A few months ago I gave them a unusual challenge I suppose with a broken LCD dashboard for a motorcycle that just needed a screen replacement. They were able to open it but thats where the service stopped. I got my LCD back opened and paid for the labor. I was told they would look for a replacement LCD for me but never did. I called to follow up and just end up giving up and completing the fix on my own. On the plus side, I learned how to repair my own LCD dash so thats a plus. read more

I dropped off my work laptop on July 9 for a keyboard and charging port replacement. I was told that parts will arrive at most in 2 weeks. I called them on July 20 and was told that there is no update yet since they are still waiting for the parts. They called me on July 23 updating me that the keyboard has been fixed but the charging port that was delivered was the wrong one and they are waiting for the replacement. They said it should be delivered in another week. I called them on August 4 and they told me they are still waiting for the part. Told me that they will update me on the status in 20 minutes but they never called me back. I called again on August 11 for an update. They still haven't finished the repair and still waiting for the part. I expressed how unhappy I was with having to wait for a month for parts and repair and all they could respond with is "If you're unhappy, since you haven't paid yet, just take your laptop and go somewhere else." After wasting a month of my time and so much back and forth, I've been cordial all throughout and calmly expressed disappointment once, which is totally reasonable. That's all they have to say to you. Not even a "sorry for the inconvenience" or "we apologize for the wait" but a "leave and go somewhere else." It's understandable that somethings are out of their control. It's just the lack of empathy, communication, accountability, and the ability to take critiscm that really disappoints me. So if you're wondering how much they value you as a customer. They don't. Tldr: It took them over a month to repair a laptop due to part shipment. They've only called to update you once otherwise you won't hear from them unless you reach out to them. The deadlines they give you are basically made up. I usually don't post negative reviews but I had to share so others are aware. I definitely would not recommend this shop as they are horrible at communication and giving updates. I dropped my phone off per the recommendation of the ATT store. They said it would be a free diagnostic and I trusted them as they seem like nice guys. However I kept having to go to the store and calling them after they kept saying they would call me for updates. Long story short, after several weeks of shady stories of where my phone was (it was shipped but unable to provide tracking) I was finally able to get my phone back unfixed. As customers, we just ask that businesses be professional and provide customers with honest updates and communication. Unfortunately, I would not recommend going to this shop. I walked into Repair All on a whim after Best Buy canceled my repair appointment, and Batteries Plus was clueless. They repair cell phones, gaming consoles, laptops, and more. They also sell cell phone accessories. Parking is easy to find in their large parking lot. I was greeted with a friendly smile by Denzel. He was engaging, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, polite, and professional. As I'd anticipated, I needed to replace the screen of my old phone so I could transfer the data off of it that wasn't properly backed up (lesson learned). He told me the cost and said it would take approximately 45 minutes. I was blown away as other places needed it for a minimum of several hours and weren't very friendly or helpful. I immediately agreed and signed on the dotted line. After an enjoyable snack time with my daughters next door at Jamba Juice, I checked back in as he was finishing up. Denzel did an amazing job, and I was ready to cry tears of joy as I had pictures of my daughters as babies, texts with family, friends, and my wife, and templates I use for my memorabilia business. I highly recommend them to anyone, and Denzel solidified a wonderful experience. Learn from my mistake, and use Apple iCloud, Dropbox, Google Photos, Microsoft OneDrive, Samsung Cloud, etc, regularly, so you backup your precious data and photos. Extremely dissatisfied with the customer service in this establishment. I've been coming here for years and I purchased a glass screensaver and then 2 weeks later it broke (leaving shards of glass in my finger!). I called and they said they would replace it at no charge. Unfortunately, I did not write the gentleman's name down and that was my mistake. I just went to have it replaced and they would not work with me. I asked to speak to a manager and he said he was the manager (his name was Samir). Instead he insisted on up-sale-ing me to a $60 screensaver. Buyer beware! Marcus the "manager" who didn't manage well repaired my device more than a month ago only for the same issue to happen a few weeks later. When I took the phone back I was told the part would be ordered and replaced under warranty. I called to verify this and again spoke to Marcus who told me to bring the device in. I bought the phone and was told to leave it overnight. Upon my arrival to pick up my phone, Marcus stated "he was wrapping things up. That my phone would be ready shortly." It should be noted the repair was under warranty. While I sat and waited patiently, Marcus then approached me with other customers present and stated he took off the screen protector that his agent put on the device and that there was a Crack on the screen and that that voided the warranty. That my option was to pay to fix the phone or he'd have to undo the work he just did. I was not prepared to pay nor did agree with his performance. It was humiliating to have other customers watch as he took an additional 30 minutes of my time disassembling my phone and replacing the defective parts they initially placed on the phone. I was late to work. Marcus never apologized, never called for back up support, offered no empathy. My business didn't matter. The warranty is a sham. They want to keep charging you for the same work. Marcus should not be in management if he treats his customers this way. Other customers overheard the conversation and seemed to agree. A gentleman I assisted on his scooter going out saidhe completely agreed and that I was awesome for the way I handled the situation! It's his job to know whether the phone is cracked or not before he starts the service. Disappointed in the service. I won't be referring any customers to this location nor do I plan to return! Warranty and vision fail...also no handicap automatic doors and no one got up to open the door for a gentleman on. I got up to open the door. Smh! read more

