SB isn't always known for stellar customer service. Most places are fine and only a few stand out. This was one of the worse experiences I've had in a long time trying to support a local business. Needed a newer phone and a good friend referred me to this place. Called ahead, was asked if I could be there at a certain time. No problem. Dan picked out a phone without letting me know price, asking what I needed etc. Had to stop him when it looked like he was starting to transfer info over. Asked him if he was suppose to wear a mask. He said 'No, I'm healthy, I work out". Asked if he was vaccinated. No answer and very reluctantly put on a mask. I excused myself, called the friend with the referral and said there was no way I was giving him any business. She said she would not go back or refer anyone again. I did not have a problem with the owner he was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately my phone was broken during the screen repair. So instead of a broken screen I now had a broken phone. Because I took my phone to a 3rd party and it was broken during the repair apple will not cover warranty. I thought this would be a quick fix and granted he was apologetic and gave me 40$ back of the $140 I paid to fix it and a free phone case but now I'm stuck with a broken phone. He admitted he's not perfect and genuinely seemed to be upset he had to give me money back because his comment after the $40 to me was "well that's the cheapest repair for a iPhone plus i have ever done. Well my thought was I paid you $100 to fix my screen yes that maybe was a good deal but you also broke my phone and my loss is way more than your $40 and a phone case. I had no idea my phone could be broken during Repair. If i did I would of taken it to Apple from the get go! You take your chances going to a 3rd party. Just take your phone to a apple dealer. It would of been $30 more to take to a Apple dealer worth paying more and having it being repaired with a warranty. Third parties don't guarantee anything and if your phone is broken during the screen repair than your stuck with it. read more

I was running on the treadmill getting my workout in. Just running along enjoying the music when all of a sudden my tunes were cut off. I had accidentally whipped my ear phone cord with my hands as I was running a 7 minute avg mile. I glance behind me and see my iPhone 5C rolling and bouncing off the end of the tread. To my dismay I picked my phone up and was horrified at the site of my phone actually protruding from it's casing. After my workout I jumped on yelp to find somewhere to fix it. The first time I went to Dan for iPhone screen repair he was fast and efficient. He assured me that he uses quality OEM screens. The next time I needed screen repair, I knew who to call. I took 2 iPhones and an iPad in all with cracked screens. He repaired all of them the same day just as fast as the first time but NOT as efficient. Both of the phone screens cracked right away. I then took them to a friend for repair. I watched him replace the screens and he showed me where the screws were missing inside the phone. On one of the phones the screws to hold it together was missing as well. I then discovered that the screens were not OEM parts. While I was able to use the iPad there was all kinds of dust under the glass. The iPad worked for 2 days and completely died. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

Beware if you have an iphone and go to this place. My touch screen was not working properly on an 8 month old 5s and the guy said a new screen would fix the problem. Trusting he knew what he was talking about I said ok. I paid $97 to find out when I got home that the problem was not fixed AND that his changing my screen voided my warranty on my phone. My phone has since quit working and now I have to pay $350 on eBay if I want a used one. Thanks igeeks, your incompetence cost me nearly $500. Usually people come here mid-crisis (a cracked screen, water damage, etc.) but today I stumbled into iGeeks with the intention of being proactive. I recently dumped my Otterbox for a thin, cute case which is scary for a clumsy girl like me. Dan was super helpful and hooked me up with a tempered glass screen protector. It took like 1 minute and cost close to nothing compared to getting the screen repaired if it ever cracked. Messed up my iPhone. Replaced a battery and screen. It was fine for about 2 weeks then the battery started expanding and made the screen come off. Took phone into Apple Store and found out that screen replacement costs same there but they were unwilling to fix iPhone since a non authorized repair shop did the work.
