My Google Pixel 6 hasn't been properly charging for a few days and I knew that the terminal needed to be cleaned. So I brought it to the mall to have one of the kiosk folks fix it. The first dude tried to screw me bad telling me he needed to clean it and likely replace it and it would be $100 (hard no). So I kept cruising and found these guys (forget his name). Homeboy took 5 minutes to clean it and charged me $20. Support good honest business folks!! These guys have a storefront, they aren't in the kiosks. Buyer beware the kiosks!!! read more

Brought my husband's phone in to have the battery replaced. When he went to pick it up, Noticed a spot on the top left and bottom right corner of the adhesive on the front. When he asked about it, the employers said it was there..... When my husband said "No.... I had a case on it", he was told it wouldn't affect the function of the phone. No discount was offered or given. Very affordable pricing and done quickly, but this was obviously disappointing. We would have rather had it take longer and not had damage done. The battery does work nicely though, so that's a plus. After doing some research we're learning that these are air bubbles in the adhesive of what keeps the screen on the phone...... read more

I had bought a kit with new battery for my iphone 4 from amazon so i could replace it at home. Although the tools were never included. So my boyfriend and i had decided to go to the mall and go to the Apple Store. **Now before i go any further, i bought my phone through "straight talk" and i love their no contract policy and low monthly costs!!!** When we had asked one of the employees he told us that we can only use the batteries that apple has in store and had to buy it. Or "the best option is to upgrade my phone" that we had to step in back and wait for a specific person to ask about pricing and other cr@p even though i had a new battery in hand 10 minutes went by just about and my bf suggested that we go to ifix here. A young gentleman in a chair had happily asked for my phone over and the battery and with no further questions asked, he took my case off, the back off, places the new battery in and screws it in place and hands it to me. Then waves his hand with a smile and tells me "youre all set" We even weren't sure if it was a joke or not but he did all the work in under 5 minutes and no charge whatsoever. TAKE THAT APPLE!!!!! Complete rip off. Paid $640 and still have a screen with a scratch. After returning to the store several times because the touchscreen didn't work, I finally gave up when they fixed the touchscreen and returned it with a scratch. They refused to make it right and offered me a free case. Avoid this place. read more

I just realized there are no refunds. I will never ever bring my iPad or phone back to this place. Fixed my screen- the touchscreen wasn't working and I had to bring it to back for repair- bear in mind, it was working perfectly even though the screen was shattered before. They "fixed " it and the underneath of the screen is exposed and a dent is on my iPad Air. Free case but I'm honestly uncomfortable about the screen and very disappointment because their were several places I could've chosen and I chose them. Never again. read more

I brought an iPhone in to get the glass on the back of the phone replaced. They told me 3 hours, we walked around and came back in 3 hours and they said it wasn't ready yet so we left and came back and it still wasn't ready. It was finally done by the evening. When they handed me the phone he told me the back glass had been replaced before, I know he's lying because I've had the phone since new. We tried all the buttons and it seemed to work. On the way home I tried to make a call and the mic wasn't working, at home I noticed the back glass was peeling off at the bottom. Brought the phone back the next day they said they would replace the mic and fix the cover. Picked up the phone and the mic was working but they didn't fix the back glass. A couple days later I put it on the wireless charger and it won't charge. I would not take any phone/tablet here for any repairs, by the looks of the scratches on side of my phone they don't really know what they are doing. Take it to somewhere more reputable. read more

I stopped by the Apple store next to iFixIt tonight and the Apple store refused to fix my phone due to some water damage circumstance. My phone was not damaged by water at all, and tried to sell me a new phone. I went next door and stopped in and was able to get my phone FULLY fixed and the technician even fixed an extra thing for me and didn't charge me additional fees for him doing so while he replaced my display. I will always refer any iPhone users I know (which is most of my friends) to this location. Thank you so much and I will always refer business your way. read more

Had them fix my iPhone 5s smashed screen while I shopped, looks and works great now than 2 weeks later I brought them my IPad 4 and thought it was destroyed and it looks brand new now, new screen and new connectors had to be replaced. Great service and pricing! read more

I dropped my phone in water and the camera wasn't working. This guy took 5 min to fix it and told me it was free. That's crazy! I dropped him & the pleasant ladies $20 for tip -- A fair price considering Apple would only consider an exchange at $270. Only complaint: don't give your services away for free, man! Amazing service and amazing customer service. First place in the last 24 hours that was willing to replace my screen. It's great because the Apple Store across the way was all booked with appointments, I just walked in here and they gladly helped! It was also nice when the girl offered me a screen protector for a discount because they replaced my screen, but since she couldn't put it on perfectly (which I was ok with, it was much better than what I could have done) she gave me an even bigger discount, which was sweet. read more

THESE PEOPLE RIPPED ME OFF SO BADLY I HAD TO TAKE THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT!!! first of all i bought their groupon for a screen repair for my daughter. she went to them and dropped off her iPod with the groupon. she came back to pick it up and the worker wouldn't let her leave until i pay him AN ADDITIONAL $75!!! she got SCARED and wanted to leave so she just payed him and left. her iPod was held together by scotch tape, and the lock butting was broken! they neglected to tell her that their "service" would cancel out any warrantee/insurance with apple. i went there the next day to talk to them about the issue, and they said that their warrantee for services had ran out (24 hours). so i decided that i should take the issue to small claims. i won in court and they STILL refused to pay me. then they changed the name of their business. do not go here, you will get ripped off! read more

I had a cracked but functional phone screen and now i have a not cracked phone screen that doesn't work. Since I am out of town until the warranty expires, I basically paid them to break my phone worse. Half of my phone screen freezes frequently making typing impossible. called them about it and they were extremely unhelpful. read more

I wish I could somehow bash Geek Squad while complimenting iFix Here. I had just come from Geek Squad because my new phone's receiver speaker stopped working. They had me completely restart my phone and wipe everything off it. The whole process took about an hour. My phone still didn't work and their only suggestion was to drop it off with them which would take 5-10 days to repair and about $370 in repairs (about as much as the phone is worth). Disgruntled I walked into iFix Here to only buy a screen protector. The young woman behind the counter immediately noticed my screen was out of alignment. While talking to me about screen protectors, she effortlessly lifted the screen and put it in its correct form, something Geek Squad claimed couldn't be done. From here I mentioned the receiver speaker and she said they could definitely fix it in about 30 minutes. I left the phone with them, 30 minutes and $55 later I have a phone with a screen in the proper orientation, the screen protector applied, and a working receiver speaker. I will NEVER EVER go to Geek Squad again and I am so grateful for iFix Here. Thank you so much! read more
