Very disappointed in my experience. I received a phone call that my device was ready for pickup, so I went to pick it up and paid the pick up fee. I noticed the joycons attached weren't mine, so I gave those back immediately. Admittedly I should have looked at things more thoroughly, but they were about to close and I was in a rush to get home. Once I got home, the real problems started. The Switch will not power on. I gave them a working device that would charge if you jiggle the cable back a little bit, and after paying them and not having a Switch for several days, I now have a Switch that will not power on AT ALL. As I was troubleshooting it to figure out why on earth they'd return me a device that wouldn't power on, I noticed that a crack on my Switch housing was missing, which seemed very unusual because I only paid to have the USB-C port replaced... So then I went poking around in the device itself, and it had a copy of Minecraft inside AND there's a sticker on the back with someone's name on it.... not mine. Seems like whatever happened, they got our Switches mixed up, so now this woman has my Switch (and has probably factory reset it by now) and I have hers. THANKFULLY most of my saves are in the cloud, so the only true loss in all of this is my pokemon saves, since those won't let me backup to my memory card and/or the cloud... but ugh that's still quite a few hours of lost playtime. I'm sure Asurion will repair this one, too, and get it to power on since I guess this is my Switch now and the repair is covered by warranty and I suppose having a Switch that doesn't have a crack in the housing is a win.. but yikes, now I have to go through all this hassle to get this woman her copy of Minecraft back somehow.. and I still may never be able to, so she'll just be out her game and have to buy it all over again. :( EDIT: So I got my Switch back and now it's even worse. Not only does the USB-C port *still* not output video, but now the left rail also won't charge my joycon, so after paying for a repair I actually. have a less functional device than I started with. read more

Walked in to get help with a broken back of an IPhone 14 Pro. Very friendly, helpful woman who described the problem with this particular device model and the repair needed. It would take about 48 hours to fix as it's done with a laser vs removing and replacing the back. Hence need to leave phone for 48 hours. About $200 for the repair. Other options would be leave as is, cover with a new phone cover so not to see it or replace the phone. This business sells a limited quantity and varieties of phone covers and cords. The finished product ran overtime and price was a little higher due to the parts needing to be sourced, but it was only by about $20 and they got my "ok" each step of the way. I got the back of my iPhone fixed here and bought a case mate case from ubreakifix that said it would protect my phone from up to a 10ft fall - 1 day after getting my iPhone fixed here it fell off the back of my couch (4ft at the most) & the back of my iPhone broke all over again. When I brought my phone back in the guy working was 0 help. He said I would have to pay the same price to get my phone fixed again & when I said they should at least warn future customers to not buy the case I bought he got defensive. Just had to give a shoutout to Will for the quick repair on my z flip 6. A few days ago the main screen stopped responding and slowly started getting worse to where I couldn't log into the phone. I looked up repair facilities on the Samsung site and UbreakIfix came up as a Samsung repairs site. I thought I would try going there first to see if it could be repaired before buying a new phone. I've owned 3 zflips and this is the first one to have any issues. I appreciate the excellent customer service from Will who suggested I try requesting a warranty repair through the Samsung site to see if they may cover some of the repair. Glad I did as it reduced my out of pocket for the repair then what it would have cost to pay it all out of pocket myself. Will could have taken the phone and not said anything about going through Samsung but they went above and beyond which is rare to find from retail workers nowadays. Wow. I'm frustrated I paid for this before at another phone repair place. I will never go to another location. After my kids got to my phone multiple times I would always pay out of pocket, then I smartened up and had asurion insurance added to my plan. So got my screen fixed from them, phone was working fine. After they fixed my screen and gave me a new one the phone would randomly touch and dial numbers or open apps. You can imagine how this would be a problem calling work or 911 just because the phone will have what one of their employers called "ghost touch". So I went back a min to later to get it fixed they gave me screen no problem I was like wow these people take care of their customers. A day later same issue the screen starts doing "ghost touching" it would randomly open my email. Now here comes the fun part I went back a month or two later because I have an exam to take and no one simply has time to spend 3 hours waiting for it to get fixed after you got it done twice but after I finished my exam I went back and the employees tell me that "it's your phone problem" LOL the funny part is their employee who fixed my screen the first time acknowledged that it's happened to other customers and phone has dialed 911 by itself before. He literally admitted that when I first went there so it's clearly not my phone problem 1. because it was not happening before I got it fixed. 2. I came in to submit my claim from Amazon for my phone. Joe told me it would need to be serviced but the message from Asurion made it sound like they would be buying out my phone. So I told him I'd be back after I called Asurion. Joe then canceled my claim because as he says "you said you were gonna call so I assumed you would have them send you a box" so now that he did that I'm unable to proceed with that claim because the records aren't available now that he canceled it but the claim is still showing up on asurions end and I'm being forced to troubleshoot the issue because of his moronic assumption. read more

I would give -100 stars if possible. This place is a complete price gouging rip off store who are clueless. I went in with an Xbox One S that suddenly showed "no signal" on the screen. I tried a few troubleshooting methods found online as well as 2 new HDMI cables with no change. The clown at this place told me it was DEFINITELY 1 of 2 things. Either a defective HDMI port which would be a $200 repair, or a shot motherboard which couldn't be repaired which would cost me $40 to determine. That was all BS. Because none of this sounded right, I left and went to a local electronics repair shop in Fair Oaks call Computer Rebooter and I am so glad I did. They told me it could be the HDMI port which would be $100 (half of what this clown store charges) or a chip in the motherboard which COULD be repaired for $140 or the hard drive which could be replaced for $140, AND they had all parts for any of these scenarios which could be repaired in a couple hours. In my case it ended up being the hard drive. It was done with a few hours & replaced with a hard drive with double the storage size for $140 as promised. This Ubreakifix is a rip off, they don't know what they're doing and are owned by Asurion who is really trying to sell service plans. STAY AWAY, go to a local REAL electronics repair shop. read more
