Chicken Pesto Pasta & Monte Carlo

Had to run it back and go again. Definitely shared the pasta and the crepes. Service was awesome and the music was soft

I stopped into Iguana Bistro and Café and walked into a space has that cozy, relaxed charm that makes you want to sit back, sip, and stay awhile. Now let's talk food.......the pasta portions are no joke. Big, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I had one of their pasta dishes and it was delicious from start to finish. Comfort food done right! The dessert was another win..... just the right balance of sweet and satisfying without being too heavy. And the drinks? My French martini was perfection. It was smooth, balanced, and the kind that makes you immediately say, "I'll have another." The service was friendly and warm, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. It's got that genuine European hospitality that feels hard to find these days. If you're looking for a spot with great food, generous portions, and a relaxing, European-style café feel, Iguana Bistro + Café is absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be back!

I stopped in with my friend last week and they didn't disappoint. Their service was quick and efficient, ambiance is low lit and cozy, and the food was really good. I loved that menu had so many different options. Spicy four cheese dip, 3/5. Seafood Mac and cheese, 5/5. Florentine, 6/5. Chicken pesto, 5/5. Brownie a la Mode, 10/5. European dream waffle, 2.5/5. Martinis, 5/5.

There is a reason this restaurant has so many 5 star reviews! Service was great and the time to receive food was fast. The blended mojito and iced latte were very good. The portions were large.

The food was good but it's less of a cafe and more just a restaurant. Not really Conducive to getting work done.

The sparta crepe ($15) was like pancake texture, on the softer side. Chicken was dry. The chipotle mayo was nice though! They let us stay for an extra hour to do work, smooth wifi

The seafood Mac and cheese was advertised as an appetizer. It was so large I could barely finish it. It came out piping hot and was soooo savory. Each bite was of heaven but I had to save some for later. Try their pumpkin spice cappuccino! It's like a cup of coffee made from home. I'm not sure how long they'll have it for. It's very European/cafe/bar modern inside. Mood lighting always, letting in just enough sunlight on a sunny day.

Went to Iguana Cafe today to try some new food! I was very excited about the crepes. We tried: 1. Espresso Martini - this was super nice! Very well made and I enjoyed it a lot 2. Bloody Mary - presentation on point. 3. Amsterdam Crepes - I am vegetarian so this option was nice! It had a lot of red bell pepper and tomato, and I added some mushrooms as well because I love them haha. Service was super quick! We didn't even have to wait to get a table. The ambiance of the place is very nice and cute. Felt very European.

Beets & burrata salad with grilled chicken

I have been coming here on business every year since 2017. The pastas here are generous and delicious! However, this time I decided to order the fig, beets & burrata salad and added grilled chicken. It was unfortunately a let-down -- though the chicken was well-seasoned, it was overcooked and hard. The salad, which came drizzled in balsamic, lacked sufficient dressing. I had to ask for additional dressing. My friend who ordered the smoked salmon salad enjoyed his -- I took one bite and was immediately jealous that my salad paled in comparison to his. I typically order an espresso martini with my meal every time I dine here, because in the past, it had always been good. Sadly, my martini was too creamy and lacked the punch you get from the espresso. It hardly tasted like espresso at all! At such a milky consistency, I couldn't even finish it. It was disappointing. Hopefully better luck next time!

Great spot for a casual meal! I went for lunch and it was the perfect portion and pretty good food! We started with the seafood dip and I got a sandwich. The bread and pita for the dip were fresh which was a great touch! The dip itself was good, a bit fishy tasting though. I got the Napoli sandwich and it was great! The food is also priced super reasonably compared to places in the area so it makes it an easy spot to just pop in for an easy meal. The pastas also looked very good and I'd love to go back and try a crepe for breakfast! The atmosphere is a bit dark inside and outdated but the servers and staff are so friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be back, I'm excited to try breakfast!

Went for lunch ... first time visit. The room is lovely with it's dark tones. I ordered the tomato basil soup with crumbled feta and the Amsterdam crepe with ham added. My husband ordered a bowl of the chili. The chili was very good. The tomato-basil was good but the crumbled feta was actually large chunks. The major fail was the crepe. The taste was overwhelmed by the peppers and the olives. I could not taste the Gouda or cheddar (of which there was a minimal amount). The service was okay 'though when the server saw me "deconstructing" the crepe at the end of the meal, she asked if everything was okay. When I replied that I wouldn't order this again, she just turned and walked away. Maybe I'd go back for a drink because the bar looked nice and cozy, but I wouldn't rush back for a meal.

