Paid $300 for a "premium" screen repair on my iPhone 16 and my phone completely stopped working just three days later. Buyer beware--this place is a joke. They claimed to install a 'premium' screen, and it cracked the SAME DAY sitting in my pocket with nothing else in it. That doesn't happen with real parts--only cheap garbage. Either they lied about the quality or they don't know what they're doing. Complete waste of money. I stopped by iGeek because my Apple Watch stem wouldn't depress. Without that feature, it does not work very well. Trent to a quick look and suggested a quick cleaning. It only took him a few minutes and my watch works like it should. I also asked him about my older iPhone SE. The lightning cable wouldn't stay in charging was becoming hit or miss. Again he suggested cleaning the charging port and it took him a minute to get a chunk of lint out of the port. Again, the cable is making a solid connection and no repair/replacement is needed. Trent didn't charge me for the cleanings and even though he was busy installing new shelving, he never rushed. iGeek has replaced batteries in my iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Our bank accounts were accessed by bad guys. the credit union recommended setting up a new account but not accessing it electronically until our PC was scrubbed. They recommended igeek. Hammad and Ryan were both great to work with. I found them after my iMac dying and losing essentially everything (and of course not backing it up) because the SSD drive failed. Hammad and Ryan are both smart, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions over multiple calls, even before I brought our computer to them for repair. I took my dead computer elsewhere first before going to iGeek but should've done it from the get-go. They gave me all my options and were not pushy in anyway when I was researching about data recovery. iGeek quoted me for the repair less than the other computer repair store so it was a no brainer. LITERALLY could not touch my laptop without breaking it. I took my laptop to them twice; it's a gaming laptop that was getting on in years. It's a brand I picked specifically because it's made to be easy to upgrade and work on, so when it came time to upgrade and work on it, I thought it wouldn't be a big deal. The first time, I had them do a thermal re-paste and a RAM upgrade. Got it back with the wrong power cord (they gave me a significantly cheaper one, had to go back and get the real one once I realized) and the bluetooth non-functional. My husband wound up opening up the laptop and discovered that they hadn't re-connected it. I was hesitant to take my computer back to them, but my husband was happy with work they did on his computer, so decided to risk it. This time, it was to swap the old and failing fans out for new ones that I'd ordered from the manufacturer website. After the power cord swap, I didn't trust them to use just whatever fans they thought were okay, so made sure to supply them myself. This time, it came back with the keyboard messed up. Turns out the reason (discovered, once again, by my husband after he opened it up) was because the person who swapped the fans put the wrong screws in the wrong places. I'm very lucky that the pressure that the screws exerted on my mechanical keyboard for the time it took for me to realize that something was wrong didn't break it. These are all little mistakes that speak to a lack of care with the handling of delicate components. If my laptop ever needs work again (say, because they broke something else I haven't found out about yet), I'll be taking it someplace else. Or maybe just asking my husband to do it, since he fixed all of their mistakes like a boss. Left a star on because my husband was happy with the work they did on his computer. read more

Excellent place to take your dead computer. My 9-year-old desktop computer hard drive suddenly died on me taking all my photos and important documents. I was devastated. A friend recommended this place. They were 100% right on. They took my dead computer and were able to put all my information on an external hard drive that I furnished. It took about 3-4 days because my computer wasn't cooperating, but they got it all. Super quick, I thought... I had been shopping around for this service and it was shocking how much it was. They were able to save me $$ of dollars. They are really nice too. They also build computers, fix phones and probably a lot more. My laptop failed me in the middle of a zoom mtg with a loud screeching noise and I was not able to get updates to finish. I am not tech savvy at all. I took it to IGeek and they gave me a quote, updated me on the status daily. Because it was Friday when I dropped it off, I got it back Monday morning.
