I interviewed three roofers before signing with Victor at iGreen Repair. My flat roof was soft and weak, and it felt like it was going to give way. In addition, I had a lake on my roof that was huge and held 3" of water that I drained off with a sump pump every time it rained. One roofer said nothing was wrong. Another told me I needed to have the pitched tile roof and the flat roof totally redone. A third said all they needed to do was fix the leak in my bathroom. No one wanted to listen to me about the ponding on the roof ("All flat roofs retain water") But not that much! I asked all of them if they would cut into the TPO roof and peel it back to see if the problem was termites. Victor was the only one willing to do that. The part he cut open showed no termite damage. The fact that Victor listened to me and did what the three other contractors refused to do were enough for me to sign the contract. Unfortunately, there was termite damage on the side of the roof opposite of the area he had opened it up for inspection. A LOT of it. No one could have seen that coming, including a professional in the industry. Instead of a strip and re-roof, the damage was so extensive that the whole flat roof needed to be rebuilt down to the rafters. They did an awesome job and were done way sooner than anyone would ever expect. No one in LA needs to be told about the sketchiness of contractors here. But Victor promised to be here at the beginning of every day, and he followed through with that. We texted from the signing date until completion, and he kept me informed throughout the work days of all activity. I fully trust this guy and his crew. They worked hard and clean and didn't leave so much as a nail behind. The first day they worked 14 hours from 7 am into the night. I was amazed at their stamina! Their dedication and willingness to do a 3 or 4 day job in 2 days before rain came was extraordinary, and I so appreciate their hard work. Victor was very sympathetic with this plight, and his fee was reasonable, considering the scope of work that had gone from mundane to major overnight. I feel very fortunate to have found an honest roofing company that kept me informed of the details before, during, and after the work was completed. As long as I live here, and as long as they are in business, this will be the only roofing company I will use. I have been through several roofers in the past 20 years, and not one has the integrity or has been as honest, dependable and fair as iGreen Remodeling. Sean brought a tablet & showed us other solar projects that iGreen had completed around our neighborhood which where pretty amazing, including residential homes & a few local businesses. Been a little tight in budget at the moment we decided to finance our solar installation, after all, with the money we're saving from our electricity bill, will go towards our monthly payments, which makes sense. The solar installation was done within 2 days, the service crew was really friendly & polite during the installation. After the installation was done, the service crew took all their tools & before they left, we saw them outside picking up all the trash that was left behind. Our place was left clean with no signs of work or trash anywhere. Now we're using our solar panels to light up all our Christmas decorations including our backyard & front yard light fixtures which look amazing & gorgeous & all powered by the sun! Buyer BEWARE of this company! They have NO business doing remodeling of any sort. My mom had them come give her an "estimate" to remodel her house last year. She is elderly and English is her second language. They sweet talked her into the deal and within a couple of hours , without ANY permits whatsoever had already demolished her upstairs bathroom so she was unable to use it and she was basically committed to using them. They disappeared after that for a couple of weeks saying they needed permits but couldn't explain why they had started the job without any. They gave my mom a price for the remodel with no itemization of materials or labor costs. Just one flat fee. The whole job was a nightmare. The guy in charge of the job would tell my mom everyday that "he loved her" and she "reminded him of his mom" so "he would never take advantage of her". Literally every single day this was what he was telling her. He had unlicensed workers in and out of her house unsupervised everyday. He would only come weekly to collect lump sums of money from her. When she would tell him she didn't like something? He would yell at her and tell her she was costing him money. When I called and complained? He called her to complain to her that I complained!!!!!! They even did her shower trim vertically when she wanted it horizontally and told her it was better that way. Didn't even care what SHE wanted. There were shortcuts everywhere. Told her it would take 6 weeks and it took over 6 MONTHS! Fast forward to the present. Three months after the job has been completed. My Mom's ceiling has a leak, a huge one. We call Igreen to come look. We show them the leak is coming from her upstairs bathroom. Under her cabinet is a pipe sticking out the wall,, just sticking out the wall... leaking water. They come and cap it. Tell us they will be back in a few days. After a few days, we don't hear from them or see them. I call 3 times, no response. So, I send an email letting them know how pissed I am. A lady named Gena emails me back telling me I should've called and I'm so rude and if they come and it's not their fault they are going to charge us! Ummm? My mom has lived here 23 years, no problem. U guys remodel and now her shit is leaking?! And I'm rude for being upset u won't contact us? What amazing customer service Gena! They finally send someone out, he looks.. tells us the leak is from the AC condenser. Tried to tell us it's been like that for 23 years but is only leaking NOW because my mom has company and is using her AC more..lol! Good one! He tells us he will get back to us in a few days to let us know if it's IGreens responsibility or not. One week later and we have not heard ANYTHING from IGreen! Unbelievable. However, we did have it looked at by two other contractors who upon checking said whoever the contractor was FORGOT to reconnect the AC condenser line to the drain! Now if they knew that immediately, how did IGreen as a supposed contractor NOT know? Because they are not contractors and have no business remodeling houses . Now my mom's house is missing half her ceiling and her $150,000 remodel was a waste. Her bathroom has water damage in her walls and everything needs to be opened up. Within 24 hours of posting my review here, iGreen reached out to me to try and remediate the situation. The sales rep Jon who was assigned to my project was out of the country for a few weeks, but his team had not set up any out of office alternate contact or reached out to me proactively to let me know about the situation. I get these things happen, but it was definitely not a good experience not being able to get in touch with anyone about our project. Jon has been very attentive since returning and I'm seeing that the installation is getting more on track. At this point the iGreen team has helped move this project past multiple milestones including completing the design plans, submitting the permit to the city, and completing the delivery of the equipment to be