I was really excited to try the Dubai Chocolate Pancakes because they looked absolutely amazing in the photos. They were one of the main reasons I decided to order. Unfortunately, when they arrived, they looked completely different from how they were advertised. It was honestly really disappointing. I've never felt the need to leave a review before, but considering how much I spent, especially after delivery fees and other charges, I expected something that at least resembled what was being promoted. Instead, the presentation was nothing like the pictures, and it felt misleading. It honestly makes me wonder whether these pancakes would have been served this way if I had been dining in the restaurant instead of ordering delivery. Visited IHOP in Addison on Father's Day with my mother. We were seated quickly, but waited quite a while before anyone attended our table. Despite being seated before other customers nearby, they received their drinks and service before we were even greeted. A staff member took our drink order but said they weren't our server and couldn't take our food order. I was also told that substituting white toast for pancakes would cost extra. When our food arrived, my mother's wheat toast was missing, and my white toast was mistakenly taken away. Her toast wasn't brought out until after we had finished eating. Busy on Sundays, so don't expect quality service. Was seated at 1050am. Put in our order (4 dishes) at 1055am. Was visited once by a waiter who brought our water at like 11. We heard nothing from anybody for 40 minutes. Many waiters stood around like they had nothing to do, probably waiting for the kitchen to get stuff out, but nobody checked in/ updated us about the fact that our food was taking 45 minutes to come out. What can you really say about an IHOP at 1am on a Sunday into Monday morning? It's there, and it's a pretty standard go to. Frankly, it was in the right place for the time. I ordered the Corned Beef Omelette and a side of (3) buttermilk pancakes. I also had coffee and an iced water. I was joined by 3 others who frequent there, who seemed happy enough with both their food and their service. Corned Beef Omelette: I want to say it's a 3 egg omelette that's filled with hashbrowns, corned beef, saurkraut, and caramelized onions. It comes served with a handful of brisket scattered over top, and drizzled with mustard. I realize that it may sound a little weird, but it was pretty tasty over all. My portion was ample, and the pancakes were pretty spot on. The service was okay, and about as expected for the time of night we were there. I couldn't believe what I was in for when I brought my 87 year old Mother here to get something to eat today in between taking her to different appointments today. You think IHOP and you automatically think chain food quality and service. Boy were we wrong. First this was the cleanest IHOP I have seen in years, and that even included the washrooms (at least the men's was, I couldn't tell you about the women's). Second, our Server JOSE was the best. Very friendly and personable as well as professional. He was always right there and also was very helpful with suggestions. Third, this location had a special deal going for Seniors (which is 55+ in age) of BOGO for anything on the menu other than the usual Seniors menu. Finally we come to the food itself. I had the Sirloin Steak Tips with mashed potatoes, buttered sweet corn, garlic bread and I opted for the cream of potato soup. The soup came with melted cheddar cheese and bacon bits which upped the taste several notches. The potatoes and corn were perfect but what amazed me were the sirloin steak tips. They were very tender and juicy unlike what can happen at a lot of places where the steak ends up on the dry side. They were cooked with just the right amount of onions and mushrooms that combined with the steak gave it a delicious caramelized taste that was fantastic. My Mother opted for the Big Steak Omelette with a side order of the Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes with whipped cream on top. Her omelette was overflowing with tender steak, hash browns, green peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheddar cheese and a mild salsa on top and she loved it immensely. Her pancakes were 4 very large ones and she ended up taking 1/2 of her omelette and most of her pancakes home to enjoy in the morning. I will definitely be back here again as well as to highly recommend this IHOP to many of my friends. Corporate and many of their franchises could learn a lot from this location. read more

One of the best IHOP franchises I've been at. The interior is clean, and not too noisy. Service is quick to seat you and serve you and to meet your needs when asked. The food is some of the best IHOP quality -- waffles are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Chicken tenders could look a little more like chicken tenders, but they're crispy and not overcooked. Their breakfast samples come with a large variety of breakfast items, and all well prepared as well. For the price you're paying at IHOP (a lot less compared to other breakfast places in the area), this place is great. read more

Well, it's an IHOP, so the menu isn't going to stray much from what you'd imagine- less a few seasonal items- but the thing that really stands out about this location is the exceptional service. Working near here and having the great fortune of being a friend of Yelp's Duke of the International House of Pancakes (Addison) has led me to many a late night b-fast here. Most of the time I'm filled with immediate regret after eating way too much not-so-healthy food, but on the other hand, 100% of the time I'm filled with joy over the good times I've had with friends/co-workers laughing over the Senior Rooty Tooty Fresh 'n Fruity or various other menu novelties. The food is pretty basic and I've had my fair share of tummy aches from breakfast grease consumption but I always know I'll be back. Plus, there aren't many places around here with hours as exceptional as these... and they have coffee (of course), so there's that. Like I said before, the real winner here is the service. I don't know how the servers here do it. Day in, day out (literally) waiting on and cleaning up after drunk f*ck teenagers, crotchety old folk and Addison's 'finest' 5-0 without losing their cool. I'd go bonkers... but not these guys. And I have to give a special shout out to my boy, Dio. He's always on point and is just about the most friendly/patient person I've ever met. I mean, it's an IHOP. It's nothing particularly fancy or special. But as far as IHOP goes, this place is quite good. They go above and beyond for their customers and they are always open. We know if we want some breakfast-type food at an odd hour that we can come here and get a quick fix. We have a waiter. We call him our waiter because we feel a bit sad if we get anyone else. He's super friendly, very funny, and always aims to please. He lets us know if there are any good coupons floating around and helps us order in a way to save the most money. read more

Probably the worst visit i have ever had to an IHOP. Ordered strawberry and creme crepes, got cold, no cream, and sour berry crepes with cold hashbrowns. The food took around an hour to come out. My friend's spicy chicken sandwich was dry, so he asked for more sauce. The waiter needed it explained to him at least 4 times before he understood.
