a destination where you can get your phone repaired (cracked screen, etc), phone covers and additional phone accessory. In terms of pricing, I know they also provide warranty for any services hey provide you. However the warranty does have a cost to it. My recommendation is to shop around for pricing. There are plenty of shops in the Columbia mall that provides similar service. However, many of my friends use this place so it must be a good thing. When I was there, there was only 1 person working the front of the place. This person was very nice and informative. That person was in the middle of repairing a customers cracked phone. Not sure if this is a 1 person shop or has multiple staff. If you can quick service, this is the place to go. However, I think their prices are reasonable especially given the area. However, other places may provide cheaper rates. Got to search around. read more

Wow, just wow! Today I had an appointment at the Apple Store to swap out my Smart Keyboard for my iPad and decided to get the battery on my poor Nexus 6p changed at Cyberion while we were there. After being stressed out to the point I wanted to punch a wall at the Apple Store, and commiserating with someone who'd been there for about half an hour waiting for her repaired phone because they lost her appointment (and couldn't track down her phone), Cyberion ended up being the BEST experience ever! We dropped the phone off and ran to dinner within less than 5 minutes of arriving. Then we came back about 30-60 minutes later and the phone was done. Total time...10 minutes! And it was a SHORT 10 minutes because Mukit talked tech with us as he cleaned my phone and put it back into the case for me. (I was ranting about planned obsolescence, lol.) The difference was night and day between Cyberion and the Apple Store. The former was actually a RELAXING experience. Whereas the latter was like getting a big fat splinter under your thumbnail. And Mukit himself was AMAZING! He was SO pleasant to talk to that I ended up asking if I could interview him for my show. I had a 4.75 star experience at this place. I called over 10 repair shops in Maryland and VA some didn't even bother to pick up the phone. This place, 2 rings and someone picked and answed my questions knowledgeably and set up an appointment to repair my note 4. I make good money as a busy limo driver but I'm also frugal with my expenses. I visited a couple other kiosks and small shops but was turned off by their lack of eagerness to win my business. Additionally, the other locations had a repair time of greater than 1hour. Some even had customers complaining about their previous repair as I walked into the store. Cyberion was well composed and was eager to provide solutions to my multi symptom issue. Some of the other people turned me down because they said "It can't be done". This place serviced me fast, had the solutions, and charged me the right price. As I read the other reviews I felt the negative ones were overly critical and I sensed that they were the type of customers that would go to a fancy restaurant, demand a refund and refuse to tip the busboy just because the restaurant forgot to bring a free appetizer before the meal. Long story short, I fell off my Segway, got a hefty dental bill, broke my $800 Samsung note 4 and these guys were the ones that came through after extensive research on best value. Whole I waited for my repair I got irritated at the negative reviews and wanted to do these guys justice by stating it how it should be stated. The screen works on my iPhone XR, but I lost water resistance, auto brightness, and the TrueTone feature. Immediately when I walked in they were harassing me to purchase a $50 screen protector, which I ordered on Amazon for $4.99, and came the next day. I was not informed that I would loose any functionality of the phone, until after the repair was completed. They took 100% payment upfront, which I found very suspicious. The tech misrepresented the business by saying it will be "just like Apple." Which obviously, was a lie. If anyone is considering using this business, I recommend just going to Apple. You will spend $70 more, but you will at least be going with a business that stands behind their work, and the peace of mind that comes with it. I have now filed a chargeback with my bank. Their replacement screen also has a yellow tint to it! EDIT: After putting on my polarized sunglasses, I can barely see the screen! Everything looks like a rainbow! Before I got my iphone XS max screen fixed, the manager was so enthusiastic about how good quality their service was, and they charged me $275 to replace the phone screen which costs $329 if it was done by APPLE, it turned out that, NEVER, NEVER trust them just because they say something good and offer you $25 discout. Right after the screen was replaced, I noticed the color was distorted at minimal brightness, and typing is no longer accurate any more, the whole phone slows down somehow after they replaced the screen. I texted the manger but he replied a few times then stopped responding. He promised to set up an a appointment with a senior technician go look into the problem with my phone by he never realized his promise. I don't and never will trust it, and I encourage any person who wants to do business with them to be alert. With the pandanmic going, they seem to be more eager to get customer paying rather than making them satisfied. read more

I shattered the screen on my sansung edge, and called around to see what it would take to get it repaired. Cyberion quoted $320, which seemed absurd, so I kept calling around. Turns out, it's a bit higher than the standard ($300~) but they could do it the next day while I waited, since he had some screens coming in. Mukit (my rep) went on to ask about the color (wanted to be sure he was getting the right part) if anything else wasn't working (to make sure his quote was accurate) and assured me the part would be made by Samsung (no one else, in the states, makes them). He then told me, as soon as the shipment came in, he would email me. The next day, right on time, I got an email - my part was in, and he was available that evening. A few laptops were opened up and being worked on when I got there, but otherwise it was quiet. Mukit laid out some anti-static mats right on the display case and got to work. At first I was a bit put off that there wasn't a workshop - but they are that confident in their skills that they will do it in front of a customer in the front of the store. I don't have the patience for that, and went to wander the mall a bit. I came back as he was about to put the "screen" on. It's literally half the phone. Now I get why it's so expensive, and why I'm probably not buying samsung again. After testing everything out thoroughly together, he grabbed a screen protector and case for me for free, since I hadn't taken any of the discounts (either by booking online, or through yelp). This worked out well, since the combo would have been more than $20 for me, but probably only cost him $10 or less. Win/Win. Warranty is for 30 days, but Mukit asked if me to reach out if I have any problems with it, since it should last much longer. All in all, painful amount of money, but the work was done well, with OEM parts (this will not be the case with other brands, but it will be cheaper) and great customer service. read more

