Fabulous coffee and Philly tortas! Mayo is such a sweet man and cares about his customers and the dishes he creates. We will be back!

Great little cafe. I have had the smoothies and the Gelato. I believe it's cash only now so make sure you have cash on you.

There is plenty of seating indoor and outdoor, which is great because this spot is quite popular. They have two small lots but also plenty of street parking. There's WiFi and outlets throughout, however sometimes the WiFi gets too crowded so it takes a while to connect. Be mindful that you can work anywhere except for the bar. The service is great, they text you when your order is ready and they even say your name in a singsong way lol. I like that they have a new seasonal flavor to try each time I come. I usually get a chai or matcha with whatever the new flavor is. They have ice cold water as well. I typically make my own breakfast tacos when I come here and they're always pretty good. LOVE their fries! It's funny that some of the people that work there will remember you by your order. When I bring others, they enjoy the food. My friend had the patty melt which she said was great.

They had so many drinks to choose from and some food. I liked the variety of things they had to offer and I think I even saw a window for people sitting outside to order at. I only tried a couple of drinks. The first one I tried was the matcha average mule and I guess if you like Moscow mules you would enjoy this. I didn't really find the matcha flavor strong or there at all. It had a lot of the lime flavor more than anything else. The other drink I tried was the pretty in pina which is basically a pina colada. That drink was my favorite amongst the two. It tasted like your classic pina colada. Service was also great I didn't have any issues.

I usually come here to play with friends, but they also host game events. They have an extensive collection of games, ranging from childhood classics to complicated games that have you trying to figure the instructions out for an hour (good thing there isn't a time limit). There is a $5 fee to access the games, but it will be waived if you buy a drink/snack instead, which is a win for me even if I lost every game that day. There is plenty of seating for how seemingly small the cafe is. Parking can be difficult on busy days, but the neighborhood behind the building has street parking. Definitely give Coral Sword a visit if you haven't already. But beware, 4 hours will pass in a blink of an eye.

It is such a cozy and welcoming café, and I always enjoy spending a few hours getting immersed in different board games. The concept alone makes this place a fun and unique destination. That being said, while I love the atmosphere and experience, I do not think the drinks are particularly impressive. In fact, I would consider them below average compared to other cafés in the area. The iced matcha latte tasted noticeably low quality, and the hibiscus tea was reminiscent of feet. The only drink I have consistently enjoyed has been the iced chai latte, which was flavorful and well balanced. The food, however, is a different story. I have generally had much better experiences with the food than with the beverages, making it a better option if you are looking for something to snack on while playing games. If your main goal is to enjoy the board game selection and spend time with friends, I would recommend ordering food rather than coming specifically for the drinks. Overall, this place shines because of its atmosphere, board game collection, and the experience it offers. While the beverages leave something to be desired, the fun environment and solid food options keep me coming back.

The place is cozy in size similar to Andy's Home Cafe and there is a bar for solo diners to eat at. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is a steam table that serves a lunch special with multiple options. It is not manned all the time because customers may want to order from the menu instead. The prices here are cheap, even less than Frank's or Telwink nearby. My catfish and eggs were $11.99 and it was only $1.50 to add an extra egg. The catfish may have been swai though given how mild it was, but the portions were comparable to the diner competitors. You also have to season the eggs and grits yourself like at other diners. As I was eating, customers started strolling in for lunch. The bad thing about the place is the steep entrance and exit to the parking lot. If you have a low car like mine, you'll definite scrape the bottom no matter what angle you take. So I don't think I will ever return despite the food value here.

Been to lots of Teahouse locations in the Houston area. Ordered my favorite #1 Teahouse Cream Tea as usual (half mini boba and half regular boba, 50% sweet, less ice), and decided to try the Squid Balls. This one is unique for downsizing their boba and richness of their famous cream tea. On the screen above the cashier, the ad for the Squid Balls is double the amount than what they actually give the customers. Literally there were eight small pieces and that's it. If this was my first time to Teahouse, then I would say the Cream Tea is pretty good, but since I have been having this same drink for decades, it is obvious this location's is a bit watered down. It lacks its usual richness. Nope, not returning to this location. Giving it 3 stars only because of the Teahouse brand and the cashier was quick. The drink and food came out in less than 5 minutes.

Also, the pastries were what I was mainly hoping for, but didn't see much, just cake and some packaged cookies. I ended up only ordering the only hot food available on the menu, the beef pho kolache, which was actually really really tasty. The $8 price point is a little hard to swallow, but worth trying at least once! Milk bread is soft and the brisket goes really great with sriracha. The hoisin was a tad too salty for me; I think it would work best if it had, in theme, the aromatics from actual pho, otherwise it's too heavy. The yuzu lemonade was citrusy and refreshing, definitely hits the spot during the summer. There's a bit of space in the back, and there's a patio area (though I'm not sure if it's 100% Koffeteria's, but it was set up for World Cup watching.
