I don't usually write these types of reviews, but we had such a positive experience with Builders Hub, that I had to commend the company publicly on Yelp. First, we have a lot of anxiety when it comes to home repairs (will the company do a good job or leave you worse off). Builders Hub is licensed, bonded, and insured. They also have plenty of experience on a wide variety of home projects. We were impressed by their work ethic, communication skills, speed, quality of work, and reasonable price. Someone from their office contacted me on a holiday (Monday, MLK Day), and Ari and Shani showed up that same day. They had just the right demeanor - caring, attentive, knowledgeable. We felt they could do the job and that they were trustworthy. After gathering a few more quotes, we realized that their quote was the best. We received a written estimate, and the work was done that same week. The subcontractor also clearly knew what he was doing. He was hard-working and took care to cover the floor and surfaces. He removed all the debris. Ari and Shani showed up the morning of the job and the next day to inspect the work. I noticed they had a good relationship with Carlos, the subcontractor. They've been using the same subcontractors for years and can vouch for the quality of their work. Ari texted before arriving and said we could call or text him at any time, 24/7. His ETA was always accurate. The entire process was efficient and we're very happy with the results. I'd feel comfortable recommending them to others and using them again. read more

My entire project was a nightmare. My project was to convert my garage to an ADU. Started November 2023 finished October 2024. Worked with the owner David who really just couldn't care less about the project and blames everyone else for the problems that arise. Update: November 2024. I wanted to update my review to take steam off the last project manager we had. Grecia was put on to get my project moving after a long stall in construction. She dealt with all of our frustration with the company and her customer service is good. I It's a month after my first review and i just got another bill from them that i was never told i had to pay. I had a great experience working with Ben A. at Builder's Hub! I wasn't even actively looking to start my flooring project, but one of their guys was working on a neighbor's project and knocked on my door. We set up an appointment just to talk and throw around some numbers... and I got such a good vibe from Ben that I signed on the spot! (VERY unlike me... I usually get half a dozen estimates and think about it for weeks!) But I'm so glad I did! It was a positive experience from beginning to end. No surprises, no hidden expenses, and the 2-man crew did a wonderful job laying the new laminate flooring in 3 days' time. I went from having 3 rooms + a hallway of disgusting carpeting rife with "mystery stains," to having beautiful, new floors that have that "weathered" look that I absolutely LOVE! Comically unreliable Tuesday, April 11, 2023 Contacted Builders Hub on April 11 to get a quote for fascia board dry rot and got an appointment for an inspection on the 18th at 2pm. Tuesday, April 18, 2023 Someone named Brandon was supposed to show up, but he didn't. I called their office at 4pm to see where he was. I was told they're about 15-20 minutes away. At 5:58pm I received a call with the excuse they were on a job. He asks me if I'm available the next day, so I tell him 8:30am on Wednesday. Wednesday, April 19, 2023 Of course, he doesn't show up, then texts me at 10 am blaming traffic, and asks if he can come by in 30 minutes. I am working, so I tell him I have availability after 3pm. He has an inspection at 3, so asks if Friday works better. I then receive a call from a manager at 6:25pm saying someone can come by tomorrow at 1pm. I tell him I am in a meeting from 12:30pm to 2:30pm so 3pm works. Thursday, April 20, 2023 I get a call from the scheduler at 9:13am reconfirming my 3pm appointment. I tell her that we've decided to go with a different company. She said that made sense. During my meeting, my doorbell rings at 1:41pm, and get two calls. I can't answer because of said meeting. I am amused at how poorly run this company is run. If they can't make an appointment, there is no way I would entrust them with anything to do with my home. read more

