I had the best experience with Tech Doctors! My daughter spilled iced coffee on her MacBook Air and we thought it was done. Henri replied to my request for a quote right away so I brought it in and for a very reasonable fee he cleaned it out and replaced the battery which was fried. I had it back good as new the next day. In addition to the service, he gave me information about the value of the laptop to help me determine whether it would be worthwhile to fix it, had the damage been more extensive. Fortunately it escaped permanent damage beyond the battery, and we can rest assured knowing that all traces of coffee and corrosion have been dealt with. They are the best computer repair my husband & I have ever been to. My husband was finishing a document that he needed to get out that day. His laptop was acting strange, so he restarted it, but when he did, he only got a blue screen. It wouldn't boot up. Frantic, because my husband was on a deadline with his document, I started calling computer repair companies. Tech Doctors had the best price for running a diagnostic. It was 3:45 in the afternoon & they closed at 4, but kindly, they said they would wait another 15 minutes for my husband to get his computer to them. The next morning they called us & the hard drive needed to be replaced. They were able to do it that same day. They put in a better hard drive, transferred all the data & it runs so much better than before, at an incredibly reasonable price & my husband was able to get his document out that afternoon. Henri is the best of best! First of all, he is absolutely brilliant with an impressive tech background. He is very professional, kind, through, efficient, and ethical. I spilled an entire cup of tea on my MacBook Pro keyboard, yesterday, and called him for advice as I couldn't bring it in right away. The next day, and fearing the worst, I brought it to his shop as he's an Apple specialist, an expert in water damage, and reputed to be able to fix anything and everything. Henri opened it up, examined my laptop thoroughly, assessed it was perfectly fine, cleaned it, and sent me on my way. I know very little about computers and technology, and rather than take advantage of this fact, he demonstrated the utmost integrity explaining his work and how lucky I am to not have sustained any damage. After spilling coffee all over my laptop, I thought my computer was doomed. I took it in to Dukky after flipping it upside down and trying to let the liquid drain out, not having much hope. Henry got it back up and running after just a couple hours, and replaced the keyboard as well. He also backed everything up on an external hard drive for me. Henri noticed my computer was running slow while I was opening a PDF file on my iMac desktop at my office. He told me that my hard-drive is most likely old and needed replacement. He explained to me that hard-drives can go bad because it is constantly spinning like a CD and after many years it will cause the computer to 'crash.' He replaced my hard-drive with a new SSD which stands for 'Solid State Drive' which means it's a newer style of hard-drive that doesn't spin. Henri was able to transfer all my data (photos, programs, files etc) to the new SSD drive and installed it in my iMac. My computer now runs fast and efficient which saves me time when I'm working on big Photoshop files. He is an Apple Certified Tech but now works independently, which in my opinion behooves the customer because he is not restricted by corporate protocols. The coolest thing about my experience is that Henri clarified many things without using techie vernacular and I not only got a fast working computer at a great price, but I learned a heap of information. AMAZING! I spilled a HUGE glass of water allllll over my laptop two days ago late at night while studying for a midterm. I felt hopeless, but I immediately went on yelp and emailed them at like 3 am from my phone explaining the situation. I was delighted to wake up to an email from Henri, the owner, reassuring me that he could help and saying that I could bring it in any time after 9. I got off class a little late and knew i wouldn't get there before they closed. I called in just to say i would take it in the next day, but instead, Henri said he would just stay open until I got there! SO SWEET. He opened it up on the spot and showed me where the damage was, even explaining what he would do to help me. The very next day, I picked it up and now I'm happy to say I'm writing this review on the laptop that I thought was completely toast.