Allow me to tell my sad tale of how Cyberion in Columbia provided me with the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I came to the store on July 16th 2019 with a cracked iphone SE screen. I was serviced by a man named Khalil. I had called prior to entering the store and was told the screen could be replaced within 10-15 minutes. I decided to go during my lunch break. Khalil began to replace the screen and he appeared to know what he was doing but pretty soon it was clear he had done something wrong. He had wiped the phone of it's data. Now in retrospect I should have had the phone backed up, but I've had phone screens replaced before and it has never been an issue. I had to return to work and Khalil assured me i would not be charged for the phone screen repair. When I came back to Cyberion Khalil had more bad news. He informed me he hadn't just wiped my data he had destroyed the software on the phone. It was irreparably damaged. He stated that he owed me a new phone. I asked how long it would take and he said a week. I requested a loaner phone for the meantime which he provided but it ended up not being compatible with my sim card and when i went to my provider they didn't have a sim card that was compatible. Exhausted and defeated I ended up buying a new phone. Yesterday, July 23rd 2019 I returned to Cyberion after being told my new phone was ready. When I arrived however I was met with more poor customer service almost bordering on aggression. Khalil informed me I would still be paying the fee for the screen replacement. I was understandably outraged and requested to speak to his boss. Khalil called his boss who first stated that he was busy and refused to speak with me. Khalil also sounded fearful when he spoke to his boss which just indicated extremely poor management in addition to the incompetence of the service I was provided. Shortly after the boss called back and told Khalil that he'll give me the new phone with a cracked screen if I'd like. It was honestly astounding. Khalil even suggested that I should call the police if I'm so dissatisfied. I regretfully paid for the phones replacement although I really wish I had not. Cyberion is a terrible business. Clearly no regard for customer service and certainly an extreme lack of accountability. If you offer a service that should take ten minutes and it ends up taking a full week and causes extreme inconvenience the proper thing to do is not charge the customer. If your phone screen is cracked I implore you to seek a different place to fix your phone. read more

Walked in on a weekday night. They told me about a discount I could get and I'm ALL about saving money. Told me they could fix my phone (badly cracked screen) in 20 min, and got it done in 10. Another plus in my book since I had my toddlers with me and there's no way they would have lasted any longer. Pleasant people working there. Very professional and courteous. He checked all my phone's functions to make sure because the crack was near the sensor, speaker and camera that he could fix it properly. My mom needed to get her phone screen fixed and needed a phone case as well. After going to one spot in Glen Burnie to get an estimate, we wanted to get a second price and came to Cyberion in Columbia. Despite the Arundel Mills location being closer to our house, we decided to go to the Columbia one because of it's 5 start Yelp rating, which I've never seen for a repair store of any kind. We scheduled an appointment online before coming in and saved money right off the bat. Mukit was the one who was working with us and was nice, knowledgeable, and followed through on his promise of having the phone ready in 30 minutes. He gave us a call in 25 saying it was done. Once we came back to the store, he made sure we tested the cameras, made a call, and ensured the screen didn't have any cosmetic or pixel issues. We also needed a phone case and Mukit was able to quickly show us where the cases were, provide some recommendations, and put the case on to show us how they looked. We picked out a case and had it ready to go in less than 2 minutes. He even gave us a discount on the case! Very good customer service. He did great work, spent a ton of time trying to fix an unfixable phone (it was a long shot, I knew it wasn't working) and didn't charge me when he couldn't fix it. I had to come back the next day with a different phone (my current one) to get a new screen, rear camera, and home button. He did fast, good work, and he even ordered a matching home screen button for me without me even requesting it (he only had a different color on hand, which he used for the time being). Here's why: 1) I got the lowest price quote for a port replacement after asking other competitors. 2) When I arrived, the technician gave me a honest diagnosis -- He explained that my micro USB 3.0 charging was faulty, and suggested that I try micro USB 2.0 instead. He demonstrated, and it worked! So, I bought a 100% authentic Samsung charger with adaptive fast charging (not a fake one like the ones you find online) and now my phone is as good as new. Immediate fix. He could've done the whole repair (which would have cost me about twice as much), but he didn't. That shows great character, and the fact that my phone is now working shows expertise. It's cheaper here than the Apple Store and took only about thirty minutes. They also have a thirty day warranty. The glass is clearly different from the original, but that's to be expected. Cyberion fixed my dell laptop. Device wouldn't stay charged and will shut off as soon as we disconnected the charging cable. I took it to Best Buy where I bought the device but they wanted to charge me $189 for a new battery. My cousin told me about cyberion I checked them out on yelp and all those reviews didn't lie. They got my laptop fixed and also serviced my charging port in the same day and they only charged me $129. Much cheaper and faster then any other place around Columbia area.