However, ever since then, Builders Hub has been persistently calling me every single month, asking if I want to work with them. It's been incredibly annoying and disruptive. I have not hired Builders Hub (yet), but I just wanted to share my experience with their estimate on some work I wanted done on our garage. I am restoring a 100-year-old home, so I have had plenty of people come out for estimates. I was really impressed by my consultation with this company. I met with Raul, and considering some other major repair projects I have going on, he took his time to inspect my property and gave an honest recommendation to wait on the garage work. He then stuck around to answer all my questions not only on the garage work but on the other major projects I have going on. He then invited me to take a look at some of the projects their company is doing in the area. I wanted my living space and dining area opened up since my dining room use to be a bedroom and it was only partly opened up. I didn't even know it was possible but not only were they able to get rid of the posts/load bearing walls but they were even able to raise the ceiling!! I am happy to join the chorus of positive reviews about Builders Hub. I needed to have some drywall work done in my kitchen and bathroom. Additionally, I needed my kitchen fluorescent lights replaced with recessed LED lights, and replaced a broken light fixture in the bathroom. Not a huge job, but one that required professional expertise. I had some anxiety about this project because I had a bad experience with a previous contractor several years ago. My anxiety dissipated thanks to Builders Hub. Ari and Shani came to my home for a consultation. They spent a lot of time assessing the project, asking questions, and made recommendations and suggestions. I explained that I was getting estimates from a couple other contractors and I would be in touch. They emailed me a clear, detailed estimate and followed up after a week. I was so impressed by their professionalism that there was no question that I would hire them for the job. The subcontractors who came to my home were equally professional. They arrived promptly. They took great care to drape the work area and were very tidy when they cleaned up at the end of each work day. I had a couple of questions during the renovation and Ari promptly replied to my texts. I had some travel planned in the middle of the project and that was accommodated without a problem. Was in the market of remodeling my home kitchen after taking money out of my equity in my property. Before this remodeling, my kitchen had a tan styled color to it. I felt that blend was too out dated. I felt like upgrading it and adding a white marble themed kitchen with a new sink. I hired Builders Hub to paint my house and landscape my front yard. I knew that they were expensive, but I thought that I would get a quality job done. I was wrong. They boasted about how they will do a lot extra and do it better than anyone else but later deny they even said those things. Having a discrepancy with the job on the front yard I had spoken with the supervisor, and he was very rude and demeaning towards me. He had questioned my age and my mental capacity. Very unprofessional attitude and did not help in resolving the issue I had. The work was very unprofessional. They intentionally did not paint a few portions of my house, got paint on my window, got paint in an electric outlet, and broke my doorbell. When I had brought these concerns to them, they either refused to acknowledge it or denied it completely. The workers did not clean up the front yard when the job was done and left a mess in front of my house, and it looks unfinished. Builders Hub is a contractor of nightmares where they act like they know what they are doing but show that they do not. They are very expensive and charged $10,000 to paint my house and another $20,000 for my front yard. My house and yard are not that big either. I would not recommend Builders Hub to anyone and would advise staying away from this company. read more

I wish I could've had the same experience as everyone else leaving rave reviews. Also wish I had the opportunity to know if the company actually does great work. I've had 2 separate projects in the last 6 months that I needed done. The first was a roofing project and Yuvi came to my home told me he'd get back to me with an estimate MONTHS ago and I'm still waiting (obviously I found someone else for the job or I'd be swimming in my living room). For the past 3 weeks or so Mike had been calling my phone trying to set up an appointment with me to get an estimate on flooring. I finally made time for the appointment, Raul came by (he was very nice and professional) however here I am again over a week later with no estimate that I was told I'd get in a couple days. I needed to have a new retaining wall built due to the old one had cracked during the heavy rains in February. I called Builders Hub and Yuvy was very friendly, as were his workers. They were cementing the blocks and my wife noticed they were using a red colored dyed cement. She didn't like that: she asked them to make it gray and they didn't get mad or anything. They did what she asked---no complaints. The job was finished and it looked fantastic! I asked for business cards so I can refer my friends and relatives. They were that good! I wish I could say more about this company but I can't think of anything else great to say. I want to hire them to do more work for me but in time. This company is honest and fast. We noticed a slow leak coming from our master bathroom back in January. Our insurance took forever to process everything but when they finally did, after getting a couple different quotes, I hired Builders Hub to complete the work and I am so happy I did. It was a big project, the leak had managed to completely ruin the subfloors in both the master and guest bathrooms so a complete remodel was necessary. It took about a month to complete but I am very pleased with the results and the price was spot on. I highly recommend this company for any remodel needs.