I Instant Message with Marcus, store manager, the previous day, about screen protector replacement for my I-phone 14+. He quoted me $24.99 + tax which was very reasonable. I called the store this morning to make sure they have screen protector replacement in stock. He only took about 20 minutes but 1 hour later, there was bubble at bottom left corner of my I-phone. Went in 2nd time in afternoon as I was in neighborhood and it was fixed correctly. Marcus was very courteous and nice. They're not like other places that just want you to buy stuff, nor do they add hidden fees; they're honest and reliable. These guys (Elk Grove Location) did an amazing job on my iphone (Cracked Front and Back with only 1 ribbon attached) i mean it really looked like it was going to be inoperable. Ruben tested the screen first to make sure my phone even worked prior to even starting on the back side which would have saved me much mula. I just liked the fact that they worked with you and answered all my dumb questions professionally and honestly. The total Price of the repair plus a new privacy screen was very fair compared to buying a new phone which is a no brainier. No hassle service for my iPhone with broken screen. I didn't know where to go so I checked Yelp and since it's the nearest I decided to check them out. Turns out u can schedule appointment online so ++ points. Went in on appt time. Told them the problem. They said 35 mins it will be fixed. Came back and it was ready, looking good as new. And clean. They observe social distancing, there's acetate barrier on the check-in counter, the hand sanitizer was empty though, but they're not gonna lose a star for that. I brought my dad's iPad into the Elk Grove location. Since I can't find Elk Grove on yelp, and they are all under one corporate anyways, I'll leave my review here. My iPad was not starting up. I gave them the go-ahead. They said they'll call me when it's done. A week later... no calls yet. I called them to ask about the status. They said it's ready. When I arrived at the store, I pay for the fee, I tried to turn on the iPad... the iPad is not charged. Me: "uhhh... how would I know if it works if you guys didn't charge it for me to see it turn on?" Them: "Yeah, you're right... can you come back in 5-10 minutes?" I go get a Jamba Juice. I come back. Sure enough, it doesn't turn on. They then tell me they need a different battery. Again... they'll call when it's ready. Week later... No calls... I call them. They tell me they tried a new battery and that didn't work. Then they tell me they need to send it to corporate for the technicians there to fix the issue. A few more weeks goes by. No calls. I call them. Corporate doesn't know how to fix it. Now I need to go in, pick up my iPad, and run through loops with corporate to get a refund. Through the entire conversation I had with them, not a single apology was made for wasting everyone's time with their incompetence. Extremely poor communication, customer service, and processes. Corporate... you need to play undercover boss and keep a better eye on your stores. This isn't how you run a business. read more

As luck should have it, my phone battery died and I my phone wouldn't hold a charge. I was prepared on leaving my phone overnight if necessary for the diagnostics and time to replace parts. I was greeted by Marcus and he very quickly expedited the process and advised me to come back in an hour and my battery would be replaced with a new one. As he was the only one at the store and still assisting other customers meanwhile. He kept his word and had my phone repaired in an hour. I was in no hurry, but was happy with how fast he was. I was impressed with how patient he was and calm while multi -tasking so many other devices and customers. My phone was turning on and off every 5 minutes. Brought it in and a battery was recommended. When I picked it up I was told it was turning off and on again. Worker recommended I turn off my fingerprint function as that may resolve issue. Ultimately it did fix the issue and they removed the unnecessary battery. No charge. This was far and away the worst experience of both repair and customer service. I brought in my iPhone 10 for a screen replacement. They were about $80 less and committed to using apple original parts. 3 screens failed and I went to 2 different stores. When I finally went to apple the tech told me the first repair person left pieces out, screws were missing and one of my batteries were completely disconnected. My Face ID is completely broken and can't be repaired. After repeated visits to the store I was referred to corporate. I left several messages for days. After I got a call back about 5 days later they agreed to refund me and I am still waiting months later. I legitimately wonder if this whole organization is a scam. read more