Lovely cozy restaurant! I'm surprised I didn't try it earlier. It might look super discreet from the outside, but you will be surprised with the amazing food and the friendly staff. Our favorite was the pesto pasta and the croissant sandwich. Will definitely come back to try more things on their menu!

So...not sure the food is good. I just happen to think the attitude is a little worse. Came with a group and someone in our party ordered the French Onion Soup and then a Croque Monsieur. No one else in our group ordered a starter. What's weird is for some reason they decided to course the soup with everyone's mains. Normal restaurants, including like....your local suburban Chile's, know not to do that but this place thought that was normal. So already, my friend is a course behind everyone because they didn't serve his starter first. What's worse is when he finishes his soup...he doesn't get his main. We actually FINISH our mains and he still hasn't gotten his. He makes a comment VERY NICELY to our waitress like hey! Just wanted to check on my meal! She responds, "all our meals are timed perfectly." What!! My buddy goes, "Okay...I've just been waiting for 15/20 minutes so I think I'm ready for my sandwich." She responds, "okay....let me alert the kitchen." Wait? You didn't even tell them he needed his meal?? We wait another 15 minutes. We flag the waitress again and ask where his meal is and she responds "everything is made to order so the kitchen needs some time." Okay. This is a Croque Monsieur. Are you....rising bread right now? What is happening? So I get frustrated and jump into this and say, "Ya but we've been waiting over 30 minutes for his main. We've all finished so now you're asking my friend to eat alone." She responds, "everything is served hot so what is the problem??" !! I get annoyed because up until this moment, we've been pretty nice. But this waitress not acknowledging any issue or trying to make it better and talking back to us like this is weird. So I just say, "Bring a manager over." Well...it didn't matter. This lady learned her attitude from somewhere and it was probably from the manager. The manager immediately is on the offense like, "you ordered a soup and we wanted you to have the soup hot. And we want your next meal to be hot. We make everything fresh and we clean our dishes in between." The heck? All we want is for my friend to be able to eat his main. So I say, now rudely, "just bring the food. We have waited 30 minutes now. Everyone is done with their meal. If you haven't made it, cancel the order and we'll go somewhere else." She responds, "we usually serve the starter first. If you didn't like that, then don't order a starter." SERIOUSLY!? What is happening!? I think about telling her that USUALLY even if only 1 person has ordered a starter, that gets served first before EVERYONE gets their mains TOGETHER. Instead I say, "listen, cancel the order or give us the food but we aren't waiting any longer." And she goes, "we can't cancel it. The kitchen has been working on it." So I say "this better be home baked bread because they've been working on it for 45 minutes by now." IT STILL takes another 5 minutes to get this meal. It is cold. It is an average Croque Monsieur. And they probably all spit in it. At the very end, the waitress comes over and says, "I see what you mean and there were coursing issues but we take pride in our food and we weren't going to degrade that so we could serve you faster." This place literally lives up to a Parisian stereotype, I guess.

There is a small market doenstairs with easy to grab pre prepared meals and wines as well as other snacks and beverages as well as trinkets and souvenirs. Since everything in the store is pretty expensive, I don't really purchase much. I have other family members gift a meal or two for me which was eggplant parmesean and I have to say that it was pretty tasty. The portion size i think is generous as well though it did make me really sleepy and nearly almost put me in a coma Nonetheless, it was pretty delicious. They have a wide variety of other goods to choose from as well downstairs. When you take the escalator or elevator to the upper floors, there are dry goods such as breads, tomato sauces, cheeses, bread, and much much more. The wine wall was pretty spectacular as well amd they divided the wines by region. The other part of the store has a stand alone restaurant towards the back which was packed. They also had these stations woth an open concept kitchen so you can see the chefs cooking as well as the bartenders preparing drinks. That was fun to witness as I walked by. It was very hustle bustle and they had one lounge style sit down eatery with waiters and another casual restaurant in the back with waiters. I highly recommend it if you have not gone. It seems the menu changes daily. I purchased a savory crepe and it was fantastic! The mushrooms were large, wonderfully sautéed and had a nice garlicky sauce. The spinach was wilted but not soggy (as it should be) and the feta brought the whole thing together with a spicy kick. The crepe was of a good, eggy flavor and texture.
