Avoid this store! I needed a quick repair of a smashed iPhone screen and couldn't wait on a Genius Bar appointment because of my travel schedule. They charged about $50 more than Apple but offered speedy service. The screen had problems after about 80 days (a dead pixel) and they insisted on my paying $150 again as they only stand behind their work for 60 days. Apple will NOT help you after you use a third party screen repair. Plus the staff is pretty surly. read more

I had my iPhone 5S screen repaired at iFix, and I am so happy with the result. They replace the LCD and digitizer with the screen as one piece here. My guess is that it's easier than removing the glass. I was a bit nervous when I noticed this on my receipt, but when I tried it it worked great. I had purchased the Yelp deal, which covered the $79 repair and the tax. The employee who was working also was very helpful in recommending the best case to protect my phone when I asked him. I asked to test the phone in the case since it had button extensions and I wanted to see how they worked. He put it in the case for me after making sure to switch my SIM card and the holder over from the old phone I had put it in. It looked a bit tricky, he even used a tool to open the case so I was really thankful that he did this for me. The store has a pleasant atmosphere and I thought it was cool that you could watch the people working on the devices in the back room through a big window. It reminded me of restaurants that have an open kitchen. It puts your mind at ease that nothing shady is going on. It seemed very busy when I came in, so I would recommend calling and making sure they have the part needed for your phone before dropping in, as well as calling to make sure it's ready before picking up. read more

They need someone new answering the phone- that girl definitely didn't make me want to come in and definitely didn't make me want to trust them to fix my phone... She said she THINKS it may be $60 to replace a battery in my iPhone 6 Plus and it will take at least 4 hours. Highest quote have gotten so far for both money and time.... This place was recommended by a friend, and now I know why. It's awesome. Great service, fast service, super friendly people. My iPhone was doing some really weird stuff. Sometimes at 40%, it would just shut off. Then sometimes I wouldn't be able to turn it back on. They knew the problem right away and they said I just needed a battery replacement. Sometimes it's what you won't do... Like cheat someone. Apple said probably around $200 to replace the charging port in my iphone 7. It was ridiculous. I cleaned it, tested it many ways. Called ifix for a price. 1/3 of Apple's. I took it to them. He disappeared for about a minute. He handed it back to me working fine, no charge. The charging port had lint in it... omg.. I felt like an idiot, but like I had people watching out for me. That is how you win loyalty. That one little gesture got mine. They are now my people. read more

There customer service is terrible they had my phone for over 5 weeks saying they where waiting on another part that the first one was defected. No-one called me to update me during all of this time I will never go back there ever again. I don't recommend anyone go there. They charged me a lil over $30 out of the $140 they had me pay up front now one would thank that if I was going to get charged for them trying to fix it there should of @ least left a defected unbroken screen on my phone. Instead they gave me my phone the same way it was dropped off leaving me to believe they just held my phone hostage. Not only was my phone repaired incorrectly and not in working order TWICE, but they were inefficient and incorrect on their timelines for the repairs, and extremely nonapologetic when made aware of the mistakes. This is the second time I have used iFix for screen repair of an iPad. Both times were good experiences. There are some minor things I would change if I was "in charge" but they do not impact the actual screen repair. As a former customer service instructor, I notice things like, the representative should never answer the phone and leave the customer standing there waiting for service. Proper etiquette would be to politely put the call on hold and return to the customer standing at the counter. Also a nice touch would be for the company to "clean" the product before returning it to the customer. These are minor and do not impact the quality of the actual repair. The turn around time is fantastic and the repair cost very reasonable. Overall, I highly recommend them for fixing iPhones, iPads, etc. read more

I originally went to infix on suggestion of an AT&T store employee. I was not really impressed and was told hey could not fix my phone. I went back about a week later and spoke directly with the owner. He went out of his way to accommodate me and get my phone in working order. He apologized for the earlier wrong information I had received. I hope my phone does not break again, but if it does I will go back to ifix. read more

I left my phone on top of my SUV and drove away. Found it about a half mile from home in the middle of the street and the screen was destroyed but the phone turned on. This happened about a half hour before I had to leave for the airport flying to Memphis. Looked online and found this place, and called them. The told me they could do it if I arrived by 5:30 pm because it would take 30-45 minutes and they closed at 6. (This was on a Sunday). My fiance called them when I left the airport, I got there at about 5:20 and they were waiting for me. The tech immediately took my phone and I was walking out of the place in less than 15 minutes with a like new phone. I would never have believed that it could have been repaired. Took my iPod with liquid in there and they told us they'd dry it out and to come get it the next day. Later that day they called back and said it was unfixable and we could come get it when ever. So we get a new iPod for 400$ and go back to get the data off the old one. When we went back about a week later, the iPod was working, they lost the paper work, and the iPod wasn't even fixed yet. The person remembered us and lied about leaving the message in the first place. We explained that someone (he) left the message saying it was broken and not able to be fixed. He denies doing it at all and unpleasantly asked if we still wanted it. We said yes and they're still making us pay full price. Over all money spent was over 480 dollars thanks to their little screw up. Extremely unhappy with service and they not very plesent. I would much rather drive out to Wolfchase to get it fixed there. Much more plesent with that 30 minutes drive and has never failed us like this! Maybe if they would have given us it for free (the least they could do) or man up and say they messed up, but there wasn't even an apology. Not only that, but when they gave it back to us the screen was falling off. If 0 stars were an option, it would be my choice Plan to get the iPod and never go back there! read more

