Very small venue, you get up close and personal with the artist. Not a bad seat in the place. The lighting is amazing and the sound quality is on point. Upon entrance we were granted to opportunity to meet Kelly Clarkson. She was very nice, asked our names gave us a hug and took pictures. Her voice is no joke, she is the real deal when it comes to vocals. Great show

We got free tickets to watch the pre-screening of Crazy Rich Asians here and so glad we made it!!! Really organized event from getting in line to receive our wristbands, security check and pretty much throughout the end of the showing. We were definitely SPOILED here as in photo booth set-up fit for the theme, red carpet, and popcorn, drinks, and chocolates! Oh and a portable rose gold battery with the title of the movie written on it as the last hand out we received. #blessed Good size theater with leveled seats. Larger screen in between smaller ones for the movie. There's an upper deck viewing from the top with a bar. Security was strict, but glad they did not have to warn anyone regarding cellular device and that they also got a chance to enjoy the movie with us as well. I can't say anything about Crazy Rich Asians other than to watch it when it hits the theaters August 15, but would like to also thank iHeart Radio Theater LA for hosting us! Looking forward to more screenings here in the future!

Went here for a live taping of a Jimmy Eat World concert. The check in process was unorganized. A bunch of us walked past a staff member and stood in line. About 10 min later the same staff member told us we should have went over to this table and checked in first. Why didn't he tell us that from the start? Doors opened about 15 minutes late, which was annoying because it was freezing outside. Once we got inside the venue there was a free photo booth and they gave us complimentary water and soda. It is a small venue, so it was pretty awesome to see the band so up close. The best thing about this venue is that there is plenty of free street parking, so you avoid the typical $20 to $30 fee that most concert venues charge.

    Jason Derulo album release party!

Came here for the Jason Derulo album release party. What a great place for an intimate concert! Standing room only, but before the show started people were able to sit up on the balcony. I'd recommend standing in the back to get a good view, but these days it's hard because everyone has their phones out recording! I was literally watching the concert through the phone of the person in front of me. One thing I know for sure, I like Jason Derulo way more! Check in was quick and easy. I heart radio staff were awesome. This is definitely not a 1iota line up way in advance kind of thing. -Give it a try! I'd go again if I somehow got tickets to another release party!

Epic performance, don't give up the opportunity if you get the chance to go here. We lined up 2 hours before th show started and this was our view. Phenomenal.

Echoing what everyone else has been saying - the service is SO slow. It was about 45 minutes before we were able to order our second drink and our water glasses were empty. They have so many runners bringing the drinks out but only a few servers and, from the looks of it, one bartender (on a Saturday night - what?!). The server was saying he was trying to find a manager to help out but they were nowhere to be found. Clearly management is fine with these service times since they're still making $$$. The drinks were delicious, and I loved that there were heaters on the patio (though they did get very hot at times). Our server was so kind and brought us a celebratory drink. I do wish there were more explanations with the beverages, especially for the Paid Vacation as most people will not realize you're supposed to bite into the buzz button for the tingly sensation. I would come back, but need some time for my wallet to recover first, haha!

Kulak's Woodshed is a live music event venue, video recording and private music recording space. It's limited capacity, intimate and thoughtful. Brought to life by Paul Kulak, a local indie thoughtful big in stature and heart man whose love of music, sound and visuals brought this space in to existence at the tail end of the 1990s. A space for musicians to thrive, from grammy winners to new to expressing their gifts. I've passed the Woodshed many times in my 15 years in the SFV, but only recently started to enjoy it including their live webcasts and concerts via Facebook Live. Offering greatness on Laurel Canyon between Magnolia Blvd/Weddington Street, mere steps aways from my favorite local art supply store Carter Sexton. It's in a of creativity, expression and artistic joy. Check out their Mondays, musicians can sign up by 7pm for Singer/Songwriter Open Mic. Mostly supported by Paul's hard work, incredible volunteers and audience donations. It's an all welcoming, all ages, all genres and styles of music space. Beverages, snacks and conversations are all self served. Pet friendly environment, but good to be mindful others especially with allergies. Street parking is your friend, though if you don't mind a stroll parking a little further can be easier especially at night, rideshare or even metro as it's less than half a mile from the nearest station. They do not allow any alcohol, recreational or hard substances inside. It's indie, it's music, it's Kulak's Woodshed.

The Enchanted Manor was the first place we looked at and we both felt that it was the right fit. Georgia has created a little oasis in her back yard that we felt fit our vibe - lowkey, but classy. We had booked originally for approximately 60 guests, however once all the pieces fell into place we were closer to 50. Unfortunately our guest count dropped below 50 just after our window to let Georgia know, but she was kind enough to offer us the price difference. We applied that balance towards renting some heaters and lighting the fire pits as the weather got colder than anticipated, as well as to handling the trash. (Pay attention to the contract, you are responsible for removing trash or there is a fee.) One thing I didn't realize before booking was that there is space for a kitchen, but it needs to be built out for your event, so make sure you consider that into any costs. Georgia was really helpful and responsive to all of our questions (we had so many) and anything that we couldn't do she had very reasonable reasons. (For example, at one point I thought I'd like confetti, but she explained why she doesn't allow that on her property which made total sense!) The weeks before I became worried that there wasn't enough decor, so we bought some items that we ended up returning. Once the rentals arrived, combined with the lighting, everything was beautiful as it was. Though there is excellent lighting, I would recommend watching your step as we did have a few tripping incidents (that were not alcohol fueled in some cases) as the ground changed. It was more due to the way things were spaced and we'd have to make sure to look down as we stepped around things, but we managed to survive. We've started to see some photos and everything looked beautiful; it was a romantic but relaxed vibe which was just what we wanted. I worried it wouldn't feel like a wedding, but it did. Georgia was a gracious host, our guests enjoyed her home (we made sure to tell them that they could rent it as well for an overnight getaway) and we can't wait to start reading her book. She gave us the sweetest compliment after, saying how kind our guests were and how that spoke to who my husband and I were as well. We stayed in touch after the wedding and I hope we meet again in the future for events or just a dinner to hear of her adventures! PS - her cats were big hits all around, too!

We reserved a table for our large group of 16 and we were informed that it would be about $150 for the table. We were told it would include a bottle of prosecco and automatic gratuity. But we were warned that if we showed up after 10, we'd still have to pay the cover charge ($5). The inside has low lighting and there is a security guard posted at the entrance. The spot is surrounded by a couple of fast food spots, like the dog haus. And, of course, a taco truck and hot dog vendor show up later in the night! I appreciated that the music was at a good volume; I didnt have to scream to people to get them to hear me. They have a water station conveniently located at the bar. The drinks were great (they've got happy hour prices before 10). And its pretty empty until after 10. I enjoyed my margarita and the Mexican candy shot that I was able to request to have made. Honestly, the drinks were awesome! Since some people from our party werent able to show (down to 11), we were able to ask about the smaller group table, closer to the bar. Our original table was in the back, after the dance floor. Its great if you want to be isolated. Our table ended up being $100, probably cause we didnt get that promised prosecco and it didnt have table service, which worked for us. We had fun dancing. Even though, the music being played wasnt what we consider as throwback hip-hop/reggaeton. The bathrooms were pretty small, with an odd layout (a step before the two stalls). I'd check this nightclub out again!