installed. There was still a minor hiccup with the wrong microinverters being ordered compared to what was specified in the plans. I identified the problem when inspecting the delivery of equipment, and Jon helped to remediate the situation quickly by placing a replacement order once I let him know of the issue. Here are my major takeaways so far for anyone looking to do a solar install: 1. Do research on your own to confirm what kind of system you need, and consult multiple customers and vendors in advance of deciding on a contractor and plan to understand a wider perspective of what products are right for you. 2. Demand that the contractor order equipment and deliver to your location (specifically NOT to the contractor) as soon as designs are finalized, so you have time to review every single component BEFORE the install day. 3. Manually confirm every single component delivered and ensure that they are what was specified in the contract and design plans. Do not accept substitutions without close scrutiny since these may result in significantly reduced functionality or productivity. At the end of the day I'm feeling better about this given that I have the actual equipment we contracted for in hand. We are waiting for permitting approval to proceed with the install. Because we were repeat customers, they gave us great pricing on top notch windows! I wish I had taken better "before" pictures, but they were the original windows with the home (almost 40 years old). I had my solar array installed 8 years ago by a company that immediately went out of business. In retrospect, it wasn't difficult to understand why that company failed. At the time, I had been a residential building contractor, so I had a pretty good understanding of how projects were supposed to progress. Not that I'm on a 5-Start roll as of late, however I've been hiring quite a few contractors to do some work around my house lately. The good news is that all of my research (online reviews, recommendations and BBB analysis) as really paid-off! IGreen Remodelling did a FANTASTIC job on installing a new roof on my house. What really makes a difference to me is that IGREEN Remodelling (Sean PM in particular) took the time to educate me on the different options, assisted in guiding me in selecting options consistent with the nearby look of homes and actually convinced me to go up on the roof (which is no easy task considering I REALLY hate heights) to see for myself termite damage to the pre-existing plywood base. Due to the level of detail of Sean's team during the tear-down process, they found that the vast majority of plywood boards had significant damage and had to be replaced. Not being satisfied with showing me pictures (Sean sent me about 40-pictures total in my roof collection), sean wanted me to see for myself the extensive damage. He really shows no fear since he proceeded to bounce up and down on the plywood board (again, on the roof) showing the 'give' and that's how you can tell (besides the chunks too) the level of damage. Once everything was replaced (to include several skylights too), it's amazing the how everything looks now! When the solar expert showed up to the appointment he was on time & very polite the gentleman. We understood right away the professional level of this company since the solar expert arrived with protective gear on including his mask & gloves which made me & my wife feel more secure about doing a face to face meeting. This company came out and told me they needed to hire an engineer and have an architect draw plans in order to give me an estimate. Of course they would charge me for the plans the architect came up with. So no free estimate from this company. The other companies came out and were able to give me a free estimate. I happened to look up at my roof yesterday and notice something just looked around a vent so popped into the attic to find out I had an open air view of the sky!!! The vent had completely blown off and my house was open to the elements. Over this summer, we had an accident in our home in Palmdale. My wife accidentally drove through the garage door and hit the wall that divides the garage and the guest room. Although new houses are being built in the Antelope Valley , for some reason it was difficult to get a contractor to come to our house to inspect the damage to the wall. There are so many roofing contractors in Cali but a friend of mine suggested IGreen Remodeling . He told me how good they were so I figured I'd give them a shot. Right off the bat, I was blown away by how well they knew there job. When we had the contractor come out to give us a quote, you could tell he was not trying to get every penny out of us, he was legit. He showed us the 3 brands of shingles they had and that he said even their cheapest ones were really strong. He explained to me in full detail what they had to do to re-roof my parent's house, they even told me to contact our homeowner's insurance to see if they would cover the cost due to some damage. IGreen Remodelling is an excellent company. Sean himself came out to do the estimate. He was very professional and explained everything to us. After going over everything, he gave us an estimate of what the total cost would be. Sean, the owner David and the crew did an outstanding job of removing the old roof on our house and back patio. Then they replaced any damaged wood and did roof replacement for both as well. The workers were on time every day and kept our property clean of nails and debris. They are very knowledgeable, courteous and explained everything when we asked questions. The crew cleaned up daily and were very friendly. Everything that we wanted was done. HORRIBLE COMPANY! Robocalled my cellphone 10 times per hour. When I answered, the first words out of the caller's mouth were lies and fabrications trying to justify his reasons for calling. I am reporting their harassing robocalling behavior, illegal calling, and LIES to the FCC, FTC, and the Better Business Bureau. If you hear from these snot-sucking, robocalling scumbags you should too. ------ The 'owner' responded below, with yet another bald-faced lie. The calls resumed for another 2 1/2 days until my number finally rolled off their list. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and the California Attorney General. which was uploaded onto their system. If you are fighting these robocalling scum, you can find my complaint there to add to your suit. read more

I hired IGreen to redo my roof, add insulation, and add solar panels. The roof work was great. I had a small problem with one of the workers. He said that he would not install insulation in my garage because it would fall. I made the mistake of listening to him and signed off the work as completed. The good news is IGreen is responsible. They came back and rectified the problem. I discussed the problem of the insulation falling as was told a retention wire can be added. So happy that they honor their contracts. I recommend them for their honesty and integrity. The solar system was big enough to charge a 17 kWh hybrid electric car battery daily and run air conditioning. It is a 7.68 kW system. I got exactly the system that I wanted with exactly the brand panels that I ordered. It also generates the promised amount in September and March. I have not had the system for a whole year yet so it might do better in the summer. read more