I took my iPad in for what I was hoping would be a quick fix. After waiting 3 hours, I called the store and asked for the damage. The technician told me that he didn't know what was wrong with it. That he had never seen such an issue. And that it COULD be the motherboard. In other words, he didn't know. I went back to pick up my "diagnosed" iPad. I asked if it was their policy to charge someone for a diagnosis when they could not pinpoint the issue. The girl at the desk said that it was a motherboard issue and I responded that the tech thought it could be the motherboard. Not "is". Could. I then sat down to discuss the issue in more detail with the tech. He couldn't be bothered to put down what he was doing to have a conversation with me. He could barely look me in the eye. In fact, I don't recall any eye contact. He was too busy dismantling a phone. All the time the manager was sitting next to him taking an employee on how to fix something. The manager couldn't be bothered to even chime in at any point. I asked who owned the place and was then told that I could only speak to a manager and would never get the opportunity to speak to the owners. I was thinking that after that the manager would insert himself into the conversation. Nope. Too busy to get involved. It was at that point I cut my losses, paid, and chalked it up to a moderately priced lesson learned. If you have an Apple product that needs to be fixed, please go to the Apple store. I feel that I received the worst technical and customer service all in the same sitting. Just awful. I would think you would be ok taking in a cracked screen for replacement, but, I wouldn't give these guys another dime of my money or I would be allowing myself to get burned again. If I could give them no stars, I would. At least the store was open and people were working behind the counter. That is worth 1 star I guess. read more

UPDATE: they will not have screens in for at least a week and a half! They were out of the LCD screen I needed for my phone (iPhone 6 plus), so I could not get my screen fixed. They are having me wait two days for it to be shipped in. If I had known this, I never would have bought the Yelp deal (which they don't refund), I would have just gone somewhere else, as I am getting glass in my fingers from using my phone. They also did not give me anything to put over the screen temporarily to protect myself from the shattered glass. They should have temporarily suspended their Yelp deal or at least put an alert on it so people wouldn't buy this deal expecting to get their phone fixed right away. Despite all this, the girl working there was nice about it. I was very short with her but she was polite. read more

I am dropping my rating for the following reasons: Fifty days ago I got my Iphone 6 screen repaired here. I was informed that I have a 60 day warranty on the screen. Today I noticed that the screen was starting to fall out of my phone. I took it back to get it fixed and they did honor the warranty. Now, even though the screen was defective, the new screen does not come with a new warranty. If the screen is faulty within the next ten days I am okay. If it messes up in 11 days, I have to buy a new one. Not fair or cool. Also, while fixing the screen, they broke my proximity sensor. They said they will fix that for free, but they don't have them in stock. I now have to make a third trip out there. I find this to be an extreme inconvenience. I drove there once to drop off my phone, a second time to pick it up, and now must make a third trip when they get the part in stock. I would strongly advise to use caution when getting your devices fixed here. Three things that are not cheap: cost of phone repair, my gas, and my time. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I needed to have a cracked iphone 5s screen replaced. I was told they had a white one in stock, but when I arrived they did not. I had to get a black screen. Within 36 hours I had a long crack in the center of my phone for no apparent reason. I had a very good cover on my phone. When I contacted the manager of the store, Alexander Buehler, he would not refund my money or replace the screen. I was told at the time of purchase that it had a 60 warranty, but he said it did not apply in this case. He said he was unable to help me because his owner would not allow him to do it. When I asked to speak to the owner he would not give me his contact information. In addition, I learned that they are not approved by the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT purchase any coupons from Groupon or any other sources. They do not stand behind their product. read more

I took in my iphone for a broken screen. Within days of the repair my screen would go blank for no reason and I would trick it back on by shutting down my iphone and turning it back on. I returned to ifix+ within a week of the repair but because the problem wouldn't happen while I was in the store, the technician told me he couldn't' do anything about it. Told me to return when I could show him what was going on.... A little under 3 months later my screen wouldn't turn on at all, I took it back into ifix+, they informed me the screen they installed was faulty but the repair warranty (60 days) was no longer valid. Bad customer service I am sure I will have other mac/iphone repairs in the future but will take my business elsewhere. By the looks of other yelp reviews it seems as if this sort of thing has happened before. read more
