After spending $475, the parts cracked (after a 6" fall on carpet) and the battery stopped charging almost immediately. And they are not even using Apple or Gorilla glass??? The sales person looked like he just woke up from a week's long nap and could not put two words together. My mom had just gotten her first smartphone(Yay!) and she needed a screen protector applied. We had previously gone to the location in Carle Place for her Amazon Fire Tablet, but this location is less than 10 minutes from our house. So we decided to use this location. It is Summer and there is no AC or even a fan. Hot AF doesn't even describe it. The man took the phone and the protector in the back and after about 20 minutes(while stopping multiple times to help other customers because he was the only one on) he said it was the 'best he could do'. The screen protector was not perfect(to the edge) and had multiple bubbles throughout the edge. The one in Carle Place didn't charge a cent for a perfectly applied screen protector and this location had the nerve to charge over $8 for a s***y application. That cost more than the screen protector, case, and stylus on Amazon! Needless to say I was not pleased. From now on, I'm taking my business back to the location in Carle Place!! read more

Horrible experience. Charged me $125 to fix my cracked iPhone 8 screen. When I received the repair, the quality was suspect at best. The screen was cloudy, and screen quality was no longer sharp. Not to mention the fixed screen started to slowly crack on its own literally 48 hours after bringing in for service. If your in a situation where your screen is broken, just go through your phones insurance plan. This place and quality of work is not worth your time, or money. read more

Would never recommend this place. I did a live chat with a representative the day before I came in asking about estimated prices, discounts I saw online and well as wait time. None of the information was honored by the store. The replacement part was not in stock, the price was quoted higher and they would not honor the 10% discount. When I showed him the print out of the conversation with the live chat representative I was told that there are many stores and that this particular could not honor what I was told. Most horrific experience ever. On Saturday 7/13 I brought my amazon fire hd10 tablet in to IFIXSCREENS to replace the screen that was cracked. Everything worked perfectly other than having a cracked screen. I was called today 7/17/19 to come pick my and that the LCD wasn't working properly which was weird because I brought in to have the screen replaced. I got there and the screen was replaced but there was a lot of blotches and discoloration towards the bottom of the screen. Mind you the bill was 120 to fix this. When I saw that my device wasn't fixed properly I was extremely upset and I just left the tablet there and I didn't even pay the balance. As of now I'm trying to see how I can get in touch with the owner of the Greenvale location. I did email him using the email he gave to customers in response to their reviews. I'm also trying to see if there is a corporate office I can contact. I've had a similar experience with another place who replaced my iPhone screen. I had the same problem with the blotches and discolored resolution at the bottom. This place saw the mistake and replaced my screen which corrected the problem. I wouldn't have a problem if I had those blotches and discolored resolution at bottom when I brought it but it didn't have those problem. I refuse to pay for poor service. As of today no one has contacted me regarding my situation. I did file a complaint with the better business bureau today. I am also still working on doing what ever i can to contact someone that could help. read more

If I could give it less than a star I would. Their screens are not Apple or Gorilla Glass. The break more than wine glasses in the dishwasher. Three screens in three months. Each time the screen broke because I had keys in my pocket with my phone and they did nothing to help me. When the third screen broke I went to Apple for a new one and they will not touch a phone with their screens. It ended up costing me over $1k for an new phone out of contract. I had questions before agreeing to complete the work and kick myself for proceeding because when I got my iPhone 6 back the screen was noticeably different than the original. Once again I questioned the store personnel and because they spoke little English thy couldn't address my concerns. When I called the main 800 number on the corporate webs site the individual "Tish" who's customer phone skills matched that of teenager hating having to answer phone offered me NO suggestions/recourse for my concerns. His one sentence answer was email the info to the corporate site. Rush never even said another word when I asked him what happens after I email them. I want to be clear I'm not trying to get out of paying for the repair, I simply want a screen I can see because when you are outside with this repaired screen you can't see anything. Do not go here, I repeat do not go here. The guy is a thief and uses low end hardware to "repair" any damages. He charges more than apple for a half assed job and a 90 day guarentee. Went back within the 90 days because my phone screen wasn't responding to touch and he wanted me to pay for a new screen because as he phrased it "it looks like something poked at the screen" which makes complete sense with my outterbox case on. I called in one night to see if they had any glass protectors available for my iPhone 12 pro max that I had just purchased. Employee (do not remember his name) said that they had them in stock. left work for a bit to have the item installed. I get to the place the gentlemen takes my phone to the back and starts to work on applying the protector. He comes out, hands me the phone and I notice the protector is completely off! Then I notice that it's not even the right one for the phone! He tried using a different phone protector and had cut it to try to fit it onto my phone! What made me even angrier (besides him lying about having the part in stock) is he tried to convince me to take his Jerry rigged item at a discounted price. Told him that is wasn't right what he did and that he immediately remove his bootleg ass screen protector off my phone. He tried apologizing and said he thought he had them in stock...but tried to cut one into the shape of my phone??? Not cool I'd give this place 0 stars if it was an option. read more

This place should get ZERO stars! They literally just stole my money! I brought in an amazon fire tablet to be fixed. I brought my own brand new screen that I had purchased as the replacement. He made me pay before the service (which is the first mistake). Then after I pay and walk away is when he calls me back saying it's not the right screen. Would give zero stars if I could. I brought in a 5s with a cracked screen. He replaced it and when it came out and we paid and he gave it back I noticed my home button was very loose. Like either a screw was missing inside or the screen wasn't made for this phone and wouldn't fit around it. Even tho they have a warrenty he claimed he does not touch the home button or go anywhere near it even tho it was fine before he took it. Now a couple weeks later and the button is less and less functional. When we asked to speak to his boss because it was clear he didn't know what he was doing he said no and that his boss knew no English. The screen is also sometimes unresponsive now. Took it back and they refused to honor the warranty because there was a small scratch on the screen. (Was probably that way when I got it back.) I brought my iPhone 6 in with shattered glass. At first it seemed that they did a good job replacing the glass. However, a few weeks later my phone started experiencing problems and I brought it in to the apple store. When they took it out of the case, you could immediately see that the glass was no longer attached to the phone. The case had been holding it together. Nothing was functioning correctly any longer and the I couldn't back up the phone at all. Try another place, my phone did not survive the repair. read more

I dropped my phone off with slight water damage. Phone not submerged but wet from rain while running a race. Galaxy Note 4 was 5 months old. After 1 week they still couldn't give me an answer if it could be fixed or not. I told them to forget it and I'll pick it up. It took 10 phone calls, 4 visits to the store and after 1 month my phone was returned with a missing rear plate in the rear of the phone, missing stylus pen and a smashed camera lenses. When I gave them the phone it looked like it came out of the box new. Now the phone certainly has no value anymore and it is not worth taking it to another repair place. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. Complaint with the Better Business Bureau and small claim court await them. read more

Aweful, this place ripped me off. I went to go get my screen fixed on my Macbook since the bottom quarter of it stopped working after I dropped it. The guy told me it would cost $400 to fix it which I accepted since its a computer. The guy who works there, who I can barely understand, calls me a week later to tell me that now the entire screen doesn't work (which 3/4 worked when I brought it in) and told me I needed to pay another $120 to get the extra part. I am leaving for college the next week so I decided to pay that also just to get my computer working again. Three months later and the screen malfunctions again and nothing will light up. They refuse to fix it or do anything even though the website says 180 day warranty. Apparently computers are not covered by that. The guy told me if it works leaving the store they are done with it. Biggest waste of money I have ever spent. Avoid at all cost. read more
